Don't Trust A Stranger
05:50, 11 June 2021Yevhen skipped and jumped on his way to Rose's room, two muffins in his hand. He found the chocolate muffin so tasty that he decided to sneak past his sister and guards to share it with his special girlfriend, Rose who loves food.
He neared the room but stopped in his way and swiftly ducked behind a pillar. Rose was standing outside of her room and was talking to Tybalt. By her face, it was clear that she was displeased and hesitant about something.
"What are they doin'? Thould I go to her?" Yev thought. Then to his further confusement, Rose locked the door behind her and started following Tybalt to God knows where.
"Mhmm...Roth thould not go with a thranger. I will thave her from him." Muttering to himself, he started to follow the duo silently, the muffins still in his small chubby hands.

"Which side of the palace is this? I've never been here before." Rose asked as they kept walking to a deeper and darker part of the palace. "There are many places about which you don't know." Came Tybalt's reply.
Rose looked around. It was past midnight. No guards around. The surrounding was eerily silent. Something didn't feel right. On top of that, Rose was feeling sick. Her limbs felt heavy, her head was spinning and her knees were ready to give away.
She wanted to sleep but the reason she's here is much more important for her than her sleep.
"Where is Loki and Thor? You said they will be here already." She asked as they stopped near a room. Her heart skipped a few painful beats when Tybalt smirked. "They will surely come when the time's right. Till then why don't we talk?" He took a step towards her and she backed two steps.
"We will talk about the matter in the morning. I think we should go back. Good night Sir." Rose tried to walk past him but Tybalt grabbed her wrist. "Ah! Don't go. I've not yet started."
Rose snatched away her hand and gave him a murderous glare. Red alarms went out in her head, warning her of possible danger. "Don't you dare Tybalt. Learn to respect women. If you try to touch me again, there will be deadly consequences." She threatened, all the while focusing on her powers to teleport away.
But to her utter horror she found that she couldn't use her powers. She tried again but a strong wave of nauseousness washed over her, forcing her to stop. She staggered and clutched her head to stop it from spinning violently. "Wh-what is wrong with me!?" She wheezed.
Tybalt snickered. "Did you like the drink darling?"
It took Rose's fogged mind to realise what he has just said. Her brain went to a frenzy mode. This was planned! Oh God! No no no!
"Now..." Tybalt walked near her with a lopsided grin. "Can we talk?" Rose, without thinking, bolted away from him while he just stood at his spot with a bored look because he knew what would happen next.
Rose couldn't make it far. Her knees buckled under her weight as she hit the ground on her face, with a hard thud. She could hear the slowly approaching footsteps and tried to lift up her body but all she could muster was a pathetic cry which more or less a whimper.
Tybalt clicked his tongue and knelt down beside Rose's trembling sprawled figure. "I don't understand...how can someone be soo naive?" He brushed away the brown curls from her floor-planted face. "Didn't your mother teach you not to trust a stranger, huh?" He whispered. His breath reeked of alcohol and it took Rose all her effort not to gag on the spot.
"Oh sorry! I forgot that you're an orphan." He chuckled, his dilated pupils wild. "How can your whore of a mother teach you when she's already killed by your crazy father?"
Rose's eyes widened in shock. How the fuck does he know about this?!
She didn't get the time to ask her doubts for Tybalt had already grabbed a fistful of her hair and started to drag her to the room. Rose shrieked in pain as she kicked her legs in the air and swiped her extended claws at his hand to release his grip...but in vain.
And then suddenly, something flew and hit Tybalt's nose hard. "Ow! What the-" he looked down at his feet to find a half eaten muffin.
"Leave her you poophead!" Yevhen yelled, his fair face pink with fury.
Rose's gasped. "YEV! What are you doing here? Run away!" She screamed. Yev shook his head. "He ith hurting you! I am here to thave you." He retorted.
Tybalt scowled and unsheathed his sword from his side. "Do you want to die, you urchin?" Fear flashed in the child's face as he stared at the sharp glinting blade. Rose shook her head. "Please! Please I beg you! Don't hurt him!" She pleaded, clasping her hands.
"No evidence should be left behind." Tybalt said as he dropped her hair and started walking towards the trembling child.
"NOO! YEV RUN! RUN! RUN!" Rose screamed at the child. Tears rolled down his plump cheeks. "Roth!" He wailed as a stream of water flowed down from his pant. "Baby run! Please run!" Rose begged and the boy didn't waste any more seconds as he sprinted away in full speed.
Tybalt grunted as he watched the child running away. "I should kill that minx but I have to deal with you too. Dammit!" He trotted near her and slapped her hard across the face. Blood spurted out from her busted lips."He got away because of you! Bitch!"
He grabbed her hair again and pulled her up, dragging her behind him as they entered the room. He threw her across the floor like a ragdoll and she hit her head on the marbled floor.
"You fucking swine.... I thought-I thought you are good...but you are just like your sister..." Rose spat blood on the floor, her eyes flashing dark blue. Tybalt chuckled and closed the door. "I'm her brother afterall."
Rose readied her claws as Tybalt lazily neared her. "Listen girl... If you want to survive you have to listen to me." He undid his armour and placed it on the bed. A thin line of blood trickled down Rose's temple and lips and got mixed with sweat beads as she lifted up her shaking body from the cold hard ground.
"Look, if you leave Loki and come with me, you won't face any further problems. I'll treat you like the princess you are, with care and love." His voice was now suprisingly soft that made Rose cringe in confusement and disgust.
"I'll place every thing at your feet... anything you want, I'll give it to you. Just-just be mine. I promise I will be a good man. Let my sister take Loki. I don't care if you're his soulmate. Tell me Rose..." He stepped forward, his hand extended towards her to take. "Tell me that you will be mine. Tell me."
Rose just stared at him, unblinking and cold. "Rose answer me. ANSWER ME!!" Tybalt screamed making her jump in fear. She bared out her canines and hissed at him. "Your offer is good but it's not for me. My heart, my soul, my mind, my body... everything belongs to Loki now. It will remain his till I breathe my last." Rose growled. "You better not steal something that belongs to someone else's. It's a bad manner."
"You don't deserve sweet words. You deserve-" he backhanded her face sending her toppling back on the ground. "this!" He spat out.
Rose's eyes changed colour and the beast inside her unleashed. She sprang on him unexpectedly and clawed at his face and arm, targetting for some vital parts like eyes and throat, but failed. Tybalt roared in pain and grabbed her wrists.
Before Rose could act Tybalt wrenched out her long and sharp nails directly from the bases. Rose leaped back, her wide eyes on her bloody fingers. Out of ten, only five fingers had their clawy nails intact. And then the pain hit her. A raw scream erupted from her throat and she cried out loud, unstoppable tears streaming down her face. The pain was excruciating. Unbearable.
Tybalt looked down at his hands that had the long nails and grinned sickly. He wiped the flowing blood from his face and neck and studied the nails."Are you a beast? These nails are not the manicured one my sister has." He chuckled and dropped the nails, without paying any heed to the agonizing sobs of the girl. "Whatever you are but you were needed to be taught a lesson. Now you won't be able to claw at anyone."
"I will kill you. I'll kill you, you fucking monster." Rose growled, her red rimmed dark blue eyes locked on him. Tybalt cackled madly. "Look at yourself. Just look at yourself." He stomped his foot on her bloody fingers making her writher and choke on her sob. "You're in no shape to threaten me. This night will be your last." He grinned. "You'll die while your soulmate drinks and enjoys himself in the Ball. No one to save you. You'll die tonight-"
He couldn't complete his sentence as Rose slid her leg under his legs making him fall down on his back. Wasting no time, she kicked him hard on his face. Being drunk, he was easily overpowered by her.
While Tybalt groaned in pain, Rose stood up swaying slightly and then threw up all over the floor. She threw up some more and it seemed to clear up her head. Wiping her mouth, she picked up the sword, her legs still trembling under her.
"Tonight, someone will die. But it's either me or you. And I will make sure it's you." She growled and swung the sword at him but sadly, she was late. Too late for Tybalt sprung up and tackled her down on the floor. He trapped her under his body, his wild eyes grazing over her face and neck and he smirked.
"This is where you should be. Under me. This is your place woman. A woman's place is under a man's." He licked his lips. "You thought you could overpower me? Kill me? Seriously! It's so easy to break you. No matter how much powers you have, you'll remain a fragile and weak woman." He sneered.
Rose's vision blurred as a urge to throw up invaded her again. "Then you're mistaken motherfucker for I'm not a damsel in distress like woman. I'm already broken and have suffered a hell lot more than this." She spat on his face. "Better luck next time."
Tybalt grabbed her throat and lifted her up. Rose kicked in the air and scratched at his hand to loosen the grip but he squeezed more. "You're going to regret it." He snarled and carried her still lifted body to the bathroom. He threw her in the tub, forcing her head under the water.
"Let me break you further then." He snickered as he pushed her head further down and watched amused as her struggles became lesser and lesser.

"Did you see how the Lord of Alder tripped? It was hilarious!" Fandral laughed. "He deserved it. Norns! Even my hunger dissipated hearing his boasts." Volstagg added.
"But how did he trip like that?" Sif mused. Thor grinned. "Maybe Loki has something to say about it." He patted Loki's back who smiled. "I did it. He was getting on my nerves." He admitted and the rest burst out laughing.
"Rose and you were looking soo good together! Almost every eyes were on you two." Sif complimented. Loki smiled widely. "Thanks Sif." "Frankly speaking, if she wasn't your soulmate I would have surely won her over you Loki." Fandral piped in. Loki snorted. "In dreams Fandral."
"But where is little girl?" Volstagg asked and Loki cursed under his breath. "Shit! She said she's not feeling well. Dammit! How can I forget about it!?" He handed his wine glass to Thor. "Good night friends. I should go now." They nodded and Loki teleported away outside her room.
He was about to knock when his eyes fell on the locked handle of the door. "It's locked from outside...where is she?" He turned to face his room's door to find it locked too. "It's locked. She's not in my room too." A slight fear creeped up his heart.
He tried to reach her through the soul joiner pendant but he couldn't find any connection. She was not wearing it. "Damn it Rose! Where are you? Where did she go in the middle of the night?"
He saw a maid carrying some plates and called her. "My Prince." She bowed. "Have you seen a girl with long brown hair till her waist. And big unique coloured eyes and she's very pretty and-""Umm... my Prince, do you mean Lady Rose?" The maid asked timidly.
Loki blinked. "Yes yes. Rose. Have you seen her?" The maid nodded. "I saw her walking towards the west part of the palace with Lord Tybalt." His heart thumped hard. "Tybalt!?!" She nodded. "West wing!?" She nodded again. Loki could feel his throat tighten. He dismissed the maid and then breathed shakily.
West wing? The loneliest part of the palace? And with Tybalt? He ran fingers through his hair. Norns! She's in danger. Oh God! She's in danger.
Without wasting any more seconds, he started his walk towards the path that led to the west wing of the palace. He abruptly stopped as he saw someone whom he never expected to meet at this particular time.
"Yevhen!?"
The boy lifted up his head from his knees to reveal his teary face. Seeing a familiar face, he stood up and ran towards Loki, wrapping his little hands around his legs. "Loki!!"
"Hey child! Ssh! Don't cry." Loki knelt down and wiped the boy's face. "What are you doing here boy? Where is your sister? It's night and not safe-""Roth! He will*hic* he will hurt her." Yev sobbed, clutching Loki's sleeves. He was so scared that his little frame trembled like a leaf.
Loki's heart drummed as panic settled in. "You-you know where is she? Is she hurt?" Yev nodded his head. "He*hic* he had a big thword. He grabbed her hair and made her cry. I-I tried*hic* t-tried to thave her but couldn't." He wailed, hugging Loki's neck.
Loki rubbed his back and picked the child up. Cradling the small figure, he teleported back to his room and placed him on his bed. "Stop crying now boy. Can you tell me how the surrounding looked?" Yev hiccuped and nodded."There were no guard. Bigger pillars and many clothed doorth." Loki immediately recognised the place.
"Okay... you did a wonderful job today. You're a brave boy Yevhen." He whispered, tucking the boy under his blanket. "But I-I couldn't thave her." He sobbed. Loki smiled slightly to comfort the boy. "No. You're brave. Braver than me. And stronger. You saved her boy." He wiped his tears and placed his green glowing hand on his head. "Now sleep." Yevhen yawned loudly and was sleeping soundly the next moment.
Loki sighed and walked out of his room. He created a clone of himself and sent it to Thor and then teleported to the farthest part of the palace, where Rose was seen last. He conjured up his sword as he got ready to face the man who dared to hurt his Love.

Rose gasped for air and coughed out water. Tybalt stared at her, amused. "Did I break you? Are you done?" Rose heaved heavily and glowered at him, her eyes glazed over with unsaid pain. "In your dreams, filthy swine."
Tybalt scowled and lifted up his sword. "Alright. Enough games. Let me finish this now." He placed the blade tip on her cheek and smiled sadly. "It's a shame that such a beautiful life is going to end tonight. You could have chosen me but I know you're foolish and stubborn." He scoffed. "But I'll make you mine in the next life." He raised his sword and was about to strike her when the door opened with a bang revealing the young prince.
Tybalt rolled his eyes. "Oh Norns! Not now...ugh!"
Loki saw red. Hot blood pounded in his ears as his body contorted with fury. The battered form of his Love was enough to turn him to his wild state. He gripped his sword tightly. "You won't get to see the sun tomorrow." He snarled, stepping up.
Tybalt pressed the blade against Rose's throat and Loki halted. His heart stopped seeing her bruised and pale face. "Maybe I'll die but not alone, Prince. Not alone." He smirked and pressed the blade further into her soft skin. Rose arched her head back to avoid being cut.
Loki gritted his teeth. "Leave her alone Tybalt. Your fight is with me, not her. You've done enough damage." Tybalt snorted. "Ah no Loki. You're not alone in the fight anymore now. I know I can't kill you but..." He grinned widely. "But I can make you suffer."
He slid the blade slowly and gently across her throat, leaving behind a thin red line. Rose whimpered loudly.
Loki panicked seeing her condition but as usual, didn't show it. "Fight like a man, you bastard! Be ashamed for you fight behind a woman, disgusting coward!" Loki yelled. Tybalt clenched his jaws. "I'm not a coward! I don't fight using tricks like you!"
"Then prove it! I swear on my Love that I won't use my magic. Now, do you dare to fight?" Loki prompted, his eyes repeatedly skimming over Rose who had her eyes closed and was breathing heavily.
Tybalt kicked her out of his way and it took Loki all his self control not to blast that man away. Tybalt swung his sword and stepped forward. "Come on."
Swords clashed with a loud clang as the men started their fight. Tybalt continued to attack while Loki deflected it, shifting his body like a snake. He knew Tybalt was drunk and he would easily get tired. Tybalt striked down his sword on Loki's and pushed him down. Loki kicked him off and hit his sword.
Rose, on the other hand, peeled open her eyes and stared at the men. Even in that condition, she couldn't help but notice how sexy Loki looked with a sword. She tried to smile but her jaws hurt.
Holding the door for support, she stood up and started looking for something to heavy. She found a rod of some metal and struggled to pick it up.
Fuck! It's heavy.
With a lot of effort, she was successful in picking it up and staggered towards the fighting duo. Loki noticed Rose with the rod and allowed Tybalt to pin him down. Tybalt, thinking that Loki has given up, brought his sword up to finish his life when Rose hit him hard on his head.
Tybalt let out a grunt and fell on the floor on his back. Rose breathed shakily and dropped the rod with a loud clatter. She looked at Loki and smiled. "Hi Lemon." Loki blinked slowly and engulfed her in his arms, a sob escaping his lips as he showered her head with kisses.
Rose smiled weakly when Loki ran his hands over her face, his eyes filling with tears seeing her so messed up. "You know you look so hot with...with a sword." She joked, grinning but Loki glared dangerously at her. Rose's smile dropped.
"Just wait till I get you patched up." He gritted his teeth. "I'm gonna punish you so-"
"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE!?" The couple turned to face Allfather at the door with some guards and Thor and Frigga. "It was Tybalt, Allfather." Loki replied briefly. Rose leaned against his body, her body almost ready to shut down. She no longer felt pain but numb. "He had abducted-"
"LOKI MOVE!" Thor yelled.
They failed to notice Tybalt who had stood up again, the sword back in his hand. He had sneaked behind Loki and had lifted his sword to strike his head.
And the next happened so fast that it was almost a blur.
Rose pushed Loki away from her as she swept away the sword from her soulmate's hand. Without thinking, she swung the sword at Tybalt. Blood splattered on her face as she gawked horrified at what she had done.
Frigga's hand shot up her lips as the male in the room gasped audibly. Loki backed away from her.
Tybalt gazed at the part where his hand used to be, in shock and then fell back on the ground, screaming and howling in pain as dark blood pooled beneath his body. His severed hand that still had the sword, lay a feet away from Rose's feet.
Loki looked at Odin who nodded his head stiffly. Taking out his dagger, he knelt beside the figure. Tybalt stared at him with wide wild eyes filled with fear as Loki brought his dagger tip on his chest.
"Although you deserve this pain..." He growled, whispering. "... you should be happy that it's getting over so quickly." And with that, Loki stabbed Tybalt's chest. The man let out a last scream before he went still as the blade had pierced his heart.
Rose stuggled to breathe. The blood covering her face made her gag. She threw up again and again till nothing was left inside her stomach. She dry gagged until Frigga rushed to her aid. She slumped on the floor, still heaving loudly. "Lo-ki!" She chocked out grabbing Frigga's hand. Loki hurriedly rushed to her side and took her shaking from in his arms.
"GUARDS ARREST HER!" Odin yelled and the guards neared Rose but Thor stopped them. "She's not in good condition, father. First listen to her before doing something that you'll regret later." Frigga supported him. "Thor's right, dear. We don't know if it's her fault."
Rose closed her eyes as she grabbed Loki's hand. She was about to lose her consciousness. "Loki?""Yes yes my love?" Loki asked, cupping her cold face, avoiding the injuries. A tear rolled down his cheek as he noticed her fingers with no nails."Just clean me... Clean...me up...before... putting me to bed."
▼△▼△▼ △▼△▼△ ▼△▼△▼
Rose woke up with a splitting headache. Her whole body was engulfed in painful cramps. It was hard for her to pinpoint exactly where it wasn't paining.
She looked to her side to find herself alone in bed. She frowned. "Didn't Loki sleep with me? He left me alone after what happened last night?" The side of her bed was cold and not much fazed, indicating that Loki never slept beside her. Her heart sank.
Pushing herself up with great difficulty, she got down from the bed. Rubbing her eyes, she made her way to the bathroom but stopped when her eyes fell on the figure standing at the window.
"Loki?" She called out, frowning.
"You're awake." He asked back, his back facing her. Rose scoffed. "No. I'm just sleepwalking." She walked near him and extended her hand to place it on his arm but his next words stopped her.
"Don't touch me."
Her bandaged fingers curled back as she stared at his back questioningly with a hurt look. "I-I don't...why?" She shuttered, her throat tightening.
"I'm not here. It's just one of my clone you are talking to. If you touch me, I'll disappear." He replied, still not facing her. "Oh..." Rose mumbled, sitting back on the bed and tucked a curl lock of hair behind her ear. "May I ask why you are not here with me?"
"No you may not." He replied as he turned to face her. Rose gulped nervously. Loki looked angry. If looks could kill, she would have been dead for a while now.
"Why are you so angry-" "Stop your questions and answer mine. Why were you with him?" Loki asked, folding his hands over his chest. Rose averted her eyes from his and looked down.
"Why were you with him, Rose?" He asked again, harsher this time. Rose fiddled with her fingers. "I-I... He said that your life is in danger."
"And you trusted him!? Are you this stupid!??" Loki snapped angrily, his eyes narrowed. "He had attacked you last week. And on top of that, he was Neith's brother! How the hell did you trust him!"
Rose bit her cheeks. "I thought he was a good man. When I said him about his parents'murderer he was so shocked and-and said that you and I are in danger... I thought that-"
"You thought that maybe he's a good guy who whips and forceably beds maids and then suddenly asks you to move out with him in the MIDDLE of the NIGHT AND THAT TOO IN THE LONELIEST PART OF THE PALACE!" Loki yelled, towering over her. "HE WOULD HAVE KILLED AND BURIED YOU! NO ONE WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT IT!"
"Why are you shouting at me?" Rose objected back, the tears in her eyes threatening to fall down.
"Then at whom will I shout? At the dead body of Tybalt? Or at myself?" Loki threw up his hands in the air. "Do you not understand the gravity of your stupid deed? I mean how...how did you believe him in the first place? Why didn't you tell me about it before?"
Rose kept quiet, staring at the white bandages. Loki grunted. "Rose answer me!" She flinched. "I thought I could handle it.... I just wanted you not to worry."
"Ah! And you did a marvelous job with that! Look at me! I'm not at all worried!" He laughed dryly. "I was so relaxed and happy that I didn't even sleep an inch, staring at the stars AND DAMMIT ROSE! HOW CAN YOU BE SO STUPID?!" He shouted at her, the veins in his jaws twitching. "YOU NEVER FAIL TO SURPRISE ME!"
"HE SAID THAT YOUR LIFE WAS IN GRAVE DANGER! HOW COULD I HAVE IGNORED THAT FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!" Rose screamed. "I did the correct thing! I wanted to save you! WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?"
"Listen to me, Rose." Loki lowered his voice seeing how heavily Rose was breathing. "I appreciate your concern. I appreciate that you staked your life to save mine but please... please don't do it again."
He spreaded out his hands towards her. "I can't lose you. Do you know how scared I was when I found you missing from your room in the dead of night? I was scared to death when that man had his blade pressed against your neck. Each of your laboured breathes and painful whimpers seemed to kill me." He said softly.
"I won't die so easily but you can. You're a mortal, Rose and you don't heal as quickly as I can. The wound which is just a scratch for me is deadly for you. I was on the verge of losing my mind when you collapsed in my arms. Can you even imagine what would have happened to me if you had died?" He asked. "I can't imagine my life without you. I just... can't. Do you understand what I am saying? Do you?"
"If you're saying that I'm weak then you're wrong Loki." Rose retorted. "I know that you care for me but I can protect myself too! And like you, I too can't think of my life where you are not there with me." Tears leaked out her eyes. "I thought I was doing you a favour... Whenever I try to do something good, it always turns the bad way. I-I-I am sorry." She sobbed.
Loki's eyes softened as he let out a disappointed sigh. "I brought you here, in Asgard, to keep you happy. I thought you would be safe. Away from your past, nightmares, Hydra, pains, tensions... just with me. But here you are," he shrugged dejectedly "wrapped in bandages and fighting with me. No matter what I do, you still manage to dig your own grave."
"Loki I-"
"I don't know... I don't know what to do to keep you safe. I even gave you the soul joiner pendant so that I would know if you're in any danger but you don't wear it. You make me feel I'm not suitable for you."
"Loki! What are you saying!? I don't-"
"Then tell me Rose." He interrupted, pointing a finger at her. "Inspite of knowing about your past dangers with men, why did you move out with Tybalt without informing me?"
Rose's eyes widened. "I told you the-"
"Inspite of knowing that how your seducing glow turns on the men and force them to fuck you, why did you leave with him without informing me?"
"Loki stop!"
"Maybe you're physically strong but mentally? No. Most of the descision you take leads you to danger. Mature up Rose! Even Lucy is more mature than you! Try to listen more and use your empty skull less! We try so hard to help you recover quick but you always manage to flush our efforts down in drain. You just can't-"
"What do you mean by recover?"
Loki stopped. He knew he has crossed his line. He knew that he has fucked up.
Rose stood up. "Recover? Why? What is wrong with me?"
"Rose I mean-"
"What did you mean by mature up? Am I not mature? What is wrong with my mental health? I am mentally ill?"
Loki stepped forward, his hands raised. "No darling, I didn't mean that. You are perfect. Perfectly fine-"
"STOP IT!" Rose snapped, tears rolling down her cheeks. "You think I'm crazy? Just like SHIELD did? You all do, right? I'm insane?"
Rose was shaking violently at the moment and it made Loki worried. "Look darling, I never thought like that about you. Why don't you sit down and stop-"
"NO YOU STOP NOW!" Rose wiped her tears roughly. "You know what? Now it makes sense that why you all behaved so soft around me. Why you all treated me like some glass doll wrapped in plastic. Because you think me some UNSTABLE, IMMATURE, STUPID GIRL... am I right?" She growled.
Loki shook his head. "Love please-"
"AM I RIGHT?" She banged her fist on the table, not even flinching when her index finger began to bleed through the bandage. Loki stayed silent, his eyes pleading her to calm down but it egged her further. She smiled. "So, I am right afterall." She chuckled and then laughed but her laugh gradually turned to sobs.
"How did I not notice it before? How can I be so stupid and unaware?" She whispered in between her soft sobs. "You all pity me. YOU ALL PITY ME FOR MY CONDITION!... YOU!" She pointed at Loki, her eyes red rimmed. "You pity me too, right?"
Loki shook his head aggressively. "No no no! You're taking it all wrong! Why are you twisting my words?"
Rose tilted her head as she took a step towards him. "Tell me Loki, do you love me?" Loki felt like someone has stabbed him through the heart. "Rose! How can you say something like-"
"Is this love or you pity me? I hate being pitied. I'm not pathetic. No I'm not. Do you pity me Loki?"
Loki sighed deeply, shaking his head. "I don't pity you Love. Darling please let me help you! Just listen to-"
Loki couldn't complete his sentence. His illusion vanished as Rose had swiped her hand through him. All he could do was give her a last pleading glance before he got mixed in air.
Rose slumped on the ground, a sob escaping her lips. She clutched her hair, ignoring the piercing pain in her fingers and cried loudly. She curled into a tight ball and cried and wailed her heart out. The pain in her body and the pain in her heart was unbearable.
For the first time in her two years, after she escaped from Hydra, she felt lonely. For the first time, even Loki's hugs and kisses showed no signs to ease her sufferings. She was alone.
Lots of hugs and kisses and pecks and cookies from me!!! 🤗😘🥰❤️🍪🍪I'll try to update sooooooon!!!! Bu-Byeeeeeee Cupcakes!!!!
