Confusing Conversations

Stiles's POV

I practically ran down the halls trying to leave school unnoticed. Derek texted Scott and me, telling us to meet him at his place and that he had bad news, but didn't he always.

While running through the halls, I ran into Jenny. It was awkward, but I managed to keep my cool. I had to hurry and meet up with Scott to get to Derek's. The conversation ended quickly. Hopefully, she didn't assume anything was going on.

I walk to my blue Jeep where stood an inpatient Scott.

" What took you so long dude, Derek is going to kill us if we're late," says Scott

"Sorry, I ran into Jenny while getting to the car, quite literally," I say.

" Oh, Jenny huh. What do you have a little crush on her or something" says Scott with a smirk.

" What? No that's crazy talk! Why is it obvious? " I say nervously.

Scott laughs hysterically. "Of course it is but I don't think she knows."

We arrive at Derek's loft in a matter of fifteen minutes. Derek is impatiently waiting with his same, old, sour wolf face.

" Where the hell have you guys been? I told you to come over thirty minutes ago! " says Derek in a harsh tone.

"Whatever, just say what's going on," Scott says.

" We have a new enemy, and it's going to be our hardest one yet," says Derek.

" What do you mean it's going to our hardest one yet?", Says Scott and I in unison.

 " I mean that we are going to have to train extra hard this time because they're here to put up a fight," says Derek.

" Okay well what are they so we know what to look for?", asks Scott

"I don't know," mumbles Derek.

"What do you mean you don't know! Then how do you know they're so powerful or how do you even know that we can't crush whoever we're up against," I yell.

" I can just feel it okay just give me some time. In the meantime, try to look for unusual things," says Derek. 

Scott and I walk out of Derek's loft and start to wonder what thing are we up against this time.
