The hooded stranger

The next day they woke up late. They decided that the letter that Nina received the previous day was just a prank. They decided to go swimming in the pool at the backyard of the chalet. "How come we forgot that this resort provided us with a pool at each chalet?" asked Shasha. "I was really looking forward to it and we forgot about it."They had a swim in the pool. Lili and Anna decided to have a sunbath and slept on the recliner. "Did you apply sunscreen?" asked Nina. "You'd be burnt to a crisp if you don't.""Yes Nina," said Anna, annoyed. "We know. We already applied it."They sat in the sun for about an hour and then came out a little red. They were not really burnt but they were tan. "Yes now I have a lovely tan," said Lili. "Now I'm not so pale anymore.""Yes and I am red carpet ready," said Anna, striking a pose. "Luckily I didn't burn."They had fun that day. They decided to go for a hike. They took pictures, ate lunch in the forest and did many things. They also noticed that someone had put up a camp there, nearby to the resort that they were staying at. They spent their day enjoying the view of the beautiful island. The next day, they decided to go for a museum marathon. "What a museum marathon?" asked Lili, shocked. "I couldn't be bothered by all that boring stuff.""Yeah can we go somewhere else?" said Anna. "Like to the boutique or something?""You two go," said Nina. "I wanna see the museum.""Yeah I wanna see the history of Yakushima too," said Asuka. "You two carry on. I thought I saw a boutique not far from here."Anna and Lili went over to the boutique. It was more like a mini mall actually. They shopped and shopped. They went crazy over the dresses and make up. Then, they saw something odd while paying at the cashier. It was a guy, dressed in black with a hood over his head! He saw them and walked away quickly towards the exit of the store after paying for the things that he had bought."Hey that guy matches the description that the receptionist gave us," said Anna. "Come on! Let's follow him!"They followed him and he was starting to walk faster and then eventually started running. The girls ran too. The guy sped towards a crowd and disappeared. The two ladies followed and eventually lost him. "I'm tired," said Lili. "Eeew sweat! Come on, Anna, let's go cool down at that smoothie bar."They went to that smoothie bar and decided to have a drink. It was refreshing. There was a jewellery store just across the street. They saw the guy leaving the jewellery story. "Hey look at that!" said Anna. "He's at the jewellery store! Come on, after him!"They quickly finished their smoothies and grabbed the stuff that they had just bought and ran after him. The guy immediately took chase and started running. Lili, being a gymnast, ran after him and grabbed him by his jacket and kicked him to the floor with a Kiss of Devotion move. He fell face down. His hood fell off and he tried to get up. He had blond hair in the same colour as Steve's. Anna walked towards him to remove his mask and reveal his face but he caught her off guard and tripped her foot, causing her to fall. He got up and ran away with the things that he had bought."Urgh! He got away!" said Anna. "Come on let's go tell the others."They walked back to the museum and waited for the others to come out. They came out just as the two arrived. "Hey what's up?" asked Nina. "You two look like you got into a fight and fell into a cloud of dust!""Well we did," said Anna. "We saw a man that matched the description that the receptionist gave us!""What?" asked Nina. "You mean he's still around here?""Yes he was shopping at the boutique," said Lili. "He started walking away quickly when we saw him!""Shopping? At the boutique?" asked Nina, shocked. "What on earth was he doing there? Did he actually buy anything?""Apparently he did," said Anna. "He bought a few women's clothes. We didn't see what he bought but we saw him leaving with a big bag of stuff.""Yeah and when he saw us he started to walk faster and eventually started running," said Lili. "We ran too but he disappeared into a crowd.""Lili decided that we cool off in a smoothie bar nearby and so we did," said Anna. "While we were drinking our smoothies, we saw him leaving a jewellery store that was across the smoothie bar.""Yeah and we chased him," said Lili. "I caught him and kicked him down. His hood fell off and he had blond hair like you, Steve.""Did you see his face?" asked Steve. "Do you know him?""No we didn't see his face," said Anna. "I wanted to remove his mask but he tripped me. He got up and ran away!""Did he drop anything?" asked Shasha. "You said he was carrying a bag of stuff right?""He somehow managed to pick up everything that he dropped," said Lili. "He was surprisingly quick.""Wait I just remembered something," said Anna. "He smelt like the cologne sprayed on that note!""He is the one then," said Nina. "So he was the one who wrote me the letter.""So what do we do now?" asked Steve. "Hunt him down and beat him up?""We don't even know who he is," said Nina. "We don't even know we'll recognise him if he goes around without the black jacket and mask.""Let's just keep our guard up high," said Shasha. "If all of us see him, we may be able to corner him.""Yes there's like eleven of us," said Xiaoyu. A person who matches that description has been found within a five kilometres radius from where we are. He is found in a nearby camp at the forest."
