01:58, 12 January 2022"You just need to get some pussy."
Atsumu Miya cooed at his seriously stressed out friend, Rintarou Suna, as he chugged down the last bit of his beer. The two had been catching up for old time's sake, since they both had been busy with volleyball lately and hadn't had much time to hang out.
Rin shot him a piercing glare, his fox-like gaze burning a hole into the faux blonde's soul. He took a sip of his drink in frustration before turning back to the conversation at hand.
"It's not like I would even have time for that." He groaned. "Between practice, games and the kids, I have almost no free time. It's a miracle that I'm even out here with you now."
"Ah yeah, speaking of kids, how are the little semen demons?" Atsumu chuckled, tapping his hand on the counter of the bar, signaling to the bartender that he wanted another.
"They're fine...well, Reiko is atleast. Reiki's been acting out at school and giving me attitude at home. I just don't know what to do." He runs his hand through his dark locks out of frustration.
"You think it's because of the bitch?"
Rintarou cringes at Atsumu's choice of nickname for his ex-wife, but he's not entirely wrong about it either.
"Probably. I'm not really sure." He hesitantly agrees. "I just need some help. I can't do this by myself, I can barely catch my breath."
"You should drop them off at her doorstep, like 'ding-dong bitch, here's your kids' and then run away. Then she'll have no choice but to keep 'em." He says this as a joke, well...mostly.
"I'd never even think about doing that. I can't trust her with them. Not after she just abandoned us last year." He responds, his mood shifting as he looks down at the empty glass in his hands.
"Can't you like hire a babysitter, or a nanny 'er somethin' ?" Atsumu cocks his brow as he offers his best big brain idea. "Ya know, get some old hag to take care of the kids for you when you need a break."
Rin opens his mouth to protest, but then he stops to think about it some more. Maybe the dumbass did have a point. Hiring someone to help take care of his twins while he was busy with work would take a tremendous load off his back.
"I'll think on it." He says, as he gets up, dropping a small stack of money onto the counter. "I gotta go pick up the kids from Osamu's before it gets too late."
He picks up his jacket, swinging it over his shoulder as he grabs his keys out of his pocket.
"Ya know, I wouldn't mind watching your kids too sometimes, if I'm available." Atsumu calls out just before Rin could walk out the door. Suna laughs, raising his brows with a soft smirk on his usually stoic face.
"Yeah, right. Like I'd ever let you watch my kids again. Not after what happened last time." He responds, as he remembers how his son and daughter were both bribed into helping their uncle 'Tsumu score phone numbers from some of the local milfs at the park.
"What? It's not my fault your kids are milf magnets." He retorts, grinning widely. He got some of the best coochie of his life that night, all thanks to the Suna twins.
"Twins are guaranteed to grab attention, I would know." He continued, still sporting that idiotic smirk as he sloppily ran his fingers through his hair.
Suna, having heard quite enough of his friend's nonsense, turns towards the door once more as he shoots him a quick wave. He's ready to get home and finally relax a bit before starting his daily routine all over again once morning rolls around.
He sighs, getting into his car as he buries his face into his hands. He needed to do something, anything, to help manage his messy life. Maybe he would look into Atsumu's suggestion. Even if it meant having some stranger take care of his kids, it was better than trying to manage it all on his own.
The exhausted father quietly carried his sleeping children up the stairs and tucked them neatly into their beds. He gave them each a kiss on the forehead before he turned out the light, walking out of the room and shutting the door behind him.
His kids were the best thing that ever happened to him, but he couldn't help but feel sad sometimes when he looked at them. They were a constant reminder of his past. They were a reminder of her.
For the past year, Suna had been juggling two kids, his volleyball career and his heartache all alone. Sure, his friends and family were there to help when they could, but he didn't want to be a bother. This was his mess to handle, and the stress of it all was really taking a toll on his mental health.
Atsumu's ideas were usually idiotic and far fetched, but this one actually seemed... feasible? Hiring a nanny to help around the house with the kids would really help take away some of the tremendous stress he was under.
He opened his lap top and searched for a caretaker hiring service. He spent several hours browsing the web, until he found a five star website that specialized in providing excellent nanny services for just about anything you would need.... Pets, elderly care, child care, etc.
He sent a detailed email, explaining what he was looking for and what type of services he needed. He wanted someone who would cook, clean and take care of his children while his busy volleyball schedule commenced. Satisfied with his statement, he shut the laptop and set it back down on his nightstand.
Hopefully, this would be the answer to some of his troubles. It wouldn't solve everything, though.
There was absolutely nothing that would heal the gaping hole in his heart that his ex wife left behind when she decided to run off with another man.
There was absolutely nothing that would fix the pain his kids felt whenever their mother didn't show up again, after she promised for the millionth time that she would finally come spend some time with them.
No, nothing could help any of that. Nothing at all.
Or...so he thought.
