>Overwhelmed<

Marshmallow looked terrifyingly up at Balloon, who looked menacing from her point of view. "I have a question for yo-.." Balloon stopped as she slammed the door on his face, and you could hear scurrying from inside the room. He sighed, what was wrong now?Did his breath stink or something?

He slowly put his knuckle against the door and knocked like a gentleman, "May I ask thee a question?" He facepalmed and his face flushed a little in embarrassment. The door slowly creaked open and Apple looked at him, "What." She said sternly. Balloon gulped and went; "Can I ask Marshmallow just ONE question?" Balloon shifted his feet as Apple looked away then back at him.

"...no."

SLAM!

—Fan wondered the halls blindingly texting on his phone, He went past Balloon who was for some reason talking to a door, then noticed Fan and went pale. Huh, wonder what's up with him. Fan went down to the lobby and went into the kitchen to grab whatever wasn't eaten already.

As he was trying his best to reach the back of the top shelve in the fridge, he heard someone say behind him, "Do you know where Cheesy went?" He didn't care, instead he grabbed a frozen pizza from the fridge and put it in the microwave.

He sat at the table eating his pizza when Balloon appeared from the stairs, some reason the Cheese toppings on the pizza were really strong. It made him cringe at times. Then YinYang appeared from the stairs; "We haven't seen Cheesy anywhere OJ!" Yang panicked as Yin didn't care.

"Pfft what if Soap turned him into a pizza again." knife leaned against a wall, looking tired with the large bags under his eyes. Then everyone turned to Fan who was mid way eating the food, he froze with the slice hanging out his mouth and sweat forming from his sides.

"Great... I was right wasn't I?" Knife took himself off the wall and slammed his fists against the table, causing Fan to flinch in surprise. "So Fan where did you get this pizza?" Knife glared into Fans soul and his hands begun to tremble.

"Ugh.. the freezer? Where all the food is." Fan swallowed the slice and was going to pick another piece before Knife snatched it from the plate and ate it in front of him. Knife cringed from the strength of the cheese, he wiped his eyes and turned to the others in the lobby;"Here we have my fellow objects, is a actual Cheesy Pizza."

-"Is he gone?" Marshmallow whispered from under the table. "Yup" Apple said annoyingly, "What's your deal with him anyway? You keep eyeing him when we walk past him." Apple sighed and sorted out her leaf. "N- nothing! I just don't like the vibe he gives off.... Because y'know... he murdered Microphone and that." Marshmallow crawled from under the table and dusted off her knees.

"Right I understand that, but doesn't he want to redeem himself again?" Apple walked over to the marshmallow and wiped a piece of dust off her face. "I dunno, I just don't like him at the minuet." Marshmallow itched her arm and lightly smiled at Apple."Well there has to be a reason!" Apple begun getting irritated.

"Trust me this isn't work talking about! Once this is all over and we go back to the mansion and we could just forget all this!" Marshmallow bellowed and the two of them went silent, glaring at each other. Apple raised her finger to speak but they were cut off as a slam was heard downstairs. They eyed the door and their skin crawled.

-Knife smashed Fans plate by throwing it on the floor, "Do all of you guys seriously not care!?" Knife deeply inhaled through his nose while closing his eyes, rubbing his eyebrows, "If Balloon d- didn't do it.... Who did?.." Yang stuttered, and that caught everyone off guard since he was never caught afraid or overwhelmed, or even on the verge of tears.

"It was obviously Soap, if she's killed Cheesy once making a pizza, she would obviously do it again." Baseball was heard from the couch, sitting next to YinYang. Everyone whispered and turned their heads to Soap who entered from the kitchen, she wiped her face with a cloth and stopped in her tracks as everyone stared at her. "What?" She asked.

"Did you kill Cheesy and turn him into a pizza again?" Knife threateningly walked over to her, cracking his knuckles. Soap stumbled back, "What!? No! I'm lactose intolerant!" She dropped the towel in her hand from fear."That doesn't mean you couldn't have." Knife clenched his teeth, "Now own up before you get yourself hurt-..""Maybe it wasn't her then!" Baseball then spoke up, cutting mid way through Knifes sentence.

"That's r- right! I didn't do it! Ask Balloon he's the one who's killed people before, he hasn't said he's stopped once yet!" Soap cowardly pointed at Balloon, Balloon's eyes widened, everyone's eyes on him and he begun to stammer as Knife approached him. "I- I didn't do anything! I wasn't down here at all yesterday! Plus I haven't seen Cheesy in ages... we don't talk."Balloon cowered, Knife looking down at him intimidatingly.

"Well who else could it have been?" Knife shoved Balloon against a wall and Balloon hissed from the pain. "A- ask Marshmallow!" Balloon called out, before slapping his mouth shut with his hands, did he seriously just blame Marshmallow in fear? What's gotten into him?Knife took a step away from Balloon against the wall, "Marshmallow?" Knife contemplated for a second, before grabbing Balloon by the wrist and taking him upstairs towards Marshmallows room.

As Knife aggressively pulled Balloon with him, they noticed Marshmallow talking with Paintbrush, until she noticed Balloon and ran inside her room and slammed the door shut.Fan was quietly and distantly walking behind them, he was going to watch what was going to go down even if it killed him.

"What the-.." Paintbrush hissed as Knife pushed past them. "Open this damn door!" Knife slammed his fist into the door, while hearing scattering from within the room. "Open this door before I break it open!" Knife then kicked it, yelling curses at Marshmallow on the other side.

Behind them, Paintbrush and Fan were standing next to each other watching in disbelief. "What's... going on!?" Paintbrush suddenly turned to Fan and screamed in his face, causing Fan to flinch and stumble back. "Uhh-... Long story- Somehow I ate Cheesy's without out knowing then I got blamed so then Soap got blamed then she blamed Balloon and Balloon then blamed Marshmallow. All because I ate a pizza which is somehow Cheesy? I dunno"

Paintbrush glared at Fan, obviously contemplating. Before they could scream or say anything they noticed Marshmallow being dragged away by Knife, while failing at punching Knife to get him to let go. "W- wait! Let's talk about this Knife!-.." Paintbrush pushed Fan out the way to catch up with them, "She hasn't done anything I swear!" They walked besides Balloon, Fan trying to catch up to them. "I didn't but get HIM away from me!" Marshmallow pointed her finger to Balloon, the five of them walking down the stairs back down to the lobby.

"Why don't you like me!? I've done nothing wrong!" Balloon screamed out. "NOTHING WRONG!? You've killed people!" Marshmallow yelled at him, Balloon looked away with disgust on his face. "Knife please! Don't do this, you have no proof it was her!" Paintbrush grabbed Knifes arm, a slight glow looming from their bristles.

Knife shoved them off him, "Alright then, let's see here... One. She's been isolating herself, Two. Maybe like, how she's been acting? Who acts like that normally? And finally Three. I don't care and I just want this over already, if it isn't her, we'll see if no one dies after she's gone."

-The sudden thump of Marshmallows face hitting the grass shivered the spines of many. "Good riddance!" Knife slammed the front door of the hotel, Marshmallow looked up from the ground to see the field in complete disbelief and she turned around after hearing Paintbrush open the door and walk out after her.

"Marshy?" Paintbrush asked, kneeling down to her on the ground, "I don't know what's going on.. but I know it wasn't you." "Thank you.. I.." She looked away, wiping her face and looking back, "I'll come back to get you in a while, we can leave this hell-hole with Apple and go to the mansion. Leave this behind us and forget everyone." She smiled, grabbing their hands, Paintbrush smiled and embraced her on a hug, they weren't one for hugs, but they needed one now.

"I'm going to get answers, hopefully.." She stood up, leaving the hug. She begun walking backwards down the the forest but Paintbrush followed after her. "I can just come with you now! And we can get Apple later." Paintbrush grabbed her hand on their last effort to keep her with them. "They need you here Paintbrush, I'll be back soon." She smiled and pulled her hand out their grasp, before waving and disappearing into the woods.

Paintbrush slowly waved as they lost view of her, "Paint-.. Brush?" They suddenly heard Fan from not to far away from them. Their smile faded and their bristles started flowing once again, the wind begun picking up they slowly turned around."Paintbrush I'm sorry.." Fan stammered, watching as they approached him with clenching fists.

Fan shakily watched and they begun laughing, their shadow looming over him. "You're.. sorry? ...do you know what you've just done?" They stepped back, holding their head, "I- I have nothing now- First Lightbulb won't look at me then Marshmallow gets kicked out.. ..all because of you" They took their hands away from the sides of their face and looked at him.

"Paintbrush I-.." Fan was cut off as Paintbrush suddenly tackled Fan on the ground, holding a fist above his head. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN TO SHUT UP DO YOU!?" Paintbrush raged out, their bristles settling ablaze.The wind beginning to grow harsher, as if it were a paid actor.

Fan wasn't normally scared when Paintbrush set off on one, but this time they seemed as if they were going to kill him for real this time. "Ah- look at this.. what's next, do they kiss?" Someone was heard from behind them, Paintbrush's flame disappeared as they heard her voice. They looked behind her, absolutely terrified as they saw Taco was a bat, she had that still manic look on her face.

And she had just knocked both of them out with it while the two of them were frozen in fear.
