"MIN YOUNG-AH!" Byung Do enters the room uninvited an wraps his arms around me tightly.

His body covers mine for less than a second as I feel him being pulled away.

"Yah! Who told you to come in?!" Hyuk Jae yells at Byung Do, standing in front of me.

"What is wrong with you?!" Byung Do stares at me with a frown. "I told you not to come here! You were supposed to be back more than 3 hours ago! Do you know how fucking worried I was?!"

I flinch at his harsh voice when I hear him gasp.

"Wh-what is that?" He points to Hyuk Jae's...back. "what..."

"I can ex--" I stop myself. Why should I explain? It's not like I'm cheating on him. We are not even together! So what is he so mad about?! I DON'T BELONG TO HIM!!

"I like to call them passion marks." Hyuk Jae smirks.

I blush at his words.

"What?!" Byung Do takes a step forwards.

He looks at Hyuk Jae. "I don't care what you think you had with Min Young-ah last night, but I can assure you," he looks at me "it won't happen again."Enough.

"That is none of your business." I take a step towards him. "What gives you the right to decide who I fuck with or not? You," i point at him "out of every single man in this world have the least right over me."

"Min Young-ah..."

"Whatever, let's go. I say putting on a random coat and heading to the door.

"Detect--"

"Hyuk Jae-ssi," I say without turning around, "what you said today...I'll answer later. For now," I turn around, "I promise I will catch you."

Hyuk Jae smirks and nods.

I turn around and leave, Byung Do close behind me.

Back at Byung Do's Office...

"Did you get more info. on Lee Hyuk Jae?" I ask Byung Do.

"Min Young-ah, why did--"

"Did you or did you not?" I ask sternly.

"Min--"

"Did--"

"LET ME TALK FOR GOD'S SAKE!"

I flinch at his yelling.

He takes a deep breath before talking.

"Min Young-ah, why did you go to him?! I told you clearly not to. No matter that I'm...not your boyfriend, or that I...cheated on you 5 years ago. Lee Hyuk Jae is a dangerous person! He's a hitman!"

"Shut up!" I slam my hands on his desk. "You don't know anything about him! He's--"

"Oh, and you do?!" He walks towards me. "Do you know him?! Having sex with him doesn't mean you know him completely!"

"S-sex?"

"Oh come on, Man Min Young, it was obvious! Him shirtless, you dressing up, the...the red marks on his back...You never did that with me." He glares at me. "He was almost bleeding, how much did you enjoy it?!"

Enough.

I slap him. Hard.

Byung Do puts a hand on his now red, swelling cheek, he looks shocked as he stares at me.

"I don't have to listen to you and your nonsense." I say looking at him. "What I do is none of your business. And whether I had a completely different time with him than I did with you is for me to know and for you to forget. So--"

"You are out of the case." Byung Do says glaring at me.

"What?"

"You heard me."

"You can't do this."

"Watch me." Byung Do picks up the phone and dials a number. I look at him nervously.

"Byung--"

"Ah! Chief!" I feel my skin go cold. He wouldn't. "Yes, this is him. I wanted to talk to you about the detective you sent over to Clementine's....Yes, yes, Man Min Young...Oh no, she hasn't given me any problems...Well....I believe she should be out of the case. Yes, I know I'm the one who said to give her a chance...I apologize Chief, I guess..." he looks at me, " I judged her wrong....Yes, she'll be back in less than 2 hours....No, no, thank you."

Byung Do hangs up the phone and looks at me.

"Shin Dong-ssi is waiting for you." He then turns around and heads to the door.

"Byung Do!" He stops. "I...why are you doing this?! He is not what you think! I mean yeah, he killed some people but--"

"Are you even listening to yourself?! You are speaking of human lives as if they were things!" He walks towards me and puts his hand on my cheek. "Min Young-ah, I am worried. I am very worried about you. That's why I'm taking you out of the case. I know you are better than this, I...I love you, Min Young-ah. And I'm not giving up. But I need you to open your eyes and see...just exactly who you are talking about."

Byung Do takes his hand off me and hands me an envelope.

"These are the files I collected about him. I want you to open your eyes, Min Young-ah, because you are in danger. And I love you."

Byung Do leaves the office.

I look down at the files and gather my things.

Perhaps he's right. Lee Hyuk Jae is a hitman and I...

I leave the office.

I'm going to open my eyes.
