Chapter 1 - I Promise!

It was a sunny day in Konoha. Fifteen years had passed since the last war. The world was at peace right now.

Konoha had a new Hokage now. The Seventh, also known as Naruto Uzumaki.

Ever since the fight with Pein many years ago, he became the village hero. But after the war he became the world hero. Most of the girls fell at his feet.

But Naruto wasn't single. Naruto had a wife and two children.

His wife, also known as Hinata Uzumaki, gived birth to their son, Boruto and their daughter Himawari.

Time has changed and the technology improved.

Boruto has eleven years old now and Himawari six years old.

Boruto was taking a walk around the village since he got bored of playing with hia sister. But since his sister was a stubborn little girl, she came along with him.

"Himawari, you that I love you but can't you just leave me alone for half an hour?" Boruto told her.

"B-but onii-chan!" Himawari started to tear up.

Oh no!

"Oh god! I swear that's not what I meant to! I'm sorry. Hey why don't you tell me where do you wanna go? I'll buy you some cinnamon rolls. How about it?" Boruto quickly said.

Himawari smlied in victory.

"Yay! You're the best onii-chan! Well first we'll go to aunt Ino to buy some flowers! Then we're going to uncle's grave. Then we go eat! And then we go to daddy!"

Oh no we don't!

"Himawari, oyaji is busy. We can't just go in his office like we own the place." "But we do!"

"No we don't!"

"Yes we do! I always visit daddy at work!"

"To bring him food! Then you leave. He doesn't need us there..."

"But; b-but-"'

"Okay! You go see that stupid old man and I'll wait for you!"

As they visited Neji's grave, Boruto noticed that Himawari bought two bouquets of flowers.

"Himawari, why did you bought two bouquets?"

"One for uncle and one for our grandparents!"

Boruto rolls his eyes.

Jeez, can't we just get out of here? I have a feeling someone is waching us. What if there are ghosts here?

"Come on Himawari! Let's go!"

"Okay!"

Before Himawari left, she grabbed two sunflowers and towards the grave of her grandparents.

"Sorrt for my onii-chan. He is really mad that daddy isn't spending much time with him."

"Let's go!"

"Bye!"

Who the heck is she talking to?

After they ate, they started to walk towards the Hokage building.

"Okay! I'll wait for you here. You go see dad." Boruto said while getting comfortable on a bench.

"No! You come with me, onii-chan!"

"But I don't wanna see that stupid old dad!"

"Come on!" Himawari started to walk towards the building.

Boruto sighed and stood up.

"Fine! But if I make eye contact eoth him I'll leave!"

"Hai, hai!"

As they reached Naruto's office, before they could open the door they stopped.

"What do you mean just disappeared?" Naruto asked angrily.

"That's what they said. And they can't even find them. There is no trace of them." Shikamaru said.

"Wow... It seems like something bad happend." Boruto whispered.

"You were right, onii-chan! He is really busy now!"

"See? Now let's go!"

"Noo! I wanna know what happened!" "Himawari, no! That's Hokage business! It has nothing to do with us."

"But I wanna know!"

"No! Let's go!"

Then Himawari started to tear up... Again.

"Himawari, please."

"Onii-chan!"

"But Himawari!"

"Onii-chan!"

"Fine!"

They walked in those celing-mounted air conditioning thingy? I really don't know what is called.

As they finally arrived under Naruto's office, they looked through and Saw Naruto looking at some reports.

"I still can't believe they couldn't even find them. Where the hell did they go?"

"What are they talking about?" Himawari asked.

"Shhh!"

"Oh right!"

Naruto looked towards them but couldn't see anyone so he turned back to his paperwork.

"That was close. Let's go Himawari! I'll explain to you what- Ahhh!"

Boruto fell down into Naruto's office.

"Itai!"

"Boruto Uzumaki! What are you doing here?!" Naruto asked his son.

"Hey! It was Himawari's idea!"

"Don't blame your sister!"

"Daddy!" Himawari entered the office.

"Sunflower!"

Naruto stood up and hugged Himawari.

Himawari strated to giggle.

"Daddy! I brought you a flower!"

Himawari gived Naruto the sunflower.

"Aww! You're so sweet and cute! Boruto! How dare you blame your sister for this?"

Boruto sweat-drop.

"Shitty old dad." Boruto mumbled.

"What did you said?!"

It was late now. Boruto and Himawari walked towards their house.

"I can't wait to see mommy and tell her my adventure from today!" Himawari said.

"I'm grounded again thanks to you!" Boruto said.

"Oh don't be mad! Life is beautiful so smile!" Himawari giggled.

Boruto smiled.

How can I stay mad at her?

Just then, someone fell from the sky right in front of them.

Boruto quickly gestured to Himawari to stay behind his back.

As the dust cleared, the man that fell from the sky started to attack.

Boruto's eyes widen. He took a step back and gestured to Himawari to run.

"Run! Himawari, run!"

"But onii-chan!"

"I won't forgive you if you don't run! Find dad or mom! Hurry!" Boruto yelled.

Himawari had a scared on her face.

Boruto turned around only to find the misterious man right behind his back.

"What do you want fucker?!"

The man placed his hand infront on Boruto, and before Boruto could do anything, he disappeared.

Himawari's ran into her dad office. She was crying now.

What happened to onii-chan.

"DADDY!" Himawari screamed as loud as she could.

Naruto ran out of his office as fast as he probably could.

"Himawari? What's wrong?" Naruto asked his daughter.

"Onii-chan!"

Naruto sighed.

"What did he did now?" Naruto asked.

"There was a scary man that fell f-from the sky! And onii-chan told me to run because the man was dangerous!" Himawari said while crying.

Naruto's eyes wided.

Could it be-

"Hokage-sama! He's back! That man somehow entered the village! But he is gone now." Shikamaru said.

Naruto's eyes wided.

"Don't tell me! Boruto!"

Boruto woke up only to find himself in a forest?

"What the hell happened? More importantly, where am I?" Boruto looked around the area.

"Hmm? Isn't this the- Oh! I know where I am! But why am I doing here?"

As he walked towards the villaged, he saw something that surprised him.

"What the hell? Where is dad's face on the mountain? And why are they only five faces?!"

The two gourds from the gates of the village notices Boruto.

"Oi, boy! Who the hell are you?"

"Hmm? Me?"

"Yeah you! Don't play dumb!"

Why don't they recognize me?!"

Then something clicked in his head.

DID HE TIME TRAVELED?!

"Any sign of him?" Naruto askes worried.

"No Hokage-sama! We searched everywhere!"

Naruto was now freaking out. What happened to his son?

"How will I tell Hinata?! She will kill me!"

"Tell me what?" Hinata asked while entering his office.

"Mommy!" Himawari ran to her mother.

Hinata picked Himawari up and saw that she was crying.

"Why are you crying darling?" She asked her daughter. But her daughter her her tighter. "I was worried because Boruto and her didn't arrived home so I thought they stopped here. But then I saw all the commotion outside. What happened?"

Naruto couldn't help it anymore. A few tears escaped his eyes.

"Hinata... Do you remember about that man who was a threat to everyone?"

"That man?"

"Yeah... He entered the village."

"What? That's horrible! And what happened? Where is Boruto?"

"He disappeared with Boruto. We searched everywhere! There is no trace of them! Nothing!"

"T-that can't-" Hinata started to cry.

Naruto hugged his wife and daughter.

Boruto, I swear I'll find you and I will bring you home. I promise!
