There will be a bit of jumping around. To Tyler's dream, new scenes, and memories that will fall in to place.

Also, this is the last chapter. A second story called "Can't Help Falling In Love" will be published soon to continue with this one.

Tyler hadn't seen Josh since the day he told him he couldn't remember who he was.

That had been over a month ago.

It frustrated Tyler, it wasn't helping him to remember who Josh was if he avoided him all the time.

His therapist wasn't exactly a great help either. All he really did was agitate Tyler even more, asking if he remembered something, when he clearly didn't and couldn't.

They tried many exercises, some managing to bring back a small but faint detail, like the smell of something, or the color of what he may have been looking at during that time.

Most of the time, they didn't work.

Now, Tyler was sitting on his windowsill, staring out into the vast woods outside his window.

He tried to recall his dream last night, who was in it and what it meant.

He swore that the Josh boy was in it, but this one had bright red hair, not a faded strawberry-blonde color.

Slowly, it started to rain.

Tyler watched the tracks that the raindrops made on the window, tracing some of them as the rain fell harder.

He couldn't stop thinking about "Josh" and how exactly he knew him.

~*~Dream

Tyler was sitting alone in the treehouse, staring out of the window.

The ladder creaked and he heard footsteps, turning around in excitement as Josh climbed up into the treehouse.

Josh flashed him a smile and he ran into his arms.

"I've missed you, babe I've missed you." Josh whispers while he kisses every inch of Tyler's skin that he can reach.

Tyler giggles softly. "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry. I've missed you too."

Josh stops and looks at Tyler, sadness washing over his face. "What happened to you, Ty, that was my fault..."

"No, no don't say that." Tyler held on to the front of Josh's shirt.

"It was Tyler, it was! It was all my fault, I can't stop blaming myself!"

Tyler watched as a gash opened up at the top of Josh's head and blood slowly started to drip down his face.

"No. no!" Tyler shouted.

Josh's face twisted into a grimace, his leg buckling underneath him.

Tyler helped him down to the ground, shaking him.

"Josh," he shouted. "Josh! It's not your fault!"

Josh's eyes fluttered. "It is, Tyler."

Tyler started shrieking as Josh wouldn't respond.

He shuddered at the dream.

He remembered seeing Josh for the first time, in the hospital bed.

The thick stitches running by his hairline, his arm in a sling and his leg in a brace.

Maybe that's what it was about, maybe Josh was blaming himself for the whole accident.

But the treehouse.

They both were in the treehouse.

Tyler's head started to ache.

How did Josh know about the treehouse? Obviously the both of them had been there plenty of times before. Is that how they met? In the treehouse?

Tyler gasped.

Josh. The treehouse. The rain, his sickness.

Tires, light.

Red. Red, a lot of it.

It was all falling in place.

Tyler shook and got dizzy, the memories rushing back at him.

He met Josh in the treehouse. Since then, they had met there and eventually they had grown so close together. Josh became his boyfriend, they spent many nights together. Tyler got sick and on their way to the hospital, someone ran in to them because of the thick rain that no one could see through.

He shuddered, remembering Josh's lifeless frame slumped over the steering wheel.

He remembered screaming his name until everything went black.

Everything was spinning around Tyler. He looked up and out of the window, Josh standing there, concern on his face and his rain soaked hair in his eyes.

"Josh!" Tyler shrieked, and everything went black.
