Epilogue

05:39, 2 January 2024

Mary, Billy and Stu had gotten away with murder that night. Ambulances were around the front of the house, along with news vans everywhere. It's now morning, and a start of a new day. The start of their new lives. All three of them were going to live, their injuries although severe, but not fatal. Stu groans in pain when the EMT lifts him into the ambulance, Billy unconscious, and Mary wanting to ride with Stu.

"Hang in there buddy.. Alright." Stu nodded, and Mary grabbed his hand, squeezing it in reassurance. Mary looked over to where Billy was, and he was already being rushed into the hospital. The doors to the ambulance was closed, and they were rushed off to the hospital. Mr. Loomis, and Stu's parents trailing behind them. A reporter was covering the story in the front of the house.

"Hi, this is Heather, and we are reporting on the end of an era. Several more teens are dead, bringing an end to the borrowing mystery of the mass killing that has terrified this peaceful community like the plot of a scary movie. Leaving only three survivors, Billy Looms, Stu Macher and Mary Prescott. It all began with a scream over 911 that ended in a bloodbath that has rocked the town of Woodsboro. Making one girl an orphan, and three teenagers traumatized. It all played out here in this peaceful farmhouse far from crimes and the sirens of larger cities that its residents fled. -"

-In the hospital-

Mary sat on the bedside of Billy, waiting for him to wake up. Stu was with her, holding her hand in reassurance. "Luckily, I'm 18, so I won't go into the system. Do you think your parents will let me stay with you?" Stu looked over at his girlfriend, smiling shortly, but still in pain. "Sure.. they love you Mary.." The two of them had talked to the cops already, explaining the story of Neil Prescott killing everyone and himself. They were whispering between themselves, when they heard Billy stir.

Mary looked up sharply at her friend, when he mumbled something. Stu walked over to Billy, putting his ear next to his mouth, when Billy spooked him by reaching up and hitting him. Stu winced, while Mary smiled in relief. "Good to have you back Billy.." Billy looked at the girl, and laid his head back and laughed. "Bloody Mary strikes again." Mary shook her head smiling, while Stu walked back over and kissed the top of her head. The three best friends laughed, knowing they were in the clear. They spent the rest of the time in the hospital joking around.

-2 Years Later-

Mary had begun to live with Stu and his parents for the rest of their high school year. Everyone at Woodsboro looked at the trio, like they were ghosts as they walked through the school, until they graduated. Everyone talked about how they were the last remaining of their friend group, and how they were closer than ever. Stu and Mary became public, and all three followed each other to Woodsboro College, where Mary studied film. Everything would be okay, and the future would not be clear.

Authors Note:

I do plan on making a sequel with this for the second and third movie. Instead of Sidney, Randy and Dewey.. I plan on using Stu, Billy and Mary.
