      They just looked at each other now, smiling, and still sitting on the edge of the pool, their feet dipped in the cold water. Seconds later, Freddy broke the silence by saying, "Close your eyes. I have a surprise." and Summer did as she was told, smiling.

  "Stop smiling. Just.. smile without your teeth showing." he said, and she did the request. Freddy caressed her cheek, then leaned in closing his eyes. Moments later, his lips touched hers, they were kissing. Something that Summer wanted for a long time. She wanted her first and last kiss from Freddy, and him only.

      Summer lost track of time now, she didn't want to leave yet, but she needed to. But she didn't pull away, every moment was worth it. It felt like minutes passed until they pulled away. Their eyes opened now, then looked at each other, smiling and blushing. A lot of thoughts came rushing in their head. Summer's included, 'what just happened?', 'did he just kiss me?', and 'what time is it? Mom might be so furious when I go home past curfew!', but she still decided to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime moment. Freddy's own thoughts included, 'I just kissed her.', 'Summer's my first kiss!', and 'She might not be my first girlfriend, but she's my first kiss.', but he also decided to just stay here too, and enjoy it while it lasts.

  "Woah. What a surprise." Summer joked, breaking the silence.

  "A special surprise for the most amazing girl." He replied, putting his right arm around Summer. She rested her head on his shoulders, he laid his on hers too.

     Summer's senses finally came back to her. If she was gonna stay here much longer, she'll be way past curfew. She quickly stood up put on the flip flops and ran back inside, Freddy followed, also putting on flip flops.

  "Why, what happened?" He asked while running after her.

  "My curfew, I need to get back before 6!!" she replied, going in Freddy's room, getting her stuff.

  "Can I walk you home?" He asked.

  "Yeah. Sure." She smiled.

  "Johnson?" He called out again. "Will you get us some towels, please."

  "Yes sir." Johnson replied. Minutes later, he got two towels. "Here you go sir." He handed them to Freddy.

  "Thanks." Summer said after Freddy gave her the towel.

  "You're welcome. And, you should keep the clothes now, the towel, and the flip flops too." He said.

  "Fine." She replied, giggling while drying her hair.

  "Come on. I don't want your mom to get angry at the both of us for passing your curfew. Let's go." He said, opening the door.

  "Alright." They left Freddy's house and started going to Summer's.

      All the streetlights were lit up and the two hung their towels on their shoulders. Summer clutched her uniform and shoes in one arm.

  "Want me to help you with that?" Freddy asked, noticing Summer's struggle.

  "Nah, I'm good." She really wasn't, her uniform slowly slipped out of her grip and fell a few times.

  "No, you're not. Here, let me carry some of those." He insisted, reaching out his hands.

  "Okay. Thanks." She handed over her vest and her shoes.

  "You're welcome." He said, clutching the clothing. They continued walking in silence, as cars drove by. Once they were at Summer's porch, Freddy rang the doorbell. Summer's mother answered the door, she didn't look angry, instead she looked calm and happy that Freddy walked her daughter home safely.

  "Good evening, Mrs. Hathaway. I'm Freddy, I walked Summer back here safely, she hung out with me at my house, thank you for giving her permission." He said. Summer grinned and blushed, her mother didn't know that they kissed.

  "Good evening Freddy, and thank you for bringing her back home safely." Mrs. Hathaway replied. Freddy handed over Summer's stuff back to her, then told Mrs. Hathaway something. "I told her to keep those old clothes of mine, she needed them so she could swim. And, can we hang out again some other time?" He politely asked.

  Mrs. Hathaway smiled again then replied to Freddy, "Of course."

  "Thank you." He said. "Looking forward to it. Goodnight Summer." He said, kissing her cheek. Summer blushed, her mother grinned. "See ya!" He said, walking back to his house, waving to Summer. She didn't take her eyes off of him until he disappeared from view. Then, she turned back to her mom, still red.

  "What happened? Give me the gossip!" Her mom said, feeling giddy. She pulled Summer into the house and closed the door.

  "He kissed me!" She whispered to her, so that her dad and her siblings won't hear.

  "No way! Shut up!" Her mom whispered, feeling extremely giddy now, like a teenager being proud of her bestfriend for kissing her crush. "On the lips?" Her mom added, lowering her whisper even more. Summer nodded then her mom mouthed, "OH MY GOD!" silently.

  "I know right!" Summer mouthed back.

  "You guys make such a cute couple!" Her mom whispered the lowest whisper you could ever hear. Summer blushed at this.

  "What's for dinner?" Summer asked, now in her normal voice.

  "Oh. Fried Chicken. But before you eat, take a shower to rinse all that chlorine out of your body. Then change, quickly now! And put that uniform, that towel, those socks, and those Freddy clothes in the laundry basket, will you?" She asked, lowering her voice in 'Freddy clothes'.

  "Will do Mom." she replied, heading upstairs in her room. Once she was up there, she played down on her bed, trying to sink in all that happened today, she even dropped all of her clothing on the floor. She checked her phone (she left it here at her house cause it's not allowed in school, but she has all of her classmates' numbers), there was a text from Freddy:

Freddy: Hey. Did you tell her what happened today? If so, what was her reaction?

Summer: Hey. Yeah. Told her everything. She reacted positively, don't worry.

Freddy: Oh, good. Anyways, now that we know we like each other.. can we officially date now?

Summer: 😂 of course we can, silly..😂😘

Freddy: Just makin' sure. Love you Summer 😘

Summer: Love you too Freddy 😘 Anyways, gtg, ttyl, BYEEE!!

Freddy: Bye 💗

      She put her phone on her bedside table, then got to her feet again. She put all of her clothes and the towel in the laundry basket in the corner of her room so that her mom could pick it up later, she put her shoes in a corner as well. Then, she took a brisk shower.

      Summer changed into her pajamas then went downstairs to eat dinner with her family. After that, she brushed her teeth and went upstairs to her room again. She checked her phone  and saw 6 missed calls from Freddy and a text saying: 'What happened to you? Why aren't you answering my calls?' Clearly, he was concerned, Summer decided to call him back.

  "Summer! I thought something happened to you, I was so worried!" He said.

  "It's okay, I'm fine! Just took a shower and ate dinner."

  "Oh, okay."

  "Anyways.. Why were you calling me?"

  "Oh, yeah.. right. I wanted us to go somewhere, tomorrow's Saturday isn't it?"

  "Yeah.. Where though?"

  "There's this place where we could get ice cream sandwiches and ice cream tacos or something crazy like that.. I think it's Mel's Ice Cream Craze, something like that.. Lawrence told me about it, I think he and Esme went there.. Anyways, wanna go there? Or let's just try something else?"

  "I think that'll be awesome there!"

  "Great! Looking forward to it, then. See you tomorrow."

  "What time?"

  "Oh.. yeah, haven't thought about that. I'll pick you up at 2pm? It's just a few blocks away, we could easily walk to that ice cream place.."

  "Sure, 2pm. See ya tomorrow, then. Bye, I love you!"

  "Bye, I love you too." Freddy said, then they hung up.

Summer browsed her Instagram and saw that she was tagged in a picture posted on Freddy's account. Apparently, he posted a selfie of him and Summer. It was originally a selfie of her, Freddy, and Mr. Finn, but Freddy cropped Mr. Finn out, leaving only him and Summer. It was captioned: 'We should totally take more selfies of us💖' She then commented: 'Definitely 😘' She reloaded the photo again then saw a comment of Tomika's, saying: 'I sense #Fremmer..😏💕'

Summer: Nothing...

Tomika: Mm-hmm.. Something DEFINITELY happened. TELL. ME. NOW. BUBBLES.

Summer: Okay, fine! Tomeeks, I still like him, you know? And, I confessed my feelings to him earlier..

Tomika: Okay.. Then what happened?!!

Summer: Apparently, he likes me back.. He confessed too! 😍

Summer: IKR!! The moment was so freaking perfect!

Summer: Alright, fine. I don't even know if I'm able to sleep tonight, gahhhh😍😍

Summer: Bye bubbles😘

Summer turned her phone off and put it on the bedside table. She cozied herself up on her bed, turned the lamp off, then dozed off to sleep. She dreamt about the things that occurred earlier, the most unforgettable day that ever existed.
