CHAPTER 19: DUNGEONS AND DRADUMBS

SUNNY woke up right beside AUBREY, that peacefully slept.For some reason, they weren't going to have class today, so KIM invited them to play d&d.

SUNNY got out of bed leaving AUBREY sleeping, switched his eyepatch, and started making breakfast.He made breakfast for AUBREY, BASIL, and KEL, but he himself just ate some crackers and drank some coffee.

AUBREY: *yawn* you know coffee affects your growth right?

AUBREY was out of bed, barely dressed, with only her shirt and panties on, making SUNNY blush, and cover his face.

SUNNY: A-AUBREY, y-your clothes.

AUBREY: oh!Right!Thanks for reminding me.

She quickly wore her clothes, except for her jacket.

SUNNY: aren't you going to wear your jacket?

AUBREY: nah, I'm not feeling like it.

KEL: ugh, you two were so loud last night.

SUNNY and AUBREY blushed.

SUNNY: S-sorry.

KEL: nah, it's okay, i have plans to move to CRIS's place later.

AUBREY: that's allowed?

KEL: well, you have been living here for weeks!So i guess it is.

SUNNY: huh.Neat.

AUBREY: wait, but i had to move because of the maintenance on my corridor.

KEL: AUBREY, your corridor has been fixed for 2 weeks.

AUBREY: oh crap!Really?

KEL: really.

AUBREY: I'm still going to live here.

SUNNY: aren't you two going to eat breakfast?KIM is coming soon.

They ate breakfast, and just in time for KIM to come to the dormitory with her stuff.

KIM: alright, I'm here!Everyone ready?

SUNNY: I'm ready.

AUBREY: if my sunshine's ready, them I'm ready!

KEL: ready!

BASIL: Ready for what?Oh, the d&d session was today.Let me just eat breakfast a-

KIM: Too late!You're sitting down and starving, or you bail out!

CRIS: don't you think that's too much KIM?

KIM: this is the first time in years that i got to play d&d with a lot of people!There's no time to waste!

AUBREY: at the time you two are arguing, BASIL is eating breakfast.

BASIL: Done!

SUNNY: did you taste the food?

BASIL: does that really matter?

SUNNY: a little bit, yes.

BASIL: it was good.

KIM: Food doesn't matter now!D&D MATTERS!Take those papers.Those are your character sheets.Fill them with whatever the hell you want to represent you.

(Some time later...)

KIM: are you guys done yet?

SUNNY: done.

AUBREY: Done.

CRIS: I'll use my old character, but reseted!

KEL: me too!

BASIL: I'm done!What about you KIM?

KIM: I'm the DM BASIL.I am not a character, just a narrator of everything that happens.

BASIL: interesting.

KIM: anyway, today we're playing a classicCampaign.It's called: death hunters!

KEL: didn't you say that this campaign was bad?

KIM: only if there's only 2 people playing!But now there's 5!The perfect number!

AUBREY: so that's why you didn't want to play d&d, just you and me.

SUNNY: you two played d&d?

AUBREY: yeah!When me and KIM were dating, she always wanted to play d&d!She normally called the rest of the gang!

SUNNY: Oh yeah, you two dated.

KIM: HELLO?People? Can we not talk about my love life, and start the Damm campaign?

SUNNY: sure.

KIM: THANK YOU! *Sigh*You guys enter an abandoned village, with a giant castle looming over it.You can go to the tavern, or straight up to the castle.

BASIL: is going home an option?

KIM: NO.You can go to the castle, or the tavern.

SUNNY: we should go to the tavern.

AUBREY: agreed.

KEL: agreed.

BASIL: Agreed.

CRIS: i agree.

KIM: ok, you guys enter the tavern, and an old adventurer comes near you.He says "young'ins like you shouldn't be here adventurers.You see that castle out there?It's cursed"

SUNNY: when can I stab stuff?

KIM: when you STOP INTERRUPTING THE DAMN STORY!

AUBREY: don't scream at SUNNY!

KIM: oh shut up!You didn't stand up for ME!Why do you do for him?

AUBREY: Because, you don't need me!You can hold your own ground, and you would be annoyed when i defended you!

KIM: I just wanted your support!

AUBREY: if you try to be independent about everything, i can't support you!You don't want support!

KIM: And what?He's crippled or something?

AUBREY: he's not, but i can make you!

KIM: You wanna go bitch?LET'S GO!

SUNNY held AUBREY's arm.

SUNNY: AUBREY.No.You need to calm down.

KIM: *whispers* fucking coward.

KEL: whoa, you two need to cool down.

AUBREY and KIM: SHUT UP KEL!

SUNNY: AUBREY, you can't just beat up people because they scream at me.You're 3 crimes away from being considered a risk to the state.

AUBREY: so what?As long as you're ok, I'll be fine!

SUNNY: aubs, how could I be ok knowing that you could be in danger?Doing casual small crimes is a thing, but after the MASTER BULLY incident, i worry about something happening to you every night.

SUNNY hugs AUBREY.

KIM: get a room you two!

AUBREY: you're in our room.

BASIL: i would like to announce that I'm moving to SOPHIE's dormitory.After the incident, she has been quite lonely, since most people have been avoiding her.

SUNNY: you know what that means AUBREY?

AUBREY: the dorm is all ours now.

They kiss.

KIM: I'm sorry for having that outburst.I guess sometimes, i take some stuff too far.

AUBREY: it's ok.I should be sorry for being too protective of SUNNY.I just want to keep the people i love happy.

SUNNY: you already made me a happy man just by existing.Let's tidy everything up Bubblegum?

AUBREY: i don't see why not Sunshine.

KIM: you two are too cute.I'm leaving.

KIM grabs her stuff and leaves.

KEL: welp, time for me to pack up my stuff too!

BASIL: me too.

SUNNY: Don't you guys want to stay over for lunch?

KEL: Hella yeah!

BASIL: Sure!

They ate lunch, and AUBREY and SUNNY helped KEL and BASIL pack up their stuff.

KEL: Bye AUBREY!Bye SUNNY!See you guys tomorrow!

AUBREY: Bye KEL!Bye BASIL!

BASIL: Goodbye you two, see you both tomorrow!

SUNNY: bye you guys.

They leave to their new dormitories.

SUNNY: AUBREY, now that KEL and BASIL are gone, i have a question.

AUBREY: Yes Sunshine?

SUNNY: why do you have a bunny suit?

AUBREY: W-wha?I don't have a bunny suit!

SUNNY grabs a box from the closet and opens it.

SUNNY: then what's this?

AUBREY: your birthday gift!But you'll have to wait until then to get it~

She kisses SUNNY in the cheek teasingly.

AUBREY: but now that we have the dorm all for ourselves, you know what we can do?

SUNNY: i know.

They grabbed SUNNY'S blanket, and cuddled in the couch, while watching random twotube videos.
