chapter 14

Tris' POV

Dinner was so romantic and the restaurant was amazing. I love him so much, that still feels amazing, I am in love. It's a shame that the night has to finish. "so, I was thinking, as its still early, we could go for a walk?" he asked. "yeah, okay" I replied. I took his hand and we started walking, we ended up finiding a path and decided to follow it, we came to a clearing, the stars gave a small amount of light. I can see something hanging from the tree, I go to investigate when sudenly the air is filled with slow music and some fairy lights come on lighting a banner that says . "will you go to the dance with me?" I turn to Four. "YES FOUR OH MY GOD YES" I crash my lips on to his and it ends up being a makeout session. When we pull apart he looks at me seriously. "there's something I have to tell you." uh oh. "oh?" "my name, I need you to know who I am" I am confused, obviously I knew that Four wasn't his real name but why is it such a secret? "My name is Tobias Eaton" I gasp. "the mayor's son?!" he nods. "why don't you tell anyone" he turns away from me, takes off his blazer and pulls ap his shirt. He has scars covering his back, some old, some new. My poor Tobias. I carefully run my fingers over them, then I kiss a fairly new one on his neck, he winces slightly. "sorry, but did marcus do this to you?" he nods. "He says its for my own good" he replies. "Oh my god Tobias, what else has he done?" please tell me he doesn't hurt him more that this. "Sometimes if he gets drunk he throws empty bottles at me and ometimes he just punches me, but the worst is, he ,he killed my mother a-and I saw it" he's crying now, I turn him round and start to kiss him slowly and passionately. "Oh Tobias I'm so sorry" then I pull my self together, he doesn't strike me as someone who wants pity, I certainly hate it. "why aren't you looing at me like a kicked puppy?" he asks, I smile. "because you aren't one, anyone who can have gone through all of that and still be as amazing as you is strong, not weak and doesn't need pity" I reply "This is why i love you Tris, you understand me, we fit together so perfectly." he gives me a hug and then puts his blazer back on. "come on, its getting late we should head back." I nod. We walk back to where we parked the car and get in. He drives me back to my house. We sit and kiss in the car for a couple of minutes before I head inside. "I love you!" he calls. "I love you too" I reply. i unlock the front door and walk inside.
