CHAPTER 9: time, place and feelings

AUBREY woke up, without SUNNY by her side.She wouldn't have class today as her teacher was sick.SUNNY left a note for her.

"I had to go to class, your breakfast is in the fridge, you can warm it up if you want to.Love you.SUNNY."

AUBREY then ate breakfast and started thinking about everything that happened last night.What she and SUNNY almost did.She started wondering if she hurt his feelings.She needed to talk about that to someone.

(Phone time)

AUBREY: uhh KIM.

AUBREY: i have a thing to talk about with you.

KIM: what the heck AUBREY I'm in class.

AUBREY: it's really important.

KIM: ok what is it?

AUBREY told KIM everything that happened.

KIM: oh.So did you two....

AUBREY: NO.

KIM: then why are you feeling bad?

AUBREY: i don't know.

KIM: go talk to him.It's the best thing you can do.

AUBREY: thanks KIM.

KIM: no problem.

*Click*AUBREY heard a ring.Class was over.SUNNY came back to the dorm with a cheesecake.

AUBREY: SUNNY.We need to talk about yesterday.

SUNNY: o-oh.Ok.

AUBREY: did you want to do...it?

SUNNY: ....if you don't want to do it, i don't want to do it.

AUBREY: SUNNY, i thank you for caring so much, but I need you to be honest.

SUNNY: y-yes. A little bit.

AUBREY: i did too, but everything was going so fast that i- *sigh*I don't know.I'm just glad i didn't hurt your feelings.

SUNNY: want s-some cheesecake?

AUBREY: thank you.

They ate the cheesecake together.

SUNNY then gave AUBREY a hug.

SUNNY: I'm sorry I made y-you worried.

AUBREY: No need to apologize.

AUBREY then kissed SUNNY on the cheek.

AUBREY: how about we go for a stroll in the campus?

SUNNY: S-sure.

They went for a stroll around the campus.

AUBREY: sometimes I forget how beautiful it is on the campus.

AUBREY then saw MASTER BULLY coming near them.

MASTER BULLY: well, well, well, lookee here.Trash baker and his little girlfriend.

AUBREY: what do you want.

MASTER BULLY: My money of course!Better pay up baker!

AUBREY: he's not going to give you SHIT.

MASTER BULLY: really?Let's see if that theory is right.

AUBREY: let's dance.

MASTER BULLY: I'm more into PUNCHING!

AUBREY then started fighting MASTER BULLY.

She gracefully dodged every last one of his attacks and headbutted him.He then grabbed her by the neck.

MASTER BULLY: Why is your head so DAMM HARD?Hopefully it doesn't apply to the rest!

He then started choking her.

AUBREY: u-ugh. I fucking h-hate you.

SUNNY then in a sudden attack of fury, bit MASTER BULLY's arm.

MASTER BULLY: AHHHGG!!!!!!

MASTER BULLY then left AUBREY go from his grasp and covered his hurt arm.

MASTER BULLY: THAT'S IT!I'M GETTING RID OF BOTH OF YOU!

SUNNY simply ignored MASTER BULLY and went near AUBREY.

SUNNY: A-AUBREY! A-are you ok?

AUBREY: I'm fine.How about you?

SUNNY hugged AUBREY, while MASTER BULLY was about to grab him.

PRINCIPAL: CAN I KNOW WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS?

Everything stopped.

The principal pointed at MASTER BULLY and said: YOU. MY OFFICE. NOW.And you two better watch out.

He then walked out, with MASTER BULLY right behind.

AUBREY: that was a close one.Let's go back to the dorm.

AUBREY and SUNNY went back to the dormitory.

BASIL and KEL were back.

BASIL: are you guys ok?I heard what happened.

AUBREY: I'm fine.I just need some water.

SUNNY: H-here.

AUBREY: thanks SUNNY.

KEL: you guys should watch out!If it wasn't for the principal, you two would be screwed!

AUBREY: i know KEL.But I couldn't just let him do SUNNY dirty like that.

BASIL: what matters is that both of you are fine.And that nobody got (very) hurt.

KEL: *yawn* I'm going to sleep now.Goodnight you guys.

BASIL: i am also tired.Goodnight everyone.

AUBREY: good night KEL, good night BASIL.

They both started sleeping.

AUBREY: hey SUNNY how about we-

SUNNY kissed AUBREY.

SUNNY: p-please d-don't take so much risks.I-i k-know you care about me, but I care about you t-too.

AUBREY: don't worry.I'll be fine.

SUNNY: N-NO you won't!Everything that can happen right now is just...so terrifying.

AUBREY: don't be so scared sweetie.Everything is ok.Come here.

AUBREY hugged SUNNY, and pulled him on the bed.

AUBREY: let's do it.

SUNNY: W-what?

AUBREY: I'm saying we should-Actions speak louder than words.

AUBREY took off her jacket and pulled SUNNY into a kiss.

AUBREY: you get it now silly?

SUNNY: Okay.Let's do it.
