Chapter 3

~Lucy's POV~ ( heres a little recap from the last chapter)

"Lucy and Natsu sitting in a tree!"

"K-I-S-S-I-N-G" Lissanna and Happy sang

"First comes love!"

"Then comes marriage!"

"Then comes Lu-"

"WENDY LETS GO ON A JOB!" I yelled to get Lissanna and Happy to stop.

"U-um okay." Wendy said.

I grabbed Wendy's hand and dragged her to the job board.

"You pick" I told to her.

"Ah okay. Hmmmmm, that one" She pointed to one of the pieces of paper.

It didn't pay much, only 2500 jewels, but it was good enough to get out of the Guild for a while.

"Alrighty" I said and grabbed the paper and headed over to Mira who was cleaning up the spilled beer and broken wood from when Gray fell into Cana's keg.

"Mira, Wendy and I want to go on this job" I said showing her the paper.

"Oh okay" Mira said with a smile.

"Be safe Lu-chan! Wendy-chan!" Levy said waving.

"Cya when we get back" Wendy said

We where almost out the door when..

" Oi! Luce! Where are you going?!" Natsu said walking up to us.

"On a job with Wendy" I said.

"Can I come?" He asked.

"Nope. Just me and Wendy" I said.

"Awww why not?" He said and began to complain.

I put my finger over his lips to shut him up.

"Shhh" I smirked "Girl time" I said to him with a smile. Then turned around and walked out.

"Come on Wendy!" I yelled for her to follow.

"Coming!" She said and ran after me.

~Natsu's POV~

"Girl time? What dose that mean?" I thought as I walk over to the table Gajeel, Gray and Levy were sitting. Lissanna went over to talk with Mira.

I sat down in my seat put my elbows on the table and put my head in my hands and thought about what Lucy told me, trying to figure out what she meant by "Girl time" I feel stupid.

"Oi Natsu, what's up? You looked confused" Gray asked.

"Lucy and Wendy went on a job and Lucy said they were having "Girl time" and I'm trying to figure out what she meant by that." I said

Levy laughed.

"What's so funny?" Gray and I asked in unison.

"When I girl says they having "Girl time" with one of they're friends it means that they're going to talk about girly stuff like boys or something. If its not that then it's probably something important" Levy explained

"So basically they went on a play date?" Gajeel asked.

"Yep that about sums it up" said Levy.

"Oh" I said and sat back in my chair and looked up at the ceiling.

"Boy's huh? Hmm I hope it me."  I thought.

"Wait what am I thinking?!"

I blushed at the thought.

"Ugh..." I sighed.

"What was that?" Gray asked.

"Oh nothing" I said.

For some reason, I'm getting a bad feeling that somethings going to happen on Wendy and Lucy's job.

I hope they come back soon.

~Lucy's POV~

After about a 30 minute train ride we finally arrived at are destination. We walk out of the train station and set off.

We had to walk out to our clients house.

"Hey Wendy what's our clients name?" I asked

"Umm let me check" Wendy said pulling out the paper with the job info.

"Ella Lucksfard. She wants us to clear a few monsters in the forest near her house that have been coming to her house at night and eating her crops." Wendy said.

"Seems easy enough." I stated.

"Hmm" I herd Wendy mumble.

"What is it?" I asked

"It says that Ella used to have 3 kids. I wounder what happened to them." Wendy said, lost in thought.

"Hm" I said and we kept walking.

"So why did you want to go on a job with me all of a sudden?" Wendy asked me.

"Okay one, I wanted to get away from Happy and Lissanna and there singing about me and Natsu. Two-"

"They spoke the truth" Wendy cut me off and giggled.

I flicked her ear. "Shush child" I said as I blushed at her words.

"As I was saying, two it was getting to crazy in there and I wanted out" I finished.

"Ah okay!" Wendy said "I kinda wanted to get out of there to" she said.

"Sooo~ do you like Natsu?" Wendy asked giggling.

"W-wha? N-no!" I blushed, turning away from her.

"Awww you do!~" Wendy said.

"Welll~ I know you like Romeo~" I giggled at her.

"Maybe..." She blushed. "Don't tell anyone okay?" She asked.

"Okay, I wont as long as you don't tell anyone I like Natsu, kay?

"Deal!" Wendy said.

We made it to Ella's house and I knocked on the door.

A small redhead woman with green eyes opened the door and looked up at me.

"Oh! You must be from Fairy Tail! You've come to rid me of those monsters?" She asked

"Yes ma'am we have" I said.

Ella gave us a nice smile before speaking again.

"Great! There come out of the woods over there. Once you entered the woods walk north for a little and you should find a stream. That's where they stay." Ella said.

"Alright we will see you in a bit miss Ella" Wendy said.

"Yes yes. Now go!" She commanded.

We did as told and set off toward the woods where we were directed.

"Hey Wendy did something seem off about Ella?" I asked her.

"Hm kinda, her directions were very detailed. Like she was leading us there.." Wendy said.

"Yeah you're right" I said.

"It's probably nothing. Keep your guard up just in case" Wendy said

"Alright" I said and we kept walking.

"Oh what where you going to tell me back at the Guild? Right after Gray feel into Cana's keg and we were complaining about the smell?" I asked

Wendy looked at me with a worried look.

By now we had made it to the stream.

"We'll Lucy I was going to tell you that you might be a-"

She was interrupted (again) by a loud noise. A tree falling.

And hissing.
