Y/N, MAX, AND EL were at el's place.

y/n walked back and forth around el's room, singing along to the song that was playing.

"you must be an angel." y/n signed along. "i can see it in your eyes, full of wonder and surprise."

y/n stops singing once max walks up to el, and she goes over to them.

"oh, you found ralph macchio?" max smirks.

"macchio?" el asks with a smile.

"yeah, he's the karate kid." max replies, then she makes a 'hi-yah' noise to imitate him.

"he's so hot, right?" max asks.

"i bet he's an amazing kisser, too." y/n adds.

el stares at max with furrowed brows and wide eyes.

"hey, uh.." max begins, sitting in front of el. "was mike a good kisser."

"i don't know." el replies with a small smile. "he's my first boyfriend."

"ex-boyfriend." max corrects.

el looks down, slightly missing mike.

"hey, don't worry about it. okay?" max tells el. "he'll come crawling back to you in no time, begging for forgiveness."

"i guarantee you, him and lucas are, like, totally wallowing in self-pity and misery right now." y/n smiles.

"they're like, 'oh, i hope they take us back!'" max imitates as she giggled.

all three girls then start laughing at max's antics.

"god, what i wouldn't give to see their stupid faces." max comments.

el looks down, getting an idea.

"what is it?" y/n asks el.

el bites her lip, and a small smile appears on her face.

el stares straightforward, then she wrapped the black blindfold around her eyes, covering her vision.

y/n and max sit on the bed.

"is this really gonna work?" y/n asks.

el nods her head yes

"holy shit, this is insane." max says with excitement.

"max." el warns.

"yeah, quiet. i'm sorry." max immediately apologizes.

el starts to concentrate, then she hears muffled voices, and everything turns black.

"i see them." el tells the girls.

"what are they doing?" max asks.

"eating." el simply replies.

"they're saying we're species." el repeats what she heard them say.

"those little pieces of shi-" y/n begins.

"what?" max asks el, cutting y/n off.

"emotion, not logic." el repeats, from what she heard the boys say.

max raised her eyebrows.

"what?" max repeated.

then, after another few minutes went by, el just rips off her blindfold.

there was blood dripping down el's nose.

"what happened?" max asks.

el just started to laugh, confusing max and y/n.

max and y/n started to laugh along with el, el laying down on the floor from laughing so much.

they didn't know what they were laughing at, besides el. they were just having fun.

y/n and max decided they were going to spend the night at el's.

they read magazines in el's room, until hopper came home.

"hey!" they heard hopper shout in the distance. "when, i say three inches, i mean three in-"

hopper barges in, but cuts himself off, once he realizes it wasn't mike, and it was just max and y/n.

"do you knock!?" max asks.

"jeez!" y/n adds.

"yeah! jeez!" el agrees.

"oh.. hey." hopper immediately regrets. "i'm sorry. i thought that, uh—"

"mike's not here." max cuts hopper off.

"max and y/n wanted to have.. a sleepover." el suggests to hopper. "is that okay?"

"yeah. yeah. yeah." hopper softly says, regretting on barging in.

"your parents know about this?" hopper asks max and y/n.

max and y/n hesitantly nod their head yes.

"uh, yeah, it's cool." hopper repeats.

"did you need something?" max asks.

"no, no." hopper replies. "uh, i'll leave."

then hopper shuts the door, leaving the three girls.

"ready?" max asks el, getting ready to spin the bottle.

"ready." el replies.

el was going to watch people in the void, but it was like spin the bottle, where they spun the bottle and chose a random person.

"mr. wheeler." the three of them read what the bottle landed on.

"ugh, boring." y/n insulted.

el giggles. "yeah, boring."

"spin again." max says.

"against the rules?" el asks.

"we make our own rules." max shrugged.

"billy." the three of them read once it lands on him.

max started getting up from the bed.

"okay, look, i should just warn you." max warns. "if he's with a girl or doing something gross, just get out of there right away before you're scarred for life."

"max—" el begins.

"no, i'm just saying, i'm serious! he's really gross." max continues.

"max!" el says, a bit louder.

"okay, shutting up now."

max and y/n puts the static on through the radio, and el wrapped the blindfold around her head.

el goes into her void, everything is black, but then she sees a car.

she starts walking towards the car, and looks inside of it, but nobody was in there.

she then heard a girl whimpering,confusing her.

"i found him." el says.

"what's he doing?" y/n asks as blood dripped from el's nose.

"i don't know." el replies.

"don't be afraid." billy tells the girl.

"he's.. on the floor..." el continues.

"it'll be over soon." billy says.

"-talking to someone." el adds.

el started walking closer as the girl continued whimpering.

"just stay very still." billy tells the girl.

billy gets up, and looks behind him.

then billy vanishes from the void.

el rips off her blindfold, hyperventilating.

"what is it?" max concernedly asks. "what happened?"
