Chapter Four: Percy

Arachnes cackle echoed through the pit. "I have orders to bring you alive. But I'm sure Gaea would understand if you were brought dead. She just wants the best blood spilt to let her rise but she might take your little friends on that ship." Arachne got closer, so close that Percy could smell her breath. Let's just say living underground with no breath mints can be really bad smelling. "Don't worry your death will be very slow and painful you will watch the other die." she smiled. After that everything happened so quickly that Percy didnt have the time to process it all. Arachne had tried to attack Annabeth and Percy got in the way. All he could remember was Annabeth screaming him screaming and another scream that sounded just like Pipers. Black spots started in his eyes as he watched Arachne turn and jump into an open space. The black spots got bigger until they took up his entire vision. Percy struggled to breathe until he blacked out.

Once he woke up he thought he was hallucinating he was in a very dark room hanging upside down. Tartarus. Annabeth. Where was Annabeth? He couldn't scream out because webbing was covering his mouth he couldnt move his arm which he had put in between Annabeth and Arachne. But his other arm he could and his other arm was closer to riptide his pen/sword. Percy struggled to reach his pocket and finally grabbed hold of his pen. As soon as he clicked his pen it cut through the webbing dropping him ten feet to the ground. He ripped the webs away from his mouth and looked around. He heard footsteps and risked calling Annabeths name "Annabeth?" "No, she is busy right now. But I'm here!" said the annoying voice of Arachne. "What did you do with her? Here is she? Annabeth!" Percy scowled his anger welling up inside him. "You know what? I am sick of being separated from her. When can I make my own desions? We just found each other and now we are stuck here with a spider freak!" Percy stupidly let his anger get the best of him. Arachne smiled and the floor started moving Percy felt like he was sinking. Little spiders were layering the floor. Just before the spiders consumed all of Percy's vision "Who is a stupid spider?" Percy started panicking trying to breathe. "Percy! Wake up!" Percy opened his eyes to look into Annabeths grey eyes. "You knocked out and then started to scream in your sleep." He turned his head trying not to look embarrassed. "Don't be embarrassed seaweed brain it was just the venom." Percy still couldn't help feeling slightly embarrassed.

I finished a chapter! At 11 at night so don't complain if it's bad!
