Serious Stone

Hey all! Here's another extract written by Kayla! I have not edited or added to it but I may do in a future chapter :)

I placed the bin bag inside of the bin before I sagged my shoulders and released a breath. I placed a hand on my back and stretched forwards.

"Mommy, can you get me something to eat?"One of my boys called from upstairs, whoexpected eight meals a day like their father.

I shouted my response and began to walk into the pantry to fetch some food for my hungry little gremlins. My trip to the cupboard of food was quickly interrupted by a hard muscled chest.

My six foot seven rock hard and rippling beast of a husband had returned from work and his dark obsidian eyes were set down on me.

I craned my neck upwards and gave the love of my life a grin but I was met by a furious frown and a glowering glare.

"Are you not happy to see me?" I tutted as my grin grew.

"You work too hard, baby." He growled out, his hot breath fanning on my face from above "Every fibre of my being hates see you this exhausted."

My grin dropped. I shuffled to the side of husband and peered into the oven door to see my reflection. My messy bun and sweaty face was not the best look but I did not look that bad.

Stone let out another growl as he caught my wrist in his hand and pulled back to him "You are always enchanting, Medusa."

I felt my face heat up so I turned away from him.

"I hate being at work while you are here. I thinkwe should hire someone to take care of the house so you can spend more time with the kids and have time to yourself."

"A maid? No. No way." I bit the inside of my cheek and said with a serious face "I have seen enough tv dramas to know how that will end up."

His dark eyebrows furrowed as he cocked hishead to the side.

I rolled my eyes before I giggled "You will start sleeping with her and then you will fall in love and leave me and have another two point five kids."

The giant towering over me began to shake. His shoulders moved up and down rapidly and a series of grumbling thunderous noises left his bulky chest.

He was not happy.

I put my hands up in surrender "I was iust joke—"

His large hands cupped my face and he held onto me tightly.
