SEONGJOONG (pt.1) ON HOLD
08:49, 18 December 2024This is the result of having listened to one too many mafia inspired playlists on Spotify, and imagining Seonghwa in leather gloves...Also an excuse to write Sa(ta)n because that boy is crazy!
NOTICE: I used the name Chris in this fic, as in Chris from Stray Kids. The original plot I made just used Chris as a random name, but as I started writing, I realized it would make more sense if it was him. Just thought I should let you guys know so there isn't any confusion.

I'm coming home
Don't wait up for me

"Come on Alpha, where are you?"
Hongjoong whispered to himself quietly, his voice seeming too loud in the empty house. The crackling fire in front of him did nothing to drown out the suffocating silence, seeming to only make it worse.
His tucked his feet underneath himself neatly. He burrowed his nose into the thick material of the expensive cashmere blanket wrapped around him, a shiver running through his body.
He was sat in the dark of their living room by himself, scrunched into the corner of a large reading chair. His body was surrounded by endless amounts of blankets that smelled heavily of his Alpha.
The familiar scent calmed the anxious Omega as he waited for his husband. His phone sat idly in his hand as he stared at the messages sent two hours ago, eyes fleeting to the clock that hung above their mantle.
12:38
He felt his breath catch as he looked up at the numbers, teeth worrying his bottom lip unconsciously.

I'm coming home
Don't wait up for me
Sent 2 Hours Ago
Chris where are you?
I'm worried
His fingers shook as he sent the message, anxiously waiting for a reply.
He usually never stayed up this late for his Alpha, often going to bed before he even came home. Although, his husband had never stayed at the office for this long. Even if he had an important meeting with higher-ups, he always made it a goal to come back home before seven. So, it was definitely a little concerning when it was past twelve and he still hadn't made it back.
He'd come back, right?
He always did.
But what if he doesn't?
An ugly voice sneered in the back of the Omega's head, bringing forth all the insecurities he had pushed down, hoping to never see them surface again. Sure, they had been betrothed to each other at an early age, but Hongjoong was certain his Alpha loved him. Why else would he allow him to stay, marry, and bare his pup? If he didn't have any feelings for him, surely he would have already been gone by now...right?
What if it was all a lie though?
What if he had another Omega on the side, a mistress of sorts. A beautiful wolf who did anything and everything he wanted, who listened to his every command.
Yeah maybe Hongjoong wasn't the definition of a perfect Omega, but he was pretty damn close. He was everything an Alpha could want; small, pretty, and capable of carrying pups. What else could you need?
Maybe it was the fact that he actually stood up for himself and didn't listen to anyone's shit.Or that he was no longer attractive now that he had gained some weight from being pre-
A loud buzz sounded through the quiet room, startling the Omega out of his stupor as he looked at the lock screen of his phone where one single notification appeared.

I'm on my way
He let out a sigh of relief as he read his husband's message, his rapid heart rate finally slowing down.
His Alpha was coming back!
Deflating into the soft leather cushions behind him, Hongjoong made himself comfortable in his nest of blankets as he awaited for the arrival of his Alpha. A content purr rumbled in the back of his throat.
A nudge against his palm caught his attention as he removed the soft blanket wrapped around him, showcasing his large belly that safely held his nine-month-old son inside.
He smiled tenderly as he could see his tanned skin, taunt and glowing with pregnancy, move underneath the sheer white silk of his nightgown. His pup was stretching, little hand and foot imprints popping out against his tummy.
He pushed the thin fabric up above his bump, breath hitching as the chilly night air touched his exposed skin, only being clad in a soft pair of cotton underwear underneath. He smoothed his hands over the rounded surface, lightly tracing his small stretch marks as he soothed the pup inside.
"Daddy will be home soon, Lixie."
Settling himself onto his side, Hongjoong curled up his legs as he snuggled into his makeshift nest, still mindlessly tracing along his bare abdomen. His gaze stayed fixated on the set of double doors in front of him, patiently waiting for his husband's suit clad form to walk through them. His eyes drooped with exhaustion.
Although, another hour seemingly past before he heard the click of a lock, his eyes shut tiredly as he dozed lightly.
His eyelids fluttered slightly as he listened to the sound of shoes enter the house, mouth twitching up into a smile as he listened to the male attempt to quietly shut the door behind him.
Yawning, he sat himself up slowly, running a hand through his unruly blonde locks, mind still clouded with tiredness. He stretched his arms above his head, sighing softly as his back cracked at the movement.
"Welcome back, Alpha."
He called softly, small hands clumsily rubbing the sleep from his eyes as he waited for the warm press of his husband's lips as he stole a welcome home kiss from him.
It never came.
"Chris-"
Hongjoong's voice cut off as his eyes caught sight of two figures stood motionless in his threshold, their lithe forms completely covered from head to toe in pitch black. Masks covered the lower half of their faces, but their dangerous eyes burned brightly in the dim light of the room; pale blue and dark brown.
They seemed to be the same size, but the slightly taller one stepped forward. Their steps were measured, confident as their combat boots slapped against the floor loudly. The Omega felt himself subconsciously sink further back into the chair as the figure neared him; like a wolf stalking it's prey.
They approached Hongjoong until they were stood about a foot away from him, their daunting presence looming over the small Omega's quivering form. They smoothly removed the mask hiding their identity, showcasing what was hidden underneath the dark fabric.
From this close Hongjoong could take in their features better, scared to find out that it was in fact a young male that stood in front of him. His dark hair appeared black, but as the light of the fire reflected off of it, he could see that it was instead a deep shade of violet. A few strands fell into his eyes, having escaped from the neat swoops of his gelled locks. His face was devilishly handsome, all sharp angles and tanned skin. His teeth were blindingly white, canines sharp as his mouth spread into a wolffish smile, deep dimples popping out on either sides of his face.
Although, what intrigued the Omega the most about the male's features were his eyes. They were hauntingly beautiful. One so dark it looked almost black, shining mischievously in the low light. While the other was a milky white, the iris practically hidden behind the foggy color. A long jagged scar ran down the pale eye, starting from his hair line and cutting across his cheekbone all the way down to the bottom of his lip. He could see the raised tissue stretch across the thin skin of his eyelid, hindering it useless. It made him look dangerous.
He was dangerous.
"Well well well...if it isn't the infamous Lucky. We've been searching for you everywhere, sweetheart..."
Hongjoong's heart pounded in his ears at the male's deep voice, tone dripping with sweetness as he addressed the Omega.
He hadn't heard that nickname in years.
"And would you look at that, you came with a surprise. How fun!"
The man smiled brightly at him, white teeth and deep dimples on full display. If it was any other situation then this exact one, he would have found the male's excitement cute. However, he could see the way his eyes hungrily took in his rounded stomach, gaze slowly traveling down lower then Hongjoong appreciated.
A small growl rumbled in his throat at the intruder's words, arms coming to wrap around his swollen middle as his soft floral scent turned sour. Hatred burned in his gaze as his eyes bore into the male's, gnashing his teeth threateningly.
Almost as if he flipped a switch, the man's smile dropped. His face hardened as his eyes turned into narrow slits, mouth set in a firm line.
"Grab him."
A blur of movement caught his eye before he felt hands wrap around him, swiftly detaining and bringing him to the floor. His knees landed harshly against the cold wood, teeth gritted together as he fought back a cry of pain. He knew it was the other person that came along with the male that had grabbed him, their strong arms incasing him against their body.
"You should tie his hands behind his back, so that pretty stomach of his can be on display."
Hongjoong couldn't hold back the small whimper that slipped past his lips at the man's cruel comment, subconsciously curling into himself as he tried to protect his bloated abdomen. He weakly fought against the hands that restrained his own behind his back, his attempt fruitless.
The figure behind him growled loudly at their partner's remark. The vibrations were deep enough that it could only be another male that held the small Omega within his grasp.
"I'm kidding...Geez Logan, take a joke."
The violet haired male held his hands up in mock surrender, eyes feigning innocence as if he wasn't aware of what he just said.
The male, supposedly named Logan, said nothing as he ignored the other man, moving himself so he kneeled in front of Hongjoong. His glove-clad hands deftly tied a strip of thick fabric around his wrist in a series of intricate knots, his movements practiced as he looped the material around his hands.
So much for escaping.
From this angle, Hongjoong could properly take a look at the man crouched in front of him.
He was equally as beautiful as the first male, if not more. Waves of pale blonde hair cascaded down his porcelain skin, stopping just above his shoulders. His eyes were a pale blue that contrasted strikingly with his fair complexion and locks, the irises intense and icy. He also had removed his mask, revealing a pair of petal pink lips and a modelesque nose, his face petite and jaw chiseled. Although, just like the violet haired man, he too had his own set of imperfections that only seemed to enhance his own natural beauty.
He had a series of small patches that spread all along the side of his face and neck, the skin there red and uneven. They seemed to be burn marks, possibly cigarette burns based off the circular uniformity of each blemish. The largest of them all began at the top of his left cheekbone and stretched over to the corner of his eye.
He was really pretty.
He startled slightly as the male's gaze turned up towards him, seemingly catching him staring. A blush rose up his face and settled into his cheeks as he averted his eyes, settling them onto the violet haired man stood behind him. He seemed to be on the phone with someone, but quickly smirked as he noticed the Omega observing him.
"Like what you see, Blondie? Sorry to inform you but I'm off the market."
He moved down the high collar of his shirt, showcasing a dark mating bite. Hongjoong frowned at that, eliciting a wide smile from the man as he came to kneel in front of him, taking Logan's spot.
"Aw, is the little Omega jealous? How cute."
He had that cheshire grin on his face, the one that looked innocent, but was really tinged in venom.
"Also, I forgot to mention this, but thanks for helping us out, babe. You made our job really easy."
Hongjoong's eyebrows furrowed in confusion at that, the man's voice nonchalant and uncaring.
"H-how-"
A cellphone was dangled in front of his eyes, the screen bright as it showed a series of text messages, all seemingly sent by him.
It was his mate's phone.
"W-where did you get that?"
He could feel his heart begin to race in his chest, a lump forming in his throat as the violet haired male continued to smile at him condescendingly.
"A little birdie by the name of Chris gave it to me, said he didn't need it anymore."
Hongjoong's heart broke at that, willing himself not to cry at the mention of his husband, mouth set into a firm line.
Did he abandon him?
"Sad, isn't it? That Alpha of yours left you here like bait for us, unsuspecting and unarmed."
The man whispered into his ear, voice sharp like a knife as his words cut into his brain. He had moved to stand behind the Omega, hands placed uncomfortably onto his shoulders as he talked to him, hot breath brushing against his cold skin.
"All we had to do was wait for you to get worried and then bingo, we found your location."
A sharp nip to his earlobe had Hongjoong tensing in his hold.
"And with one quick little text to think it was your Alpha coming home, here we are."
Hongjoong could feel his eyes well up at the realization, hot tears streaming down his cheeks as he listened to the male behind him.
He's husband had never sent that text.
"Aw honey, don't cry. Your Alpha wouldn't want that now would he?"
Rough fingers brushed against his cheeks as tears continued to fall, purple hair invading his vision as the man stood in front of him. A hand gripped his chin as his face was turned from side to side, his gaze blank as he stared forward.
"Why you sure are a pretty little thing."
Hongjoong could feel his anger grow as the man continued to look over his face, snapping at the fingers that held his jaw, a growl rumbling in his chest.
"A feisty one too"
He smirked at that, dropping his hands to his sides.
"I can't believe your Alpha left you here all alone. What with your small frame and soft edges, I bet you had every wolf drooling for you around the block."
The man walked around him, eyes hungry as he circled his prey, tongue darting out to lick his lips.
"Especially with that round ass and those perfect birthing hips-"
"Howl!"
Logan growled, shocking the pair as he finally spoke. His voice was deep, tone smooth and nice to listen to. It didn't match with his face at all, but Hongjoong liked it that way; it made him more unique.
"What? I'm just ruffing him up a bit, no harm in that right?"
Howl (the name definitely fit him) stepped back at the man's harsh tone, eyebrows and mouth raised jokingly.
"I don't think Boss would like you messing with his Omega like that..."
Logan's tone was stern as he came to grab Hongjoong under the arms, lifting him up to his feet.
"You know how he gets possessive over things that are his."
Howl instantly backed down at that, imaginary tail tucked between his legs as he retreated. Logan guided the Omega to the large sectional that sat in the middle of the room, placing him there before seating himself on the coffee table in front of it, his eyes never leaving the smaller's.
"Now go get your damn dog and finish the job. Stop wasting our time."
Logan barked out harshly, his eyebrows furrowed in annoyance as Howl threw him a quick salute, a high pitched whistle leaving from in between his lips.
"Shiber!"
A large mass moved from within the shadows, the fire's light reflecting off it's pitch black fur to reveal a German Shepard. It's amber eyes glinted sinisterly as it walked up to its owner's side, standing beside him obediently, his shoulders coming up to Howl's hip.
Hongjoong quivered as he saw the lines of lean muscle shift underneath the dog's thick coat, the blood red harness wrapped around his body making him seem all the more intimidating.
Howl left the canine's side as he once again approached the Omega, kneeling before him calmly as a growl rumbled in Logan's throat; warning him.
"Hey honey, where's that Alpha of your's safe? I believe he owes us some money."
He had that sugar sweet smile on his face again, eyes scrunching up into thin crescents. Hongjoong could only stare at him blankly as his mind tried to process what was being said.
His husband owed them money?
"I d-don-"
"Nope, wrong answer sweetheart. I'll give you one more chance to answer correctly though."
Hongjoong swallowed thickly as the male interrupted him, his grin slowly becoming more forced with each passing second, white teeth and dark eyes glinting dauntingly.
"Master bedroom closet. Hidden behind the row of suit jackets."
The words were rushed, all said in one breath, but Howl seemed to understand. His features instantly became sweet once again as he received an answer.
"Thank you, Sugar! Now that wasn't so hard, was it?"
He pet the Omega's hair in mock praise, ignoring the burning glare the smaller sent him as he approached his dog. Howl's hand smoothly gripped the handle along the Shepherd's back, the dog confidently guiding him down the hall with a quick command, noise quivering as he sniffed the floor intently.
Hongjoong let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as the man finally disappeared, laying back into the soft cushion of the couch behind him. Logan still sat perched on the coffee table, hands nimbly twirling a small butterfly knife between his fingers; the blade shining with the light of the dying fire behind him. The Omega watched with rapt attention, eyes never leaving the weapon.
"Am I gonna die?"
Logan's movements halted at his small voice, pale blue eyes shifting upwards as he gazed at Hongjoong, features seeming to soften.
"No."
His answer was short; clipped even, but Hongjoong was sure he could still detect a hint of sympathy in the male's deep timbre.
A comfortable silence fell around them, the crackling of flames being the only thing to fill the air. Hongjoong was surprised to find that he wasn't scared of the man before him. He knew he was dangerous and shouldn't be trusted, but something about him calmed the small male. His existence extruded an air of peace, a bubble of warmth that wrapped around him like a thick blanket that couldn't be escaped.
Like the presence of another Omega.
Hongjoong eyes widened at the thought, quickly focusing on the male before him. Logan was still perched on the coffee table, blue eyes downcast as his long fingers still fiddled with the sharp blade; unaware of the Omega observing him.
He had petite feminine features. A slight frame. His demeanor wasn't threatening, nor was he too rough when he had handle him before; choosing rather to make sure he was comfortable after tying his hands.
He just had to be an Omega.
He knew the pairs' scents were blocked. He had seen the side of the white patch when Howl moved his collar down to reveal his mating bite; covering his scent glands. Although, it wasn't too hard to determine each of their sub genders just based off their personalities and looks.
He knew Howl had to be an Alpha. His presence screamed dominance and power, his tone was confident; certain. Not only that, but his physical physique signified that of an Alpha sub gender. He may be on the shorter side and not as bulky as what is considered normal, but he was strong. Hongjoong could see the hard 6-pack ripple underneath his clothing; defined biceps paired with wide shoulders.
Definitely an Alpha.
Logan was a little bit harder to place. Although he shared many attributes with an Omega, he could very well also be a Beta due to his unbothered nature.
If only he knew his scent.
He continued to observe the small male sat in front of him, eyes searching for something, anything that could give away the other's status. He found himself growing frantic as he heard movement further within the silent house, Howl's muffled voice passing through the walls.
He was running out of time.
His eyes quickly flicked back over to Logan as he watched with rapt attention as the male's fingers slowly lost coordination, the small butterfly knife eventually flinging out of his hands and onto the floor behind him. With an annoyed huff, Logan pushed himself up onto his feet, walking around the coffee table to pick up the thrown blade.
There!
Just as he bent down to pick up the small knife, he caught sight of his final clue on the male's abdomen, the faint glow of the fire behind him highlighting the familiar curve of it. There was no denying the soft pouch of fat Hongjoong could see on the male's slim body. No type of workout or diet could ever get rid of the small mound; having known from personal experiences. The distended area protected the uterus, where a pup could safely form and grow.
It was the sign of an Omega.
He felt his heart flutter with hope as he put the final pieces together, trying desperately to keep his scent from spiking in excitement as to not notify the other Omega of his recent discovery.
He kept quiet as he watched the blonde reclaim his place in front of him, resuming his previous activities as he began to flick the knife between his slim fingers once again, head ducked down in concentration.
Hongjoong eyed the sliver of skin that peaked out from underneath Logan's collar as the male looked down at his hands, the ends of his pale hair nearly covering the porcelain skin. His bound hands twitched to reach out and grab it, knowing that it was his only chance of escaping.
The back of an Omega's neck was super sensitive, being the most vulnerable spot on their body because it contained their scent glands. In moments of distress, it is common for an Alpha or another Omega to grab the back of an Omega's neck as a way to calm them down. The pressure applied allows an individual to relax, and seemingly become limp; turning them immobile.
Logan's head was ducked down, if Hongjoong could just somehow grab it, maybe with his teeth, he could easily paralyze the other male.
He could escape.
He carefully maneuvered himself towards the edge of the couch, making sure to be as quiet as possibly as to not alert the Omega before him. He continued to wiggle his way down, leaning his upper body towards the male's bent form as he bared his teeth.
If he could just-
"Woah little mouse! What do you think you're doing?"
Long fingers easily wrapped around his throat, applying slight pressure to the clammy skin. Hongjoong gulped, stilling as Howl seemingly threatened to use the same trick on him as he was going to on Logan; the mere touch to his exposed nape quickly halting his movements.
One squeeze and he would be out.
"Looks like he caught onto you real quick, Logan. Shortie's a lot smarter then he looks, huh?"
Howl's fingers slowly unraveled themselves from around his throat, allowing him to gasp for air as he slumped against the couch's cushions, seemingly devoid of all energy from the Alpha's short touch.
"Shut up!"
Logan growled in annoyance as he quickly stood up from his spot; pocketing the knife in his hands as he grabbed a bag from Howl's grasp, Hongjoong not having noticed it before the Alpha left. He hastily threw it down onto the spot where he once sat; opening it.
Hongjoong watched with tired eyes as the Omega unzipped it, roughly rummaging through the contents inside as he pulled out a few items. He perked up as he caught a strong whiff of his own floral scent, freezing as he noticed Logan pulling out a small baby blanket before hurriedly stuffing it back inside. That blanket had originally been placed in the wooden bassinet that sat by his bedside...which was inside his room.
"W-why do you have my stuff?"
Logan remained quiet as he zipped up the duffel bag, apparently finished with his inspection as he handed it to Howl. The Alpha causally slung it across his shoulder as he grabbed the back of Shiber's harness; the dog sat at his owner's feet.
The small Omega approached him, grabbing him underneath the arms as he pulled him from the couch. A hand wrapped around his bicep as he was roughly dragged towards the front doors, nearly tripping over his own feet as he attempted to keep up with the other's quick pace.
"Don't fucking touch me!"
He snapped as he jerked away from Logan's hold, crying out as he slipped free from the male's grip and fell back into the wall. He breath heavily as he glared at the mysterious pair before him, his instincts going crazy. He felt like a vulnerable rabbit stuck between two hungry wolves; mere prey that knew they couldn't escape from their captor's jaws, no matter what.
"Tell me me what the hell is going on! Why do you have my son's blanket?
"Jesus, you just never shut up, don't you?"
How snapped harshly, rolling his eyes as if this whole conversation was nothing but a mere annoyance to him.
"Listen Blondie, we thought you might like to bring along a few of your belongings before we left, since you know...you're never coming back."
"W-what?"
His heart froze as he realized what the Alpha was saying, blood running cold as he watched an unsettling grin spread across Howl's face. The scar on his face crinkled as his mismatched eyes glistened manically.
"Oh honey, did you think we were just gonna leave you here? Why else would we have come? You're coming home with us."
He chuckled darkly at the wave of fear that radiated from Hongjoong's body, casually grabbing the handle of the door as he pulled it open. Logan's hand gripped his bicep once again as he pulled him from the wall.
"Now enough of the chitchat, we don't have time for this bullshit. Logan get him to the car, Lyaah is waiting."
The Alpha disappeared threw the door with Shiber at his side, the pitch black of night engulfing his slender body. Only the slight sound of his feet slapping against concrete could be heard.
Hongjoong didn't hold back the whine that was rising up his throat as Logan pulled him through the door, shivering at the chilly September air that brushed against his exposed arms and legs.
He couldn't see as he walked, the area around him completely devoid of any lights. All he had to guide himself through the darkness was the Omega's hand around his arm; his bare feet stumbling over themselves as he was lead into the unknown.
He flinched as a deep rumble suddenly filled the night's silent air, feeling the low vibrations rumble underfoot. He squinted as a bright light suddenly invaded his vision, eyes widening as he realized it belonged to the headlights of a black Mercedes. The expensive car sat idly in the middle of the road, it's dark paint making it nearly impossible to spot.
He hesitated as Logan dragged him towards it, not wanting to get any closer to the mysterious car. He watched with battered breath as Howl opened the door, smoothly sliding into the vehicle's illuminated interior; Shiber jumping in as well.
He weakly fought against the hands that pushed him towards it, crying out as the Alpha inside grabbed him and pulled him in, clumsily falling into the plush leather seats. He couldn't stop the tears that immediately welled in his eyes as Logan climbed inside as well, closing the door behind him and locking it; the loud click finalizing his inevitable fate.
He was really being kidnapped.
Howl reached for his seatbelt as he pulled it across his body, securing him in between his two captors. He froze as a heavy head settled against his lap, glinting amber eyes staring up at him as Shiber rested against his thighs; seemingly keeping him in place.
"Are we ready to go?"
A deep voice sounded through the car, causing him to look up at a man with blood red hair that sat behind the wheel, his eyes flicking between Howl and Logan expectantly.
"Yes. I already called Mars, so he should be expecting our arrival."
Howl answered smoothly, face illuminated by the glow of an iPhone as he typed rapidly at the screen. Although, he quickly shut it before he could get a glance at the Alpha's messages.
The man in front of him merely hummed at that, causally shifting the car into drive as pulled out into the road, leaving Hongjoong's home behind them as he sped down the pavement.
An uncomfortable silence fell around them, the only sound being the soft purr of the Mercedes engine as it filled the tense air.
Hongjoong's breathed hitched as he felt a flurry of kicks press up against the inside of his abdomen, his son finally responding to the frantic beating of his heart. He soothed a comforting hand down the curve of his clothed bump, a relieved smile twitching at the corners of his lips as his pup's feet nudged against his palm, signaling that he was alright.
He almost didn't notice the hesitate fingers that gently patted at his shoulder, too caught up in the relief that filled his body as his son wiggled around inside him. He nearly startled as a familiar voice whispered into his ear, the deep tone catching him off guard.
"Get some rest. We have an hour drive before we arrive at the base."
His head quickly snapped over towards the Omega besides him, the moon's faint glow highlighting Logan's face. His sharp features held a hint of sympathy within their stoic mold as he stared back at him.
Hongjoong willed himself to settle back into the seat behind him, knowing that the Omega was probably right in the sense that he should get some sleep. Especially since he had spent the majority of the night awake, the clock on the car's frontal display reading 3:05 am.
He leaned his head back against the head rest, still smoothing a hand over his distended abdomen as he got comfortable, gradually melting into the vehicle's heated seats as he let the night's silence wash over him.
Hongjoong hesitantly closed his eyes, fatigue sat deep within his bones. The warmth of the car and the weight of Shiber's head in his lap lulled him to further relax. The kicking underneath his palm calmed his racing heart as it finally returned to a slow, rhythmic beat.
Cradling the bottom of his bump where he could feel his son settle, he allowed himself to succumb to a dreamless slumber; unaware of the looming hell he was about to enter. Who knew that within the next hour, all the seemingly forgotten memories of his past were soon to renter into his life.
Although for now, still peacefully unconscious to the outside world; only time would tell where his fate would inevitably lead him...
