Shedded tears

Lisa lifted her head to the sound of her work phone. But the screen reads "Chaeyoung".

"Mmm?" She answered as she rubbed her eyes. From last night she didn't sleep for a minute.

"Yah, you alright? Why your phone is switched off?" Rose asked.

"Ani.. may be I... I forgot to charge it." She lied.

Rose kept silent for a moment. "Is it so? I was bit worried, so I came to see you. Just open the door for me."

"Wae? I'm really fine"

"Yah, open the door quickly"

Lisa sighed. Rose will ask so many questions, but even Lisa herself couldn't sort out her thoughts.

She opened the door. Instead of Rose, there stood 'him', the last person she wanted to see right now.

Lisa tried to close the door but he hold it. "Babe" he called her.

Lisa's gaze fixed on his hand. "Let it go" she said firmly.

"Lisa, listen to me. We have to talk about it. Please let me explain." He begged.

She looked up at him. Her eyes filled with tears. Even Lisa thought she emptied her tears earlier, but looked like there's more crying to do.

Yoongi slid in through the half opened door. "Lisa, baby please don't do that."

Lisa gave up. She had no energy left to fight with him. She walked away. Yoongi closed the door and followed her. He quickly stepped and hugged her from the back. Lisa struggled to resist but he was holding her too tight. She felt helpless. 'Why am I this weak? Why am I this vulnerable to give up everything for him? Even after what he did to me. Why am I this stupid and pathetic?" She cried. She cried loud. He tightened his arms around her and buried his face on her neck. When her cries started to fall, he lead her to the couch and made her sit. Then he knelt before her and took her hand.

"Baby, I don't know what you saw, but whatever it is, I swear it's not what you think. I'm sorry I made you hurt, I'm sorry I let you cry alone all night, but my love, there's nothing between me and that woman, or any other woman at all. I only have you, and only you are in my life."

Lisa's crying increased once again. She hung her head and cried. Yoongi leaned forward and rested Lisa's head on his shoulder. He hold her closer till she finished crying. Finally, she looked up. 'He's still there, on his knees, holding me, all this while.' She didn't know what to think. He handed her some more tissues and wiped her eyes with his own hands.

"It's breaking my heart to see you like this. This is all because of me." He said softly as he pushed her hair from the face.

" Oppa"

Yoongi looked at her red eyes. Lisa pointed to the couch beside her. She has calmed down.

Yoongi stood by the window in his home, looking at the Han river. The river looked so calm unlike what was going on in his mind. 'Her eyes! Those were the saddest he ever saw. How is she going to work when she clearly didn't sleep last night? The way she cried, it breaks my heart. Why couldn't I be careful?' He kept on thinking.

And from a corner of mind, Namjoon's words echoed.

"Hyung, jebal stop trusting people so easily. I beg you. This is very serious thing. Not only that woman surpassed the security, but she spiked your drink too. I don't care what you say, I saw her expression when she saw me, I saw how you were totally passed out. I didn't make a complaint to police because of you said not to. But for God's sake be careful of that woman. Hyung, please!"

Yoongi rubbed his temples. 'But why Sohye did that? Why?'

It was true that he helped her and her son time to time. Doesn't matter what kind of their parents are, a child should never allowed to grow up poorly. Yoongi remembered how Sohye came to meet him when she was pregnant with this child. He remembered how his blood boiled when he heard that child's father cowardly ran away when he learnt Sohye was pregnant. Despite the fact that she cheated on him, Yoongi felt extremely sorry about Sohye. From that day, he made sure he took care of her and the child. He visited them only twice. Just after she gave birth to child and some years later. But he made sure the child never run out of necessities. Sohye was grateful for him. Then why did she do such thing?

Three days later Yoongi picked Lisa from her house around 5am. It was her idea to visit this temple in mountain. He lowered the headrest of passenger seat so Lisa can have a nap while he drive. It was 3 hours drive anyway, and Lisa needed rest.

After an hour or more to the drive, Lisa opened her eyes. She straightened herself and looked at Yoongi. He briefly looked at her and smiled.

"Woke up?"

She nodded. "It was a good one" she replied. Then she looked around. It was outskirts of the city, away from residential area. The sun was rising from the side. "Woah! So beautiful!" She said.

"Do you want to drive?" Yoongi asked.

Lisa looked at him surprised. "Really?" She never driven in a country road. Actually she was hardly allowed to drive anywhere.

"Of course"

The car was stopped on the road side and they changed the seats. Yoongi watched her drive for sometime. She was smiling to herself.'She loves it' Yoongi felt happy. 'She's like a cage bird, there are so many things she wants to do but not allowed to. Well we all are. And this the price we pay' he sighed.

"Oppa" Lisa's voice dragged him to the real world. "About that woman you told earlier, that day, umm.. Sohye.. I don't want you to see her again. And no contact at all." Her eyes glued to the road.

"Oppa, can I really trust you in this?" She asked again.

Yoongi thought for a while, 'It's not a problem to avoid Sohye, but the child? I know it is not my responsibility to look after him, but.. On the other hand I cannot lose Lisa at any cost.'

"Yeah you can" he replied.

"Oppa, I know you are worried about the child, I promise you I will take care of him just like how you did. But I don't want to see that woman anywhere near you ever again in the future."

Yoongi touched her knee softly and smiled, "Gomawo, for loving me. May be I'm really lucky to have you"

"Of course you are lucky to have me" she laughed.

Yoongi watched Lisa praying. He didn't know this kind of temple existed, but according to Lisa, it was very popular among Thai community here. Unlike normal Korean Buddhist temples, the environment and architecture look so different and luckily there's hardly any people here.

Someone tapped on his shoulder to which he turned around.

"Daebak! Suga hyung? What are you doing here?"

"B-Bambam!"

'Why is he here?' Yoongi knew it's over for them."Y-you came too?" He stammered.

"Yeah, I come here sometimes. But why hyung?" Bambam  looked front of the hall where Lisa was sitting on the floor.

"You came with Lisa noona? Wae?" Bambam looked at Lisa and again at Yoongi. "Hyung, seolma !! Are you two...?" He then covered his mouth with hand, eyes glistening with excitement.
