"jimin? are you okay?" yoongi asked, opening his door to a teary eyed jimin.

jimin walked in and yoongi shut the door behind him.

"what happened?"

jimin looked up at him, desperately trying not to cry. he wanted to speak but he knew he would start balling. so instead, he just leaned in and hugged yoongi, tightly.

yoongi hugged him back, confused as to what was going on.

"it's almost two in the morning. did something happen with joon?"

jimin nodded into yoongi's arm. yoongi could feel the wetness on his sleeve from jimin's tears, that he was obviously trying to hide.

"it's okay to cry, jimin. just tell me what happened," yoongi said, pulling jimin's head up and looking at him.

"i-i saw a text on his phone. it was from hye-jin," jimin said, blinking his eyes as more tears fell out.

"what? what did it say?"

"s-she asked when he was coming over a-and it was like one in the morning and she- she said she missed him," jimin said, covering his eyes as more tears streamed out.

"what? that doesn't make any sense. he loves you. a lot."

"i-i can't- i-i don't know what's going on-"

yoongi watched as jimin broke apart, not quite knowing what to say to the poor boy. usually he was good at giving advice, but he honestly had no clue what jimin should do.

"jimin, just calm down. maybe there's a reason they're talking aside from hooking up. maybe they're just trying to get closure or something. maybe she wants him still and he's trying to shut it down."

"i don't know, yoongi. w-why would she text him in the middle of the night? a-and it was right after..."

"after what?"

"right after we... we had sex. he said he loved me. he said that he'd never look anywhere else," jimin said, tears streaming down his cheeks at a faster pace.

"jimin, you're probably just traumatized. you saw the text after such a pivotal moment in your relationship and it scared you. there's no hard proof that he's cheating, so don't freak out, okay? just calm down, get some rest, and we can deal with it tomorrow. everything's gonna be fine."

"how can you say that? how is everything just gonna be okay? i love him, yoongi."

"jimin, do you remember what i told you before you and joon got together? i told you something important and i said that i would only say it once."

"yeah, i remember, but-"

"no. what did i say?"

"you said i don't need him, but-"

"no, jimin. say it."

"yoongi, this is-"

"say it."

"i don't need him," jimin said, softly.

"louder."

"i don't need him," jimin said, at his normal talking level.

"again."

"i don't need him," jimin said, even louder, finally feeling the affect of his own words.

"that's right. you don't. you don't fucking need anyone. your happiness is in you, jimin. i know it seems awful now and like you'll never get over it, but you'll be okay. whether joon was unfaithful or not- you'll always be there for yourself, okay? and you'll always have me, and hoseok, and jin, and your family. you're never gonna be alone, alright? just calm down and gets some sleep. we'll figure everything out tomorrow."

jimin just nodded, letting the last of his tears fall. he found yoongi's words surprisingly comforting, but at the same time, he could still feel the anxiety shooting through him about joon. he was still a bit tipsy from drinking so much with namjoon, and he was also exhausted, so he figured he should get some sleep and just figure everything out in the morning.

-

the next morning, jimin woke up with a pounding headache. yoongi had already checked on him and ran off to get him some meds.

jimin was thinking over everything that happened the night prior, feeling the tears return to his eyes the more he thought about it.

he didn't want to believe it was real. jimin had so much trust with him and he knew that joon cared about him. but at the same time, he saw the texts and it was hard to just forget about them. it's not like hye-jin knew that he would be looking at joon's phone.

yoongi walked in with some pills and water, seeing a teary eyed jimin laying in his bed.

he immediately put down the materials for jimin and sat down beside him.

"i know it hurts," yoongi said, shushing him and running his fingers through jimin's hair.

jimin just nodded and shut his eyes, trying to stop the constant flow of tears.

"did he text you?"

"i-i didn't check-"

jimin pulled his phone out of his pocket and saw that joon had been blowing his phone up.

joonie💓where the hell are you?? did u look at my phone? jimin this is stupid.it's not what u think.i already told you that i don't care about her.where are u?jimin??are you okay? call me!!

he also saw that he had almost twenty missed calls.

he handed the phone to yoongi, sighing and flopping back down on the bed.

"do you believe him?"

"i-i think so."

"you remember what else i said, chim? about trust. a relationship is nothing without it."

"i-i know. i just- i think i was just scared. i do trust him."

"jimin, if you trusted him you wouldn't have been so upset last night."

"no- no, it's not like that. i just- i was sort of drunk and i just wasn't thinking right. i saw the text and the only thing that came to my mind was him with hye-jin."

"well, if you're sure. do you want me to take you home?"

"no... i have to go to work," jimin said, sighing.

"you want me to drive you?"

"sure, if you can."

jimin quickly texted joon, saying that they would talk later and began freshening up for work.

-

yoongi dropped jimin off at work and jimin thanked him for the ride.

jimin still had thoughts of namjoon lingering through his head. he really wasn't sure how he felt about the whole situation. he really wanted to trust him, but it was hard. jimin was way more insecure about the whole hye-jin and joon thing then he thought he was.

maybe there was a possibility that jimin hadn't fully moved past it.

maybe he hadn't fully moved on like he thought he had.

-

jimin was only at work for about twenty minutes, but he had already managed to explain everything to hoseok and jin. hye-jin, on the other hand, had spent the entire time in the back, most likely trying to avoid jimin. he really didn't mind, though, cause jimin really didn't want to see her either.

as soon as he said something about her, he knew he should have knocked on wood, because only about one minute later, hye-jin walked out.

"you have a lot of nerve coming out here," hoseok said, glaring at her.

"i have no idea what your talking about, hoseok, but it would smart of you to keep your big nose out of other peoples buisne-"

hye-jin immediately stopped when she saw who walked into the shop.

it was namjoon.

"you fucking cunt," namjoon said, angrily.

"joonie, long time no see," she said, smiling.

"don't you dare. don't you fucking dare. you knew it was me and jimin's anniversary last night. that's why you fucking texted me. you wanted him to see it."

"i don't know what you're talking about."

"cut the shit. you know i don't care about you, so stop fucking with me and jimin."

"i'd rather die than fuck either of you," she said, with a snicker.

"oh really? that's not what your texts from last night said."

jin let out a small "ohhhh" in the background, hoseok and jimin just staring in shock at the confrontation.

"well, i may have overheard a few idiotic birdies say that you two had your anniversary last night," she said, staring at the three boys behind the counter.

"why? why the fuck do care about me and jimin so much? you're the one screwed me over. you cheated on me."

"oh, i screwed you over? you never gave a shit about me. you were just using me."

"how can you even say that? you were literally dating yoongi the whole time you were with me."

"how the hell do you know about yoongi?"

suddenly someone walked in.

"hey, jimin, you forgot your phone in my- oh shit," yoongi said, looking up at the scene that was playing out.

"yoongi?" hye-jin said, confused.

"hye-jin?"

there was an awkward moment of silence where all of them were just looking at each other, clearly shocked.

"just quit working here, hye-jin. leave jimin and me alone."

"hell no. getting to work here and boss jimin around all the time is amazing. what could be better?"

"you bitch," yoongi said, looking at her right in the eyes.

"stay the fuck out of this, yoongi. you weren't even involved in this anyways. i was just fucking around with you until i found someone better."

namjoon clenched his fists, trying so hard not to punch the girl right in the face.

"you better shut the fuck up and get the hell out of here before i take your disgusting ass and-" namjoon was interrupted by jimin's boss coughing loudly.

"get out of my shop. now," he said, looking directly at joon.

"sir, he was just-" jimin tried to defend joon, but his boss wasn't having it.

"would you like to go with him?" he asked, angrily.

jimin just shook his head and looked down at his feet.

"serves you right," hye-jin said, laughing to herself.

"i wouldn't be so cocky. i want you to leave as well."

"what? i'm working today."

"no you're not. you're fired."

"what?"

jimin, hoseok, jin, yoongi, and namjoon were shocked, huge smiles appearing on each of their faces.

"yeah. you've been treating jimin and the rest of my boys like shit since the day you got here. i want you gone."

"but, sir, jimin was-"

"get out," he said, pointing at the door, "you too," he said, to namjoon, "that's enough drama in my establishment."

namjoon ran over to jimin, grabbed onto his chin, and angled his face up.

"i love you, okay? we'll talk when you get home."

"o-okay. i love you too," jimin said, softly.

both namjoon and hye-jin walked out, quickly, not wanting jimin's boss to kill them.

"damn, jimin. i didn't realize you were so popular. all this fuss over you," the boss said, shaking his head.

jimin ran over to him and hugged him tightly.

"thank you," he said, smiling.

mr.bang just laughed, hugging jimin back.

"no problem."

jin and hoseok eventually joined, all of them feeling beyond happy that hye-jin was finally gone.

"the bitch is gone!" hoseok, yelled, happily.

they all just laughed, jimin suddenly remembering that yoongi was still standing there.

jimin turned around, quickly, running over to him and leaning in for a hug.

"i'm sorry about what she said. she's awful, yoongi. you're amazing."

"t-thanks, chim."

"and thanks for bringing my phone," jimin said, laughing and taking it from him.

"if only i had come a few minutes earlier."

"yeah, at least you got to watch all the drama unfold," jimin said, laughing.

jimin turned around and saw that jin and hoseok were just standing there, watching the two.

"oh, guys! this is yoongi, the guy i keep talking about," jimin said motioning them over.

"oh, hey yoongi. i'm jin," he said smiling and offering a hand.

yoongi took it and smiled.

"and, hoseok, this is yoongi," jimin said, nonchalantly.

yoongi looked up and met eyes with hoseok, his mouth parting slightly.

both of them just stood there for a moment, looking at each other.

"guys?" jimin asked, clearly confused.

"sorry," yoongi said, breaking eye contact, "i'm yoongi. min yoongi."

hoseok just laughed a little bit and looked down at his feet, then back up.

"i'm hoseok. jung hoseok," he said, mocking him.

yoongi just laughed slightly, getting lost in hoseok's eyes once again.

jin just sat there, a stupid smirk on his face.

jimin was just confused, clearly not picking up on anything that was going on, until jin gave him 'the look' and he finally understood.

"well, i'll call you later, yoongi. thanks for bringing my phone for me," jimin said, feeling a bit awkward.

"oh, yeah. no problem," he said, "would it be alright if i used your bathroom quick?"

"oh yeah, of course," jimin said, telling him where to go.

yoongi headed off and their boss walked over to them.

"well, i'm glad we got everything worked out," he said, patting jimin's back.

"yeah, us too," jimin said, smiling.

the four of them talked for a minute, laughing at how everything played out.

"i am a little sad, though. i really liked having four employees. it was nice that everything was getting done around here."

right as he said that, yoongi walked out of the restroom.

"i'm heading out. see you guys," yoongi said, heading to the door.

"wait!" jimin yelled, running towards him.

he pulled him back to the group and pushed him right next to hoseok.

"there's your fourth employee right there!" jimin said, excitedly.

"wait, what? does he even wanna work here?"

"i mean... i already have a job," yoongi said, thinking it over.

he glanced to hoseok and saw a sad look on his face.

"but i can quit," yoongi said, smiling.

"great. you're hired."

their boss walked off and the boys were left to celebrate.

"yay! i can't believe you're gonna work here!" jimin said, leaning in for a hug.

yoongi hugged him back, resting his chin on jimin's shoulder. when he opened his eyes, hoseok was standing in front of him, smiling.

"me neither," he said, smiling back.
