Synopsis and cast

Julie (Jules) Barron-Monroe is as normal as a 15 year old girl can get with a mother stuck in her golden days of Karate. All she wants is a normal life and hope for a year with no drama at school.

When a new dojo opens up, one that Jules's mother told her not to get involved with. Jules does just that and finds a family of her own, a Sensei not caught up on the past, a boy that she likes, and a rival between a Barron and a LaRusso. Will Jules have a quiet year or will she step out of her comfort zone?
