chapter 3 | Treat

20:08, 24 October 2020

"Jungkook?" the woman I cannot stop thinking about smiles at me, my heart skips a beat, but I act cool and hide the gift as much as I can, "Oh...Miss Han...I didn't expect to see you here now..."

"Well," her soft laughter tingles me, but she stands up, revealing her black bodycon dress going down to her knees for her to always be so sexy but yet, so chic. "I should be the one wondering what you're doing here at this hour."

"I was...I was..." I clear my throat but feel nervous now that I'm here, in front of her. I was supposed to leave the gift on the empty table and then let it surprise her. "You were?" her stare remains fixed on me, taking her glasses off but putting them down on the desk. "I don't know..." a hiccup escapes me.

Please, not again. Not this damn problem that happens only when she gets too close to me and makes me extremely nervy.

My stupidity makes her laugh, but the sound of it reverberating through the room provokes a smile upon my face. "You can come in if you want," she steps towards me with her pumps but invites me to walk in. She closes the door behind me. I think I don't have another choice but to give her the gift in person right now.

"Miss Han..." I bite my lips but look at her into the eyes once she turns around, "Yes?" she doesn't stand on her spot but goes back to her desk, so I follow her, "Here..." I stretch my hand out to her to get the gift in her sight, but she drops her gaze onto it, wondering what I'm doing. "Th-" my hiccups embarrass me. "This is...for your birthday..." my ridiculous voice full of doubt and anxiousness fills the room, but a beam from her relieves me, and she takes the box.

"Jungkook..." what looks like content exudes from her, and she gazes up at me, "You didn't have to do this..." she half accepts this as I expected her to, but I smile timidly. "I just wanted to..." I scratch the back of my hand to ruffle my long hair but tuck my hand into one pocket of my jeans jacket right after. "Thank you very much for this, you're so sweet," she puts it down on the desk, but her eyes stay on the box as she must be reading the note I left, this thing causing her smile to never fade away.

"You can sit down here," she goes back on her chair, so I do the same and get at the desk facing hers, "You picked the best gift because I'm a fan of chocolate," she doesn't wait before opening the box but does it with delicacy, her pretty hands taking care of everything with the most care ever. "I'm glad you like it, Ma'am..." I put my bag on my lap to hug it nervously but watch her, hiccuping silently to not be caught.

She removes the top of the box to take a look inside but read what is written on a small piece of sheet that describes what the box contains. "How much did you pay for this?" she peeks at me, suddenly. "It was...twenty dollars because I couldn't pay more."

"Twenty dollars?" she expresses a lot of evident shock at my answer. "Jeon Jungkook...you should not do this. That is way too expensive, especially if it's for your teacher," she rises from her chair but hurts me with the bitter truth.

I do not like to be reminded of the facts. She is my teacher, but I don't care. She's a human to me, her professional figure will not change the way my heart beats whenever I see or think about her.

As soon as I notice her taking her wallet out, I speak out. "No, Ma'am. No need to do this, this is a gift so-" the money landing on the flat surface kindly cuts me off. "Here, this is the sweetest thing a student did for me, but I do not want you to waste your money on me," she shuts me up easily, but I don't take the money. She goes back on her chair to eat a chocolate but closes the box.

I went to a special chocolate shop just to make sure she would get the best ones so I will not be refunded as if I had paid nothing. Given what she just said, I'm the sweetest student since no one ever did something like that for her so those words are better than money.

"Do you have any questions since we still have one hour before us?" she speaks while letting the red chocolate melt in her mouth, her lip gloss always attracting my attention with the shape of her lips I wish I could embrace with my own ones. "Yes..." I nod but open my bag since we're here, together. "I wrote down some things while studying last night, and I would like to ask you some questions."

She nods as I put my pencil case down, and I take my notebook to drop my bag on the floor and reveal my notes. "Here..." I point my finger at it to ask for her to come closer, and she does it. She walks up to me in her tight dress. "What's wrong?" she bends over as I'm breathing in her feminine and arousing scent, but I bring her attention to the words written on the third line, making her focus on it while I can contemplate her features and traits.

I believe that my hormones are the ones playing with my emotions whenever I have a woman on my mind, but this woman, more than any other one, triggers as many erotic images as a hot movie would.

"What is wrong about these words?" her eyes meeting mine at the wrong moment snatch me out of my daydream, but I maintain the contact with a courage I didn't know could be so present inside of me. "I don't know how to spell them..."

"Ah, all right," she smiles but grabs my notebook. "I take this for a minute," she touches my belonging and goes up to the whiteboard. Without any control over my actions, I drop my eyes on her butt, this one wonderfully displayed in her bodycon dress with those curves of hers standing out with their own fine points. I nibble on my inner lips while scrutinizing every little inch of her body but move my legs from left to right, fidgeting and imagining some stuff that I shouldn't.

"Here it is," she turns around and obliges me to look away. Her steps bring her back to me, and she places it in front of me, making sure this is put properly to go back to the whiteboard. "I'm going to spell each part of the word individually so this won't be too hard for you, all right?" she keeps the black marker in her hand, but I nod and take my pencil case out to make sure I can write down what she explains.

"I noticed that you picked some difficult words which are clearly too hard for a student of your level right now, so, why those words?" she asks me while taking a pack of colorful markers out of her handbag. "Oh...I just wanted to learn more..."

"Can you spell them for me?" she smiles but stands before the whiteboard to now stare at me. I knew this would happen, but I am not ready at all. "Uhm...yeah but I'm really bad at it."

"It's fine, don't worry. That's completely normal for a student of your level and I'm here to teach you," she reassures me to never let me give up or feel discouraged. "All right..." I clear my throat but feel more nervous than usual. "Uhm...teu...rois...trois..." I bite my lips but get to the next word. "Le...yaourt..." I peek at her to make sure she doesn't hear any mistakes, but once she nods with a smile, I continue. I practiced all night long, I'm glad I fell asleep on my books. "La rue...and..." my hand goes up to my neck now that the word I haven't been able to pronounce is in sight. "Uh...Écu...curoil..."

Her smile now widens after hearing me, but she walks up to that word. "Here," she grabs the red and blue marker but cuts the word in two parts. "Make sure to never repeat 'cu' after another 'cu' because that is not a word you should say in French," she slightly chuckles but makes me wonder why I should avoid saying that. "Why...?"

"Because 'cucu' sounds like a word you usually use in baby-talk when you say bottom or bum, so, avoid it," she grins but focuses back on the whiteboard after making me smile. "Now, you pronounced 'écu' perfectly but 'reuil' is the hardest one," she spells it with no flaws.

I swear, she's twice sexier when she speaks French.

"It sounds a little bit like the 'rel' in 'squirrel'. Listen," she turns in my direction but closes the pen. "L'écureuil stocke des noisettes pour l'hiver," her sentence leaves her but ends in my empty brain. I didn't understand just a thing. "That means, the squirrel stores up nuts for winter."

"Ah, all right," I answer in a shy manner, but she turns back towards the whiteboard to write the sentence. "L'écureuil," she does it one by one. "Repeat after me," she tells me to follow the sound of her voice while staying aside to let the words in my sight, inscribing them on the flat surface. "L'écureuil," I smile like an idiot, this word sounding cute to me. "Stocke des noisettes," her accent on point affects me, but I still continue to listen and repeat until the end of the sentence.

"Perfect," she compliments me the way I like her to do it. "And you pronounced the other words well, so I'm really proud of you, Jungkook," she expresses her satisfaction but doesn't even realize how much this boosts my ego to hear her say this to me. I feel like a happy little boy who did something good, I'm ridiculous. "Make sure to always practice for your accent because I know that the 'r' is difficult to say."

"Yes, it is," I titter in front of her like a dumbass but grab my pen to lower my gaze and write down the sentence she left on the whiteboard with its translation. "Don't worry, you're going to be used to it and given how much of a studious boy you are, in a short time, you'll have a perfect accent," she praises me.

Honestly, I wish I had her by my side all the time, always there to cheer me up and show me I'm enough for everything. She would be a perfect girlfriend or wife, or mother. She knows how to make someone feel good and confident.

"So, do you have any more questions?" she asks me now that I'm done transcribing the sentences in my notebook. "Uhm..." I lift my hand to pull my hair back and grip it. "I have a real problem with the 'elle' and 'il'...I can never figure out whether a word is masculine or feminine, I don't understand that thing."

"Oh, all right, so this is about yesterday's lesson, right?" she opens her laptop now that I mentioned the lesson, but I nod to her. "Yes, it's right here," I hurry to take my book out to show her and maybe get the chance to have her next to me. I'm addicted to her fragrance, it's not my fault. "Let me take this with me," she holds her device, but walks up to me, doing what I wished her to do.

She sits down next to me and puts the white laptop on the desk, filling my nose with her alluring scent. She's like a soft fragrance herself, her hair smells sweet, her fragrance is attractive, and I'm pretty sure the shower gel she uses is something soft and delicate. She's honestly a freaking candy, a candy I want to eat.

"So, here are the exercises we have to wor-" she cuts her sentence short once a hiccup of mine reverberates through the room. "To work on," she smiles tenderly as if this was cute to her but then puts her glasses on to look at her screen. "First of all, you have to know that the best way to know whether a word is feminine or masculine, is to learn it with its pronoun because if you don't, you will sometimes mistake one word for a masculine one when it's not, just because you looked at the end and saw there was no 'e'. So this method doesn't always work."

I acquiesce to show her I understand but feel weird next to her, this is the first time I have her so close to me. Is this the reason why I'm hiccuping so badly? I'm too stressed out. "Let's start," her head turns in my direction so I glance down at my book to not let her catch me staring.

My heart is pounding so hard, this is not good.

8:20 am.

I sit down on my chair to retrieve my usual seat since the beginning of the classes just rang. Miss Han tidies up to be at her desk and keeps the box of chocolate on it.

She takes a peek at me as I'm still gazing at her fixedly, but I hide a part of my face with my hand to smile and drop my look down, still feeling like a kid after the moment spent with her only.

As soon as the first student comes in, he speaks out in a loud manner, as always, for Miss Han to give him all her attention. "Happy birthday, Ma'am," he manages to make her smile, her eyes looking at him only and not me anymore. "Thank you, Jaehyuk."

"Are we gonna eat some cake? To celebrate it with you?" he sits down at his desk while the others are joining us, but Miss Han shakes her head. "No, we have a lot of work to do."

"Oh...but it's a special day so why not taking some free time to enjoy it with your students?" he insists and attempts to make her give in to him. "I promise I'll come with a gift tomorrow," he drops his bag on the floor but licks his lips. "No need to, Jaehyuk. I'm your teacher, not your friend."

That's not what she said to me. She was smiling and thanking me. "That's not a problem, Miss Han, I like making you happy."

"Who said you would make me happy?" she teases him back when I didn't expect her to do that, but he chuckles and expresses a lot of satisfaction. "Because a gift always makes people happy."

"Whatever, I'm glad to see you all," she addresses to the other students. "We're glad too, Ma'am," one of them answers, but she lays her eyes on the one facing her, noticing he's bending forth to take a closer look at something. "Someone already gave you a gift?" he smiles at the sight of the box of chocolate but she places her hand over it. "That's mine. I want you to focus now."

"Who gave you those chocolates, Ma'am?" he doesn't stop bugging her but she ignores his words. "Let's start with the lesson of yesterday to check if you all studied," she sits down and takes her glasses to put them on. "Wait Ma'am, what if I buy a cake and we can eat at the end of the day for our last class?"

"Bangwoo," she sighs but sets her eyes on him. "Stop now, I said no."

"Even-"

"She told you to shut up," I go off without willing to. I just cannot stand to see him piss her off. "What don't you understand in the word 'no'?"

"Did I ask for your opinion?" he glances at me with disdain. "Stop, guys. Please," she attempts to put an end to this but only after Bangwoo replied to me. "I don't want anyone here to fight so cease this. There won't be anything for my birthday. This is kind of you to do this, but I want to work with you right now. This is important."

"Yeah, Ma'am...I'm sorry..." he finally decides to shut his mouth and leave her alone.

40 minutes later...

"See you later guys," she smiles and bows to us, but I smile and gaze down to move up to the teacher's desk and retrieve my phone. I go back to my table but keep it underneath to make sure the teacher won't see it once he comes in, and I read the texts I received from my little brother.

< asshole! Why did you eat my cereals you know I eat them every morning! ]

[ That's for the middle finger of last night🥰 >

< I hate you! Imma tell mom you used her pads to clean the floor the other day! ]

[ I used it to just do it with my freaking feet! Alright?! You shut up about that! >

< 😃🖕 ]

This little shit, he's going to regret this.

[ check your surroundings during lunch time because someone might follow you and kick your ass. >

< you shouldn't do anything or else I'll go to mom and tell her you hurt me ]

< by the way, the pretty Miss Han is here so good bye🥰 ]

[ I don't care, I just had one hour with her only. >

I answer him like a proud kid but put my phone in my pocket at the sound of the door opening. The old woman is here, and she's ready to ruin the mood Miss Han put us in earlier.

12 pm.

'YOUR P.O.V'

As the bell just rang the lunchtime, I gather up all my stuff and tell goodbye to all the students leaving the classroom one by one. I keep the box of chocolate in a special place, feeling soft each time I see it. This just reminds me how lovely my students can be with me, particularly Jungkook, even if he sometimes makes some remarks he should keep to himself, he's studious and sweet.

"Miss Han..." one of my students catches my attention, so I look up at him and let my hands on my handbag, "Yes, Jungeun?"
