"I-invite him? I'm not sure if that's necessary." You say nervously, as you got up and made your way over to the couch, Suna following diligently behind you.

Things with Teru had been worse than usual lately, and you really didn't want to bring your personal drama into someone else's household, especially the one that you had to work in.

He grabbed a blanket from off of the chair and gently draped it over your legs as he sat down next to you. You smiled at the kind gesture, as you thanked him, continuing to sip on the rest of your tea.

"How long have you two been together?" He asked curiously, stroking the top of his mug delicately with the tip of his finger.

You hesitated a moment, giving out a small sigh.

"Come on. I'm just makin' small talk. Trying to get to know you better." He smirked, scooting himself a bit closer towards you.

"Two years." You finally answered. You didn't really care to elaborate anymore than that.

"Hm, so, it's pretty serious then?"

You didn't even realize how close he had gotten to you until you could literally feel his body heat radiating against you. His arm is draped over the head of the couch while he rests his chin in the palm of his hand, nearly inches away from your face.

He looks so much more handsome up close, if it was even possible for him to look more beautiful than he already did before. Your eyes subconsciously flutter to his lips that are perched with a subtle smirk.

He knows exactly what he's doing, and so do you. You aren't oblivious to it.

"Are you coming on to me, Mr. Suna?"  You ask, one of your eyebrows cocked with curiosity.

"Maybe." He responds, his smirk disappearing as his tone turns serious. "What if I am?"

He watches your face carefully as he waits for your response. Maybe he shouldn't have said such a thing, but at this point he was tired of caring. Fighting such desires was a hassle, and for Suna Rin, it was just extra effort that he didn't feel like making.

For you, on the other hand, fighting your own desire was something that wasn't only important but absolutely necessary. There were so many things wrong with this situation, all of which can only end badly.

"We really should keep things professional, sir." You retort, and you honestly meant every word of it, but you found your body subconsciously leaning in anyways.

"Sir? I really like the sound of that." He coos, your lips now mere centimeters away from meeting.

It almost happens. You swear, if it wasn't for one very last minute realization, you would have let him kiss you.

"I think you've had enough fun for the night." You said sternly, quickly backing away.

"Wasn't really that fun, to be honest." He shrugs, slumping back into the couch. "I didn't  even cum."

Your eyes widened at his confession, shocked that he even spoke so freely about it in the first place. He must still be feeling the effects of the alcohol, otherwise you were sure he wouldn't be so open with you.

"Weeeeelllll, on that note, I'm going to try to get atleast a couple hours of sleep before the kids wake up." You say, quickly getting up from the couch as you straightened out your clothing and head into the kitchen to put away your dish.

"I'm serious, invite him over." He says once more, glossing over your words in a commanding tone, rather than just asking.

"I'll consider it." You respond, as you tread up the stairs, leaving Suna alone on the couch to soak up everything that had just happened. It was late, he was tired and still craving his release that was long over due, yet he couldn't help but to smile.

For once, in a very long time, it was genuine.

Waking up about three hours later was exhausting, to say the least. The fact that you even got that much sleep in was a miracle. You headed down stairs to make the breakfast. This time, something simple and easy since you quite frankly just didn't have the energy to go all out.

You took a peek into the living room, finding Suna's tall figure spread out across the couch, his long legs hanging over the arm rest as they dangled almost down to the floor. He was fast asleep, snoring a bit loudly into the cushions.

You let out a breathy laugh, quietly to not disturb the sleeping giant. Returning to the kitchen, you finished your work just in time for Reiki to come down the stairs.

"Good morning Ki!" You called out cheerfully, motioning him over to the stove where you were starting to crack some eggs.

"I'm making omurice, would you like to help?"

"No."

You smirk, chuckling to yourself as you already expected this to be his answer. Doesn't hurt to try though, right? You send him off, telling him that breakfast will be ready soon and to go wake his sister up.

He groans, but does it anyways, shuffling his sleepy feet out of the kitchen. He makes a pit stop into the living room to grab his tablet from off the end table, when he spots his father knocked out, mouth wide open as drool runs down the side of his mouth.

He snickers to himself, having sparked a wonderful idea on how to prank his unsuspecting victim.

Picking up a black marker from his crafts box, he draws a twirly mustache just above his father's lips, and a pair of thick, round glasses around his eyes.

Ah yes, what a masterpiece.

Just one final touch- 'Poop hed' written across his forehead in a messy scribble. Thank god his dad slept like a rock.

Like the true Suna he is, Reiki takes his tablet out and starts snapping extremely embarrassing pictures of his father's brand new makeover. Maybe he'll put the results on Tiktok later? His 5 followers needed to see this- they would love it, no doubt.

First, he would send it to Uncle Tsumu, though. Yeah, he would be proud.

Reiki scurries away to complete the task you had given him, disappearing up the stairs and into Reiko's room. You set the table, everyone's meal splayed out neatly and ready to be consumed. You walk into the living room to wake up Rin, or atleast ask if he'd like to eat now or later. He did have a long night, so you expected him to be pretty tired.

What you didn't expect, was to see his face scribbled all over with black marker, twirly mustache and all. You shouldn't have laughed, really, but it was just too funny. You immediately knew who the culprit was, of course. You had to applaud the boy's efforts, even if you shouldn't encourage his behavior.

You tapped his arm, lightly, but after no avail you pushed a little harder. His eyes finally sprung open, and you couldn't help but snort at how much funnier he looked now that he was awake.

"Good morning, poop head." You say between chuckles, barely managing to hold in your laughter.

His brows furrow, confused as to why the fuck you just called him that? You noticed his confusion, and gestured over to the ground floor bathroom.

"You should take a look in the mirror." You teased.

Still utterly confused, he walks into the bathroom, almost startling himself when he catches a glance in the mirror. He rubs his makeshift mustache, accompanied by a deep sigh.

Reiki.

He bolts out of the bathroom and up the stairs, shouting "I'm gonna kick your ass, you little shit!"

You hear the excited squeals of the Suna boy, followed by uncontrollable laughter belonging to both of his kids. You peer up the stairs, as you watch Rin pick his son up and twirl him around, pretending to body slam him into the bed. All three of them laugh as the twins double team their father, climbing and jumping all over him.

It makes you smile, almost giving you butterflies in your stomach.

Despite not having their mother around, the kids seem fairly happy. That's more than you could say for your own childhood, having both of your parents in your household but neither of them barely giving you the time of day.

You would have loved to play with your father like this when you were young. Even him being in the same room as you was a rare privilege that you barely were able to indulge in.

Suna Rintarou was a little strange and a whole lot difficult, but he was a great father. That was most important.

While you waited for the brood to come downstairs, you decided to give Yuji a call. You supposed that one dinner couldn't hurt. You didn't want to make it painfully obvious that there were problems in your relationship, so you figured it was best to just pretend, and get the introductions over with.

After a few rings, your boyfriend answers the phone.

"Hey baby! What's up?" He says, seeming rather cheerful this morning.

"I was wondering if you'd like to come over to the house for dinner. The family I work for wants to meet you." You force it out, not sure if you're really even wanting to see him tonight.

"Oh, yeah? That sounds great baby! I'd love to." He responds, a bit more hushed this time, like he was trying to keep his voice down.

"Are you at work right now?" You ask, suspicious of his sudden change of tone.

"Yeah, sorry love. Can't really talk right now, but I can't wait to see you tonight. Text me the details! Love you so much, baby. I miss you."

"Miss you too, Yuji."

You hang up the phone, slipping it into the pocket of your hoodie and making your way to the table. Something definitely felt off. Even at work, Yuji usually wouldn't hesitate to talk your ear off until his manager had to come and yell at him to get back on the floor.

You were honestly dreading this evening. Having Suna meet your boyfriend, especially after he heard that embarrassing conversation on the night of your arrival... well that was reason alone for you to want to crawl in a whole and die.

Oh,

But if only you knew exactly how much of a disaster it would really turn out to be.
