07:12, 31 July 2024The next month or so, Jules and Miguel trained harder than they did before. They practiced all they could and usually whenever they could, Jules had to be sneaky. She never used the house for practice unless she knew her mother wasn't there, Jules trained off and on. Working her hardest at the dojo and when she wasn't but not all of the lessons were fun.
Jules still had the bruises from the time he used a tennis ball machine to shoot tennis ball at them. Johnny said it was to help them learn how to defend but Jules thought he just liked to shoot the balls at them, or the time where Johnny held them in a headlock yelling at them "what does a Cobra do?" Over and over again.
Even though these training sessions weren't the most fun, Jules grew stronger over time. She started striking first instead of waiting, her stamina and endurance improved, and she felt happier. Her and Miguel started training and hanging out more.

They stood in the dojo, Jules watched as Miguel was practicing with Johnny. She had taken a break and was chugging down some water as Miguel was actually putting up a good fight. She watched as Miguel pushed back against Johnny before dropping to the ground and sweeping his legs, Johnny sat up and pressed a button.
A baseball flew out of the machine and hit Miguel right in the ear, the boy fell to the ground whimpering as he held his ear.
"What? What the hell?" He whimpered. "That...that wasn't fair."
Jules walked up to the boy as Johnny got back on his feet. She leaned down next to Miguel.
"You want a fair fight? Dream on. You can't always think your enemies are gonna play by the rules." Johnny answered
"Yeah, but his ear." Jules asked as she pulled back his hand, his ear was red and would definitely be bruised
"What if that baseball was your enemy's friend at you from behind? You have to be prepared for everything."
Jules got up and sighed, "I'll go get some ice."
She turned and started walking into Johnny's office, she reached his fridge and pulled an ice pack from the fridge as the door rang.
"Hello. It's 5:00. Twilight is upon us." Jules heard as she walked out seeing a group of women walk in
"What's going on?" Miguel asked as they woman continued to pour in
Jules was confused as well, she walked up to her mentor and Miguel. Johnny stared at the ground for a bit before answering.
"Uh, I had to sublet the dojo for a few hours. Just till we get more students." He answered almost ashamedly
Jules turned as she heard the woman talking, "we need to change the energy in here." The girl rolled her eyes as the woman put a sign over the Cobra Kai motto
Music began to play as they started their yoga, Jules gave the ice pack to Miguel as she watched the scene unfold not sure what to do or think.

Jules found herself doing the same at the dojo the next day. She was standing next to Miguel practicing her punches as Miguel practiced with Johnny.
"What's the second rule of the Way of the Fist?" Johnny asked pointing over to the wall
"Strike hard." His two students called back
"That's right." Johnny moved as Miguel threw a kick at him before going back to practicing. "There's only one reason to hit someone. To inflict pain. Striking hard is about giving your all."
Jules clenched her hand and jabbed harder, hearing Miguel's breathing becoming more labored. The sound of the door opening pulled them from their session. Johnny relaxed and the two teens looked confusedly at each other, Miguel whipped around to see who was entering. Jules rolled her eyes sure that it was those yoga freaks again.
"What the hell." Johnny hissed out before walking closer to the door. "No Yoga till five, no matter how bad you need it."
Jules eyes furrowed as she saw someone she wasn't expecting. Aisha stood at the door, she looked down at the grown. The girl felt bad for Aisha, she really didn't deserve any of what people did to her. Jules had saw the "miss piggy" thing people had been saying to her and Aisha didn't deserve it.
"Um, I'm actually here for karate." Aisha answered before smiling. "I saw your website."
Jules smiled and hit Miguel's arm, the boot looked over and a smile appeared. He let out a laugh and shook his head.
"It said that there was supposed to be a session today." Aisha said and Johnny nodded. "I appreciate you coming in, but there are no girls in Cobra Kai."
That took Jules aback, her face twisted in confusion. She lifted her finger and pointed at herself.
"Sensei, then what am I?" She asked but Johnny just ignored her, Miguel let out a laugh and Jules elbowed him
"Then what is Jules doing in here?" Aisha asked pointing over at the other girl and Jules nodded
Johnny shook his head as he looked back at Jules. "She's making a point to her mother, she's not an actual student here."
Jules scoffed at that, so what was she paying him for? Then Jules realized that he was kinda true. If Victoria hadn't been so controlling, Jules probably wouldn't be here.
"Why not then?" Aisha crossed her arms
Johnny answered coldly. "Same reason there aren't women in the army. Doesn't make sense."
Miguel and Jules cringed at that, their eyes went wide as Miguel said something. "Uh, Sensei, I need to show you something in the office."
Jules watched as the two started walking away, they both quickly bowed and continued into the office. She only dared to move when the boys were no longer within an eyeshot or earshot. Jules walked forward towards Aisha, the two girls smiled at each other.
"How's it going stranger?" Jules said first, Aisha laughed and shrugged. "It's been worse but it's been better."
Jules gave the girl a small smile, Aisha had a sad smile. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay." Aisha shook her head
Jules looked back at the office before saying. "I'm sure he'll let you in."
"What?"
"Sensei might be a little not with the times but he's coming around. Hell he let me in."
"I was going to ask, I wasn't expecting to see you here. Isn't your mom-?"
"Anti-Cobra Kai? Yeah but as Johnny said, I'm making a point."
Jules looked back at the office waiting for Johnny and Miguel to come back out. She was hoping for good news because she didn't know how she'd react if Johnny didn't let Aisha in.
"Where's Sam?" Jules asked confused, Aisha and Sam were literally best friends. Aisha shook her head. "Probably out with her new friends."
It went silent between the two girls. Jules felt bad for asking that question and Aisha just looked around the dojo before whistling.
"Wow." She said sarcastically. "This is a ritzy place."
Jules agreed and added. "It's one of the best quality dojo's I've ever seen."
They giggled and Jules turned her head to see the two boys walking out of the office. Jules smiled, crossing her fingers and walked back to them. She locked eyes with Miguel and leaned closer to him.
"How'd it go?" She whispered
He gave her a small smile, "I think I changed his mind."
Jules let out a breath as a smile crossed her face. She turned around and looked at Aisha, Miguel and Jules walked to the side as Johnny stood in the center.
"Okay, take off your shoes. Hop on the mat." Johnny told the girl, Aisha kicked off her shoes and walked onto the mat in front of Johnny. "Ok, after further review, I've decided to allow female students."
Jules fist pumped and let out a 'yes' under her breath, Miguel chuckled and hit her arm telling her to stop.
"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, I've decided to allow female students but if you want to be in Cobra Kai, you can't act like a girl."
"What do you mean? How do girls act?" Aisha shot back
"Don't give me that. You know, all emotional, loud, complain-y, never letting you finish a sentence." Johnny looked over at the two teens at the last part, Jules quickly looked away
"Well, I know a few guys who act just-"
"QUIET!" Johnny yelled before she could finish her sentence, he then started pacing back and forth. "My student tells me you've been harassed at school."
Jules's heart stopped, both her and Aisha look at Miguel. His eyes flickered between Jules and Aisha seeing the hurt in their eyes. Miguel gulped and his eyes flickered away.
"Yeah." Aisha answered sadly. "Mostly online. Um, I get mean texts and emails sent to me. Makes me not wanna go."
"And who sends you these messages?"
"Well, they're mostly anonymous. These kids create fake accounts, and they tell me things like I'm ugly and that I should kill myself."
Jules couldn't look at Aisha, she could feel the hurt and the pain that Aisha felt. The girl gulped and took a breath to keep her emotions. Johnny stopped in front of Aisha.
"Oh my God." Jules looked up hoping that her Sensei had finally seen the error in his ways. "What a bunch of pussies! Back in my day, if you wanted to tease someone, you did it to their face. There was honor, respect. These geeks hiding behind their computers. What a bunch of spineless losers, you're not afraid of these losers are you?"
Somehow, through the wrong way, Johnny was getting to a message. Jules furrowed her eyebrows, he did have a point.
"No." Aisha answered
"You gonna take shit from these losers?" Johnny started hyping the girl up, Jules smiled at her Sensei
"No." Aisha shook her head
"Good, because when I'm done with you, you're gonna be sending a message back. Only it's not gonna be with your keyboard, it's gonna be with your fists." Johnny brought his hands up
