"so—"

"guess what?" addison interrupts.

"i saw regulus look at me during class," ruth adding onto what addison said.

"that's fantastic?" elizabeth says confused, but also wanting to care about ruth's crush.

ruth has had a crush on regulus for a while, but elizabeth never really cared. she tried her hardest to be there for her friend, but it's hard to be there for someone when you don't understand.

"we need to find you a boyfriend, so you'll get it," addison tells her.

"i'll pass on that one," elizabeth says. "but anyway brady and i need to go, so we'll see you later, bye."

she smiles before walking off.

brady and elizabeth walk out of the hall together. the girls have been trying to her her a boyfriend for a while, and keep bugging her about it.

"liz, when are you going to start being friends with people you want to?" brady asks her.

"i want to be friends with them, i just don't get what the big deal is about boys, i mean they're just boys."

brady looked over at elizabeth, and just nodded, him being the only person who ever knew about her relationship with the first and only boy she had ever dated.

soon they found one of their other friends, luke meyer, in the hall making out with some random ravenclaw.

brady clears his throat to get luke's attention. he quickly stops and looks up at his friends.

"well, sarah, it's always nice seeing you, but i have to go now," luke says, getting up and slowly walking towards the other two.

the two begin to walk, and luke follows behind them.

"you've never seen her before have you?" elizabeth says to him.

"erm, i have no idea," luke tells her. "she came up to me, hugging me, so i just went along with it, and then boom, we're snogging."

elizabeth and brady both chuckle a little.

"it's not funny guys, i'm genuinely confused."

elizabeth put her arm around the boy in a teasing way, "this is why we love you."

"yup," brady smiled.

luke, elizabeth and brady had a bond that was stronger than blood.

"so anyway, liz, when are we gonna get you a boyfriend?" luke mocked her other three girl friends. he hadn't really liked ruth, scarlett and addison all that much but hung out with them anyway.

"oh shut up!" elizabeth laughed, and nudged his shoulder.

"oh shut up jayjay!" elizabeth tells her brother, as he teases her about her crush on his friend, remus lupin, at 11 years old.

"you likeeee him lizzy," he says.

"shoosh, he's coming!" she tells him, while nudging his shoulder, as the two boys were coming over to the two siblings.

"hey guys," remus says, and elizabeth looks down. she thought remus would never see her for more than james annoying little sister.

the three continued to walk to their next and last class together. _________

regulus still sat there with his two friends. he had seen elizabeth get up and leave after the girls came in.

he watched ruth, addison and scarlett sit confused as she left almost as soon as they got there.

he considered to ask the girls about elizabeth, but then he saw them coming towards him.

"why is ruth weinstein, addison mitchell and scarlett davies coming over here?" thomas whispered to regulus.

"no idea," he replied.

regulus watched as the three girls came towards him; mostly confused. he had no idea why a girl he had never thought about or talked to was coming towards him.

ruth made eye contact with him, and waved. he lifted his hand up, and waved back slowly.

"hey regulus," she says.

"hey?"

"so us gryffindors are having a party in the common room tonight, if you three would want to come, i'll let you in," ruth tells him, while the one of the other girls, addison, stood trying not to giggle, but it was obvious she was, whilst scarlett stood anxious behind them.

"and why would we want to come?" loren campbell says. "i'm sure you don't want me and thomas to come, do you, little miss perfect?"

"yeah, you've never talked to us before," thomas added on.

"yeah, i guess we'll come, won't we guys?" regulus looks over at thomas and loren, motioning for them to say yes.

"yeah, we'll be there," thomas says annoyed, and loren nods.

"well cool, see you there," ruth says and her friends walking away behind her, squealing and whispering.

"if i ever get the chance, i swear regulus, i'm going to kill you!" loren says to him.

but regulus didn't care if she kills him, he might actually have the chance to talk to the odd but fascinating girl, elizabeth potter.
