12 ♡ final ♡

It was finally night, meta knight was on an edge of a hill glancing at the moon holding pink roses. After stressing a lot and building up courage, meta knight was finally ready to tell galacta knight how he felt. He was very nervous, sweating even and overthinking a bit.

Meta knight: (Ok.. this is it... I'm going to tell galacta knight how I feel. All I have to say is I love you right? That shouldn't be hard... hopefully...")

Before he could take off he glanced at the pink roses he got

Meta knight: (Will galacta knight like these? Are these necessary? I bought these for him, but what if he doesn't like them? What if I got these for no reason? Maybe I should return them....)

After a while meta knight realized how much time he wasted debating on flowers and snapped out of it

Meta knight: (Eh... I think I'll bring them just in case.... but now I probably should go, I hope this goes well...)

After a bit of hesitation meta knight slowly took off to see him hoping he'd be there. He was also thinking about what he should say to him if he was there on the way. When he finally reached there he slowly landed and saw galacta knight sitting down. Meta knight saw him and tried his best to hide the roses by putting them behind his back and nervously walked up to galacta knight, while also blushing a little.

Meta knight: Uhm.. hey galacta knight

Galacta knight: Huh?.. oh meta knight, I didn't expect you to be here at this time

Meta knight: Oh yeah.. I'm.. uh.. just bored is all.. heh..

Galacta knight: I do admit I was starting to miss you.. it's so boring without someone to talk to, I like hearing you ramble on about stupid stuff

Meta knight: Yeaah... heh heh

Meta knights face grew more red the more he heard him talk, but he decided to stop having a gay panic and do what he came here for

Galacta knight: Well now that you're here, what do you want to do?

Meta knight: U-um.. actually, I was thinking we should go somewhere else

Galacta knight: Oh really? Where to?

Meta knight: Uh, you'll see... I want it to be a surprise

Galacta knight: You must be bringing me somewhere nice than, at least I hope

Meta knight: Oh yeah you'll really like it.. can you just, follow me?

Galacta knight: Eh, sure

Galacta knight got up and the both stared flying with meta knight in the lead. Meta knight was going to one of the spots Galacta knight showed him, it was very pretty and was kinda close to the moon. The two stopped and landed

Galacta knight: Hey, I know this place. I've showed you this before

Galacta knight walked forward a bit, looking around

Galacta knight: I guess this place really is nice, huh? I don't come here but I might reconsider... still I never expected you to take me here meta knight

Galacta knight: ....meta knight?

Meta knight: .....Galacta knight, I've... been holding this in for a while now.. but.. now I think I'm ready to tell you

Meta knight said slowly moving closer to galacta knight, nervous while still holding the roses behind his back

Meta knight: I have never expected us to get this close after I re-released you. And as days past on many things have changed, including.. my feelings for you....

Galacta knight: ..what are you saying?

Meta knight: Galacta knight... I.....

Meta knight was starting to feel a lot of anxiety struggling to say it, but as he tightly grabbed the roses behind his back,

Meta knight: I-i love you, galacta knight!

He yelled as he pulled out the roses from behind his back, making galacta knight stop in shock

Meta knight: I've had for a while now... I didn't want to believe I did but I'm tired of pretending I don't. Galacta knight... will you be my boyfriend?

Galacta knight stood there in shock and looked at the roses, while also thinking about his choice. Meta knight standing there, incredibly sweaty

Meta knight: (ugh.. this was a stupid idea... why in the right mind did I do this? He's probably going to say no and-)

While meta knight was rambling on in his head galacta knight stared at the roses, and slowly started to feel.. happy. And then he finally made his choice

Galacta knight: I love you too, meta knight...

Meta knight: !

Meta knights eyes widen and lifted his head a bit, and galacta knight held his hand (and grabbed the wrist of the hand that meta used to hold the flowers)

Galacta knight: Ive liked you for a while too. I also had the same problem. I didn't want to believe that I'd like an idiot. But... I ended up caring for an idiot anyway.. and eventually... started to love him more.

Galacta knight: So yes, I will be your boyfriend.

Meta knight was completely out of words. Nothing could explain the amount of happiness he was feeling. His eyes went softer and turned blue

Galacta knight: Um.. meta knight, are you.. ok?

Meta knight: Oh.. yeah I'm fine I just.. never felt this way before...

They both stood there in silence while both blushing immensely

Meta knight: Soo.. I guess we're a thing now, huh?

Galacta knight: Heh.. I guess so...

Meta knight: ..Let's go back and sit next to each other for a bit considering it's probably really dark on planet popstar

Galacta knight: ...Ok

Meta knight gave galacta knight the roses and they both flew back to the area they're usually in while holding each other's hands. When they made it they both sat down next to each other looking at the stars

Galacta knight: ..Huh, never in my life would i think I'd actually fall in love

Meta knight: *yawn* yeah...

Galacta knight: You sound tired..

Meta knight: Yeah, I am after stressing all day about my confession

Galacta knight: Oh, then you should probably head back then, you deserve to rest

Meta knight: Yeah.. I was thinking about doing that but.. I think I'm going to stay here for the night, with you....

Galacta knight: eh?!

Meta knight started to wrap himself with his cape and closed his eyes. Galacta knight didn't say anything. But for a while when it seemed like meta knight was asleep galacta knight used his wing to pull meta knight closer to him

Galacta knight: Goodnight, meta knight..

Galacta knight then closed his eyes, and they both fell asleep together. The next day the two were still sleeping together, but while they were sleeping meta knight ended up cuddling him and galacta knight had his hand on meta knights head. Galacta knight was the first to wake up. He stretched and a little and was about to get up but realized that meta knight was on him

Galacta knight: (eh?.. oh.. it wasn't a dream. We really did get together. Not that it's a bad thing, but it felt too good to be true considering my life. But he is adorable when he's sleeping.. I guess I'll stay right here until he wakes up. But until then I just hope I can keep this up without screwing up)

Meta knight slowly started to open his eyes and then he was finally awake too. He yawned and realized that he was on galacta knight and quickly jumped off

Meta knight: S-sorry galacta knight..

Galacta knight: Oh no it's fine.. I hope you slept well

Meta knight: I definitely did. My first time sleeping with a person, it feels.. nice.

Galacta knight: Oh really?

They both stood up together

Meta knight: Yeah! Actually... I just had a thought.. we can be with each other anywhere if you could come live with me. I would like to wake up next to you everyday..

Galacta knight: Oh.. uhm.. you know we've only been dating for like, 5 hours now right?

Meta knight: Oh come on, I don't see the issue

Galacta knight: Well, don't you think we're going a bit too fast?

Meta knight: Well I don't want to come here everyday just to see you. Come on I know you don't like it there that much but there's so much to do there. Plus, you can have as much waffles as you want and get to see me more often! How does that sound

Galacta knight: Good, I guess. Fine, I'll do it

Meta knight: Great!

Galacta knight: Not today though, but we can start tomorrow

Meta knight: Good enough for me! I should get going now though.. I'll see you a little later galacta knight

Galacta knight: Ok.. bye

Meta knight was about to leave, until he realized he forgot to do something

Meta knight: Oh actually before I go, can you do this thing for me

Galacta knight: Sure, what?

Meta knight: Could you... lift up your mask for me?

Galacta knight: ......Why?

Meta knight: Oh nothing I just want to see something real quick, just lift it a little

Galacta knight: sigh...

Galacta knight did as he asked and lift up his mask a little

Galacta knight: I don't see the point in doing thi-

But before galacta knight could finish his sentence meta knight quickly rushed to give galacta knight a kiss, leaving galacta knight surprised. It lasted a few seconds before meta knight stopped

Meta knight: I always wanted to do that~!

Meta knight giggled before putting his mask down. Though galacta knight wasn't mad, he actually smiled

Galacta knight: Goodbye meta knight

And that's when I left again and on that day forward we continued to love each other. At first my very goal was to become stronger, but I never knew that fight would make a difference in my life. I thank my curiosity. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have the love of my life right now, I wouldn't want it any other way. I love him very much and I couldn't ask for more. And I can't wait to see what more will come our way.
