Prologue

00:25, 2 April 2018

Harry has given his heart and soul to help the light side become the winners of the war, but what has he got in return?

Heartache, Pain and Suffering!

Dumbledore sighs as he sits down on his comfy cushioned chair behind his desk in his office. The headmaster's office, in Hogwarts. He has no clue why Harry has demanded to see him, but he does know that it cannot be anything good.

Harry takes a couple of deep breaths outside the headmaster's office door. This is the last place he wants to be, but he understands that it will be better if he let the headmaster in on the fact that he is leaving and never coming back. He cannot deal with the lose of the ones he loves here, he needs to get away.

Harry knocks on the door with his hand three times not wanting to just walk in no matter how much he hates the old man. He sighs wondering how Dumbledore go the ahead of his plans during the war to save the two men who have his heart for all eternity. Even now when they are gone from him for good.

"Come in!" Dumbledore shouts out not giving anything away about how annoyed he is about this whole demanded meeting.

Harry quickly walks into the room keeping almost all of his usual grace. Dumbledore watches him intently as he sits down in the chair across from the old man, which he is pointing to. Both of them hoping that this doesn't take up to much time.

"What is going on my dear boy?" Albus asks after a couple of minutes of awkward silence and Harry only just holds back the sneer at the old bastard calling him his boy.

"I am transferring from Hogwarts to Durmstrang." Harry admits and the headmasters mouth drop as he was not expecting this not at all.

Albus takes a couple of second to regain himself before even thinking about what this means. He does not wish to let the wizarding hero go to such a school which allows dark arts to be taught to their students. And he knows just the way to stop this from happening....................................................... by manipulating him.

"Harry, my dear boy it's a very bad idea to transfer this late and are you sure you want to leave your friends?" Dumbledore asks trying not to sound like he hates the boy, but is just disappointed in him.

Harry glares at the headmaster wishing that he had just chose to leave now. He had an idea that the old man might be like this, but it doesn't mean that he wants to deal with it. Especially since he is so easy to anger these days.

"I am sure. I need to get away from Britain and the whole war." Harry tells him and Dumbledore sighs.

"My boy you are the hero of the wizarding world which means that the death eaters are still after you for taking in their lord. It will not be safe for you there." Albus explains trying to get the boy to stay by threatening his life.

"I have had it! I am leaving and there is fuck all you can do about it headmaster! I'm done being the boy who lived as well as your damn weapon!" Harry shouts before storming out of his office.

Albus sighs out in annoyance with no clue what to do now. He never thought that Harry would turn against him like this. But, it seems that the war and bringing down Voldemort has given the lad some back bone, which isn't good for him or his plans for the boy.

The next morning, Ron looks around the Gryffindor dorms before stopping in the common room. He sits down next to Hermione and wraps his arms around her as she snuggles into him. He can't help but wonder where his best friend has run off too this time.

Hermione glances at her boyfriend knowing that something is wrong and then notices that Harry is no where in sight. It is unusual since he usually spends Sundays with them in the common room relaxing and as far as she knows he doesn't have any detentions. It strikes her as very odd, but then again she knows his behaviour has been a bit odd since the end of the war just a couple of weeks ago.

"I'm worried." Ron admits catching Neville's, Seamus', Dean's and the rest of the Gryffindor's attentions.

"He might just need some time alone." Ginny sighs letting out the sentence even though she knows that isn't true.

Ginny knows Harry well enough since they used to date for a while last year without her brother or Hermione knowing anything about it. They broke when they realised that they were more like family than anything else. They dated for a month if that so they both saw no reason to let them in on it.

"Maybe we should go chat to the Headmaster. I am worried about Harry too." Hermione chimes in letting her thoughts be known just like always.

Ron nods at his girlfriend before they both get up and leave. Ginny sighs knowing that this is not going to end well at all. Neville looks to Ginny getting that she knows more about what is going on than anyone else that Harry talks too.

Draco picks up the morning Daily Prophet magazine trying to cure the boredom of just sitting around in the Slytherin common room doing nothing. Draco coughs out trying not to laugh at the front page of the newspaper. Pansy, Theodore and Blaise glance over his shoulder and stop dead in their track reading the title page.

Boy-Who-Lives Does A Runner!!!!! By Rita Skeeter.

This journalist got wind of something massive last night whilst on a stroll.

Harry Potter, the boy who lived, the saviour of the wizarding world has run away from Britain!

I was able to hear about our saviour leaving because he cannot cope with the after effects of the war and has transferred to Durmstrang instead. It makes me wonder if he really does care about everyone else especially when their is still death eaters around that need to be taken care off.

Has he left us to be taken over by them.

I talked to the Ministry and they told me that they are going to do their best to get rid of the rest of the death eater, since Harry has already done his job.

What do you think about our boy wonder doing a runner without telling anyone else?

"I cannot believe this even for one second." Draco tells them and the rest of the Slytherin students look at him like he might have lost a few marbles.

"Why would he leave though? It makes no sense after all his side won." Pansy lets out not understanding Harry Potter's actions at all.

Blaise sighs at Pansy's reaction, since he understands that war can be something that hurts both sides not just the losing one. Draco looks to his lover wondering if he is okay because he doesn't usually sigh like that. Blaise just smiles back to Draco not wanting to upset him with the cold hard truth that he probably already understands better than most.

"I don't blame him. He has lost a lot because of this war." Theodore lets out before walking out the common room wanting to talk to Ginny about what Harry told him before he disappeared.

Draco and Blaise stare after their friend wanting to know more about what he means. But, neither of them follow him, since they both know that he isn't one for sharing when it has nothing to do with them really.

Ron knocks on the headmaster's office door for the second needing answers about his best friend. Neither him nor Hermione have seen the Daily Prophet so they have no clue what is going on. But, they both can feel that it is not something good.

Albus jumps at the second knock, since he is not expecting anyone. Although, he can guess that it must be the youngest boy Weasley and Granger. They are the two that will notice his disappearance, but not check the paper first.

"You may enter." Dumbledore tells them calmly, but he is in caution mode on the inside as he does not wish to talk about Harry Potter too much before the order meeting he has called for tonight.

Hermione struts in with Ron right behind her, both with worried looks plastered on their faces. He can't think of a way to tell the boy's two best friends about him leaving because he cannot take the hurt from the war anymore. But, he cannot lie to them about the situation either.

"Where is Harry?" Hermione demands to know not wasting even a minute before getting the conversation onto the point she wants it to be on.

"He is safe. I cannot tell you anymore here, although there is an order meeting tonight that you two are allowed to attend, is that alright?" Dumbledore explains, and then asks them knowing that they will most definitely agree.

It will make things so much easier on him if he can talk to everyone who needs to know together and answer their question. Than do it in small groups and have to say the same things and answer the same question over and over again.

Ron looks to Hermione and her to him not breaking eye contact and Dumbledore can tell they are having a silent conversation. Ron nods ending their conversation about their answers, which causes Hermione to sigh. She wants to know now, but at least she knows her best friend is safe where he is.

"Okay." Ron and Hermione say in unison.

Dumbledore smiles at them politely before dismissing them both. They leave quickly both hoping that the day goes by quickly so that they can get the answers about their missing friend. All they can do is hope and pray that he is not gone for good.

Ginny smiles the moment she sees Theo, since they have not been able to spend much time with each other. Thanks to her brother, Ron. He just cannot get over his hate of Slytherin's. Harry is fine with it and even gets along with her boyfriend really well, she just wishes that her brother might be able to do the same.

But that is highly unlikely.

Theodore pulls Ginny into a hug having missed his girlfriend as much as she has missed him over the past couple of days. Harry has been helping them see each other without Ron interfering. But, they know it is going to be harder now more than ever before without Harry helping them.

"He's gone isn't he?" Ginny asks in a quiet voice wishing that she had more time with the one she sees as an older brother.

"Yeah he told me to tell you no matter what you are his little sister and he will come back as soon as he can." Theodore repeats what Harry told him to tell her without alteration.

"This is because of the lose of those two, isn't it?" Ginny asks already knowing the answer.

Neither of them know who Harry's mystery bounded husbands were just that they were on the other side of the war that he was on and that they loved him so much more than anything else. Ginny cannot blame her brother in all but blood for having to leave to get back to some sort of normal. She doesn't believe that she will ever be able to survive if she lost her love, but she knows that her brother is strong enough to carry on or so she hopes.

"I believe so. Ginny he loved them, the moment he found out about them no longer being in this world he broke down. I have never seen someone so distressed like that." Theodore admits and Ginny snuggles in closer to her boyfriend seeking comfort from the memory of her brother breaking down that day.

Hermione and Ron walk down the hallway and happen upon Ginny and Theodore kissing. Ron rushes over and pulls Theodore off of his little sister believing that he is protecting her from the slimey snake. But, he is only upsetting her further than she already is with her brother.

"What the hell Ron?!" Ginny barks the question wishing that Harry was hear to knock some sense into Ron.

"I'm protecting you from being hurt." Ron tells her and Hermione sighs understanding that this is about to get really ugly.

Ginny smacks her brother right across his face before going to Theodore and making sure he is okay. Ron looks at his sister with disbelief as he doesn't think that Ginny would do this to him. Ginny glares at her brother, and then walks off arm in arm with her boyfriend careful not to hurt him further than her brother has already.

Hermione cups Ron's chin in her hand assessing the damage done to him by his baby sister. She doesn't blame Ginny for a moment even she knows that Ron's hate for Slytherin's is going to far now. But, she loves him all the same and will not change him for anything else in the world.

"Lets get some ice on that." Hermione tells her boyfriend and he just nods still a little dazed by what has just happened.

Albus floos into 12 Grimmauld Palace wishing that he did not have to do this, but he cannot hide this as it has already come out in the papers. He doesn't understand how that woman got the story in the first place, since she is not allowed on the Hogwarts premises. He hates to admit it, but it is very baffling.

Molly, Arthur, Bill, Charlie, Remus holding Teddy in his arms, Mad eye Moody, Kingsley, Fred, George, Tonks, Hermione, Minerva and Ron are sat at the table in the dining room all worried and fearing the worst. Remus hates that he doesn't know what is going on with his cub, it scares him that he is acting so different. But, he cannot blame his pseudo godson for that, on the other hand he can blame the rest of the order for pushing Harry into becoming the hero that they wanted.

Albus enters the dining room to see all eyes on him. He notes down the concerned looks and the glares from some for letting Harry go missing. He never would have been able to stop him, although the he did sort of try to make him stay at hogwarts.

"Where is my cub Dumbledore?" Remus demands eyes shining with anger, while he holds his and Sirius' sleeping son.

"Harry came to me last night and told me he was transferring to Durmstrang and that their is nothing I will be able to do about it." Dumbledore explains and this time Molly slams her hands down on the table ignoring the gasps of shock around the room.

"Why on earth didn't you force him to stay?!" Molly barks showing of her mother hen side once again.

Hermione and Ron glance at each other both wanting to know if he left because of the whole war thing. Not that they can blame him sometimes they want to run away, but that doesn't mean that he should have. They are a trio he could have a least talked to them about it or that is what they think, but Harry needed to leave for the better.

"I couldn't. It showed in his eyes just how much it hurts him to stay here. It would have destroyed him." Dumbledore states calmly, although Remus can smell that there's more to the story than the man is letting on.

Remus looks down at his little boy wishing that his cub might have tried to stay here and take one day at time. But, he understands that this is what Harry needs to do and no matter what he is on Harry's side. Remus is more upset about having another member of his family not close by especially since he is Teddy's godfather and he knows that Harry will keep in contact with him and Teddy even if he doesn't do so with anyone else.

"Let him be. I think he needs this to be able to move on from everything that has happened." Remus admits that which he doesn't really want to admit at all.

"I thinks so too." Hermione and Ron chime in together at the same time.

The other reluctantly agree.

Dumbledore gets back to his office and sighs wishing that he could have kept the boy under his thumb. But, him being gone works as well, since he still holds the boys seats in the wizardnot and has control. Dumbledore smirks to himself a new plan forming in his head to control the British Wizarding World.
