Chapter 19. Together Forever

Ryder and his pups went back to the Lookout. "This place is dusty" Ryder said when he entered the Lookout with his pups. "I know, we haven't really had time to clean and I was too depressed to get to it" Chase said."But I can't believe that you're alive. What really happened?" "On the same night I was attacked by the VampireWolf which after all wasn't the real thing, I had turned into a wolf-dog during the middle of the night. I was scared that if everyone saw me, they would freak out and not like me anymore. So I ran away" Ryder said.

Chase jumped on Ryder and knocked him to the floor. "I don't care what you turn into, I will always love you. If that ever happens again, don't you dare run away again. You don't know how broken I was" Chase said. Ryder smiled and hugged Chase. "Promise me that no matter what, you won't ever run away" Chase said. "I promise" Ryder promised. The pups jumped in and started licking Ryder. After the licks, they shared a big group hug. "Let's start cleaning the Lookout. After we can watch a movie together" Ryder said. The pups howled and cheered in unison. "We're gonna start with the mission room" Ryder said.

Together they packed the elevator with a vacuum cleaner, some cloths, dusters, mops, soap, and a bucket of water. The elevator went up to the mission room and they all got out. Ryder turned on the vacuum cleaner and started going around.Skye bit a duster by the stick and flew up on her wings. She started dusting the big screen. Ryder had finished with the bare floor and was now vacuuming the carpet where the beanbags are. Chase and Rubble got the mops and started mopping the tiled floor. Rocky used his pincer to put soap in a bucket and then grab a sponge to clean the glass of the elevator. Zuma was dusting all the buttons and controls that were below the big screen. "What can I do?" Marshall asked, as he walked around looking for something to clean.

"You can......Ryder stopped when Marshall stepped on a sponge and went sliding toward the balcony which was open. "Ahhhh!" Marshall cried. Ryder immediately ran and grabbed Marshall in time before he went flying out of the balcony. "Phew! That was a close call" Marshall said who was in Ryder's arm."You gotta be careful, Marshall. You could've fell out of the balcony and the Lookout in tall" Ryder said. "I'm sorry" Marshall said and licked Ryder on the cheek. Ryder smiled and put his Dalmatian down. "You can finish vacuuming the carpet, since there's nothing else to really do" Ryder said. "Okay!" Marshall ran to the vacuum, wagging his tail. Skye grabbed a damp clothe and started wiping the glass that surrounds the mission room.

After cleaning the mission room, they cleaned the rest of the Lookout, including bottom floor, the TV room, the kitchen, the bathroom, Ryder's bedroom, Ryder's garage, the pup-houses and finally Marshall reached his ladder all the way to the giant PAW Patrol badge and gave it a good wash with his water cannons. By the time they had finished cleaning, Ryder and his pups were exhausted.

"It's time to welax" Zuma said. "It's time to eat. I'm starving" Rubble said, his stomach gave a big growl. "Let's prepare the snacks and then we can watch a movie" said Ryder. After preparing the snacks, everyone sat in the TV room. "It's great to be together again. The PAW Patrol and the Lookout feels lonely and doesn't feel complete without you Ryder" Chase said, who was sitting near Ryder on his pup-bed."We will always be together forever. And Chase, I'm very proud of you for continuing to lead the PAW Patrol without me" Ryder stroked Chase on the head."I could've never done it without Marshall and everyone else" Chase looked at Marshall who was sitting besides him. Marshall smiled. "You all are the greatest pups in the world" Ryder said. "And you're the greatest owner on this planet!" all of the pups said together.
