Chapter 10

**so sorry I haven't updated sooner!! But here is the newest chapter... Enjoy!!!**

Liam

*beep beep beep beep*

I shut the alarm off and roll over to wrap my arms around Jasmine. Her spot is cold. I open my eyes to see that she is nowhere to be found in our room. So I slowly get out of bed and walk into the living room area. I have this feeling that something could be wrong.

My heart quickens. The motel door is unlocked. I slowly open it and squint my eyes because of the light, and shut the door. Man is it bright out.

I start to worry as I walk around the whole motel room. And trust me, it didn't take long.

She is nowhere to be found. My heart is starting to race. I try to think positive. Maybe she went to the store, or had to run some errand. But, I start to get negative. What if Dimitri found her. She could be in so much pain right now. I cringed. I shouldn't think of that until there is no other option.

I step outside again. I'm use to the light now. I take a deep breath and look around the parking lot and I see her car is still here. I start to panic. I look around on the balcony here and see a cloth on the floor. I pick it up. I freeze and drop the cloth again.

Dimitri found her.

I run inside and go to Skylar's room. She is peacefully sleeping. I sigh. Wait. Why would he only take Jasmine? Wouldn't he want to take Skylar too?

*a few hours later*

"Leeyum? Where's mommy?" Skylar asks sadly. I frown.

"She had to run some errands for the day." I need to find her soon. I can't lie to Skylar.

"I miss her."

"I miss her too." I hug Skylar and kiss the top of her head.

"Hey Leeyum?"

"What?"

"I love you." I hug her tighter.

"I love you too." I kiss the top of her head again. A few minutes later she falls asleep in my arms. I put her in her bed in the motel room and go back into the living room.

*ring ring ring*

I grab my phone and look at the caller id. My heart quickens and I fumble to answer it. As I answer it I run outside.

"Hello? Jazz? Are you okay?" I say quickly. She starts to cry. I start to tear up. "Hey, what happened? Where are you?" I need to know where she is so I can save her.

"I... don't... know...." She managed to get out in between sobs.

"Okay, What happened?" I clench my fist to think of the worst.

"Dimitri..... H-... H-he found me." Jazz say while crying even more. My worst thought was true. I start to quietly cry. I need to stat strong for Jasmine.

"How?" I ask breathy as I continue to quietly cry..

"I-I don't know." She stutters. I shake my head. He must've drugged her.

"Listen, I'm gonna call Paul. Have him try to track your phone. Stay on the line for a few more minutes." I inform her. I give her hope because that's all I can give her. She whimpers. If he touched her I am going to flip. "What's wrong? Did he hit you?" I asked through clenched teeth.

"I think he stabbed my leg, and maybe my arm. I'm not sure, but there's a lot of blood." She starts sobbing more. I make a fist with my free hand and slam the side of the motel with it. I calm down a little.

"Hey, hey, I'm here, I'm gonna get help. And we'll lock up Dimitri as soon as possible." I convince her. I need to stay positive for her.

"Okay. Please hurry." She croaked the last part.

"I will. Jazz?" I need to say this. I feel like she needs to know.

"What?"

"I-I... I love you" I stutter. I hear her start to cry. Tears stream down my face.

"I..... I love you too...." She managed to say as she bursted into tears. I start to cry even more. I hear a muffled noise in the background. "I have to go, they may find out I called you. Bye Liam." No don't go.

"I'll find help. I promise." I say to her as she hangs up the phone. I clench my phone as I kneel down onto the floor and cry harder. I could've protected her. I could've prevented this. Now she is suffering badly. I promised her that I would keep her safe. I failed. And now she is in immense pain.

I need to save her. I have to. I need to see her face and tell her I love her to her beautiful face. To hear her say she loves me too just made my stomach flip.

I stand up. Wipe my cheeks and dial up Paul.

"Hey Paul. I need your help." Crap, How do I tell Paul this. I walk back into the motel room and pace around.

"What's going on?" Paul asked concerned. I take a deep breath.

"I need you to track this girls phone. She is in trouble. I promised to help her."

"Liam, you are suppose to be in hiding. Who is this girl anyways?" Paul asks confused.

"I know. I still am in hiding. I met this girl that is also staying here at the motel. She and I got to know each other very well. She just left her now ex-boyfriend because he abused her and their daughter. And she was running away from him with her daughter. A-and h-he found her. A-and he t-...took her." I start to cry.

"Wait? This guy took her back?" I start to calm down.

"Yeah, he kidnapped her. Now she is somewhere in a cold dark place, bleeding. Crying out in pain. I need you to track her phone. She called me not too long ago." I start babbling on and on.

"Okay, Liam I will track her phone. i will come and pick it up. What about her daughter?"

"She is here with me. They've been living in my motel room." I say fast. "You need to hurry. He could kill her."

"Okay, Liam. I'm on my way." Paul says fast. I hang up the phone. I hear a door opening.

"Leeyum. I'm hungry." Skylar says sleeply while rubbing her eyes. I chuckle.

"Okay, I'll make you something." I walk into the kitchen and make her some macaroni and cheese.

"Where is mommy?" Sky asks while taking a bite of her food. I frown. How do I explain this to a four year old.

"Mommy is in trouble." I say sadly. Sky looks at me.

"What kind of trouble?" She asked confused.

"Your daddy, he kidnapped her." My eyes get glossy.

"But why?" Skylar asks sadly. I look into her eyes and see her tearing up.

"He is a mean person." I say while crying. Sky starts to cry. I hug her and just hold her while she crys. I cry with her.

"Is she gonna be okay?" She said in between sobs.

"I don't know." Thats all I managed to say.

"Is he going to try to take me?" Sky asks all worried.

"No. I won't let him. I will protect you until he is locked up. I love you very much." I reassure her. She hugs me tightly.

"I love you too, Daddy." I hug her tighter. I wish I was her dad, but to hear her call me that just made me want to hold onto her more.

Jasmine

I jolt awake. That was a nightmare. I looked around me, confused as to where I was. I whimper. That nightmare was real. I start to cry a little. No. I can't cry anymore. I can't show him that I am weak. I need to be strong. I need to show no weakness to him. I am suddenly pulled from my thoughts as the door opens. Someone is coming down the stairs and I can't see who it is.

"Here's some breakfast." A monotone guy voice booms. He sets down a tray in front of me. On it sits a bagel, a banana, and a glass of milk.

"Thanks." I say very low as I grab the bagel. The guy looks up at the door then back down at me.

"Do you remember me?" He asks curiously. I look at him and try to decipher. I shake my head. "Oh, well, I'm Jordan. Remember, Dimitri's best friend." I look at him with wide eyes and try sliding away from him. My back hits the wall.

"Stay away from me." I warn him. He puts his hands up. I flinch.

"Whoa, calm down. I promise I won't hit you." I start to relax.

"What do you want?" I snarl at him.

"Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't know Dimitri did this to you. I thought you walked out on him for no reason. And I would just like to apologize to you about that."

"This doesn't change anything. I am still here. Practically dying I might add. Eating crappy food, laying on cold cement, chained to a fuckin' wall." I whisper yell at him.

"Yeah, I see that. And I'm sorry, but I can't change anything. Dimitri would kill me." He pleads to me. I scuff.

"Then your apology wasn't worth it. It will never change anything. Saying it makes no difference what so ever." I say to him while trying to cross my arms. I whimper because I can't move my right arm. Jordan sighs, and slowly leaves. Right after he shuts the door I start to cry hard. I pound my fist to the floor no matter if it hurts or not.

"Liam please hurry." I whisper as I lay here crying in pain and agony.

Hey guys :) I'm so sorry I haven't update much! I've bee really busy! Anyways, I literally cried while typing this chapter. Tell me your thoughts on it.

I have decided I'm gonna try to make a plan of when I will update this story, because it's hard trying to do two stories at once. So, I'll update at least once a week. But, I'll try to assign a specific day that I will update. Anyways, I hope you liked this chapter.
