VALENTINES SPECIAL PART 3

03:29, 5 August 2024

3 years into the future (At this point, Ein has introduced Kitty to all of the remaining Mystreet Characters) -

Kitty's POV:

Valentines day passed once more. I'm never really sure what to do on Valentines day. Should I hang out with friends, or would that be weird? Should I spend the day alone, or maybe regret it later? I'm not entirely sure. Well, I'd rather not regret anything than be embarrassed, but I feel like those two things are the same thing. Maybe I should stay-

"KNOCK KNOCK!" I heard the door say. I walked to the door and slowly unlocked it, then opened it. I was welcomed to see Aphmau on the other side. She gave me a big hug.

"Kitty! How've you been?" She asked me, as I gave her a small hug back.

"I-I'm good. Shouldn't you be with Aaron?" I said, this time giving her a question.

"Well normally, but we both decided we should just relax for today. So he went to hang with some of the guys, and I just thought that everyone else would've been busy, since we didn't have the same plan, and what not." Aphmau explained.

"Oh, I see. So, did you wanna do anything specific?" I asked.

"Hmm, well, I didn't quite think this far. Maybe we could go get ice cream, or something!" She suggested.

"Sure! That sounds nice." I agreed.

"Great! Let's go!" Aphmau grabbed me by the arm and rushed me out of the house. I barely followed behind as she dashed to the nearest ice cream stand. After she let go of my hand, I rested them against my legs and let out deep breathes. I've never ran so fast before. We were next to an ice cream stand, and there were a few people on line. We hopped on before anyone could get in before us, and we talked while waiting.

"So what do you wanna do after this?" Aphmau asked.

"I'm not entirely sure. Maybe we could just walk around? I always like to enjoy the scenery." I suggested.

"Whatever you wanna do is fine with me!" Aphmau answered. I guess we're going for a walk after this. Before I knew it, the line was gone and we were next. Aphmau got some Strawberry ice cream with sprinkles, and I got Vanilla with Carmel. We walked off to the park and ate ice cream together. It was fun for the most part. We found a bench and sat down to finish our ice cream. Aphmau got a little bit of strawberry ice cream on her purple sweater. She finished her ice cream without a second, while I only had a few licks before getting full. I felt guilty for not eating all of the ice cream, but I couldn't take another bite. I'm not super into sweets.

I saw a nearby garbage, so I stood up and walked to it. As I through out the ice cream, I saw a mysterious man hiding behind a tree. He looked awful familiar. He wore a red jacket, and his hair matched his midnight black eyes. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it looked like he was watching me. He quickly disappeared behind the tree, and chills went up my spine. Was he actually watching me?

I tried brushing it off and walked back to Aphmau. We talked a little more. Suddenly, Aphmau broke our current conversation.

"Hey, are you okay? You've got goosebumps. It's not that chilly out." Aphmau questioned.

"O-Oh, yeah, I'm fine." I said, softly spoken.

"What's got you all nervous? You can tell me." She insisted.

"Well, when I went to throw out my ice cream, I saw a guy watching me. It gave me the creeps." I said. I get scared really easily. Maybe I was overreacting. Maybe he was doing something, and I spooked him rather than him spooking me.

"Oh! Well, I'm sure it was nothing." Aphmau quickly brushed off what I just said. "Hey, you wanna get something else to eat? Or maybe we could get something to drink instead, like lemonade, or poopsie." Aphmau asked.

"I'm good, I'm full. But if you're hungry, we could go. I don't mind walking a little more." So we got up from the bench and walked somewhere else in the park. We searched for a lemonade stand, but there was none to be found. Eventually, we resorted to a deli, and Aphmau got herself a poopsie and a bagel. We walked out of the deli and started to walk back to the bench. Aphmau took two big sips before drying her cup clean and throwing it out by a nearby garbage. She gobbled up her bagel like it didn't exist to begin with. It's kind of crazy to see how fast werewolves eat, in my opinion.

We were still walking to the bench before a familiar man stopped us in our tracks. I looked up to his face. He had big, light grey eyes, and the nicest smile. He had a blue streak going across his hair to the left side, and he wore a matching blue hoodie. He had fluffy werewolf ears, and his long tail swayed to the wind.

"H-Hey guys." Ein smiled.

"Ein? It's so good to see you!" I gave him a small hug. He hugged me back, and that's when I saw him holding a bouquet of flowers. I stepped back and let him speak, as if I was unfazed by the flowers, which in a way I was.

"So what have you guys been up to?" Ein asked.

"Nothing much, we've just been going from place to place." I responded. I glanced over to Aphmau, and she had the cheekiest grin I've seen on a person's face. I looked back to Ein, who I noticed was sweating. Was it really that hot out? I mean, I'm wearing a full-on hoodie with no zipper, and I'm fine.

"You okay, Ein? You're sweating a bit." I asked him.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just had something on my mind for a-a while now, and I wanted t-to ask you something." Ein was shaking a little. I lifted my eye brow and listened closely. Ein got down on one knee and lifted up his flowers. I was still confused. Am I really that oblivious? What's going on?

"Kitty, w-will you be...my girlfriend?" I stood there, not yet processing his words. Girlfriend? Wait,...GIRLFRIEND?! H-He wants me to be his Girlfriend?! What?! Why?

"I-I..." I was frozen. I didn't know what to say.

"Are you okay?" Ein stood up. "I'm flattered, really, but why? Why would you choose me?" I asked.

"Well, because I love you. I've loved you ever since the day I met you," Ein said. "I've never felt the same way I feel around you with any other person. I get nervous, I-I make sure to think of what to say, I try to look my best, I-"

"But I'm not someone you should want. I'm weird, and I don't think that you would want someone like me." I said, getting quieter with every word. I directed my eye toward the ground and analyzed its concrete patterns and bumps to distract me. A hand reached for my chin, and it lifted my head up. Ein looked at me and smiled.

"Kitty, you are perfect for me. I love the way you talk, the way you dress, your personality, everything. I feel blessed just to have known you. if you don't say yes, I don't think I'll ever find anyone to love the way I love you. Please, say yes." Ein went on. "I don't want to live my life alone anymore. Will you be with me?"

"...You're sure though? I don't want to ruin our friendship, or anything for that matter." I asked one more time.

"Yes, I'm sure." Ein said. I gave myself a second of thought. Did I want this too? I and made my decision.

"Yes! I'll be with you!" I gave Ein a slightly stronger hug, and he hugged me back. Then we let go.

"Oh, and these are for you, by the way." He put the bouquet of flowers in my hands. I could see Ein's tail slightly swishing from left to right. I thought that was a little cute. I looked behind me to see Aphmau fan-girling over us, bouncing up and down and spinning from left to right.

"Were you in on this?" I asked her.

"Of course I was! Who would I be if I didn't help my sibling-not-sibling get his girl?" She chuckled.

"We were all in it." I heard a voice from behind me. I turned around and saw that man that was staring at us earlier. I yelped and jumped backwards behind Ein. I quivered as I slowly opened my eyes again to see that man, who I heard laughing. I opened my eyes completely, and realized it was just Aaron. I knew he looked familiar.

"I was spying on you and Aph to let Ein know where you guys were, so he didn't have to do much searching." Aaron said. "That would've taken him forever." I laughed a little.

"Thanks you guys. I really appreciate it, but could you give us a moment alone?" Ein asked. Aphmau and Aaron looked at each other.

"I wanted to see this, but fine, we'll leave, or whatever." Aphmau pouted. They turned and left, and I was alone with Ein.

"You don't think they're gonna spy on us, do you?" I asked.

"Heh, knowing them, probably, but that doesn't matter. Thank you for being with me. I-I didn't tell Aaron or Aphmau about this, but I got you one other gift." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. He opened it, and there was a golden necklace inside.

"I got this for you." He put the necklace around my neck.

"E-Ein, this is too much! You shouldn't have gotten this, I-"

"It's okay, I promise. Besides, I got a matching one." Ein pulled out another box and put the golden necklace around his neck.

"I know you think this is all too much, but I know you'd love this." Ein said. I started blushing more and more. But I smiled.

"Thank you, for all if this." I hugged Ein, and we stayed there for what in my eyes felt like an eternity. For Ein, probably not long enough.

But if I really spend the rest of my life with him, I know I'll be happy, no matter what words shoot out of my mouth.
