Dreams Beyond Comprehension
03:29, 5 August 2024Aphmau's POV:
Once all that mess was cleaned up, the sun began to set as the moon rose in the sky. Thank goodness it was almost time to sleep, cleaning all that mess made me really tired. It was a little surprising how fast the day went by, though. The bad part was Lilith didn't have an official spot to sleep in, but she just kept sleeping on the couch. I didn't want her to sleep there, especially if that meant she'd be alone at night. Me and Aaron should really get a new room to put the kids in. Sure, we. Have the guest bedroom, but Melissa's using it. Alina is still sleeping with Aaron, so maybe Lilith could sleep in my bed. My wheelchair is still upstairs, and I don't mind sleeping in that. I put my plan into action and I usher Lilith upstairs with me. I let her have the whole bed to herself, and I stick with my old-fashioned wheelchair. The both of us whisper-talk to each other for an unreasonable amount of time before the both of us fell into a deep sleep.
I felt like it's been forever since I've been in this familiar blackness. There was something missing from the picture though. Blaze was no where to be seen. Maybe if I jus wander around a bit, He'll pop out. I started to walk into the dark abyss, until something started to feel off. I felt like something was changing. Before I knew it, I heard a sound like ice cracking beneath me, and I fell through the floor.
I groaned while getting up, and when I opened my eyes, I was in a completely different place. In this place, everything was white, and it almost looked like a church, or a chapel, but really big. As much as this place felt odd, I also felt familiar with it. But I don't remember from where I was familiar with it. Regardless, I decided to look around, because I had nothing better to do. I walked around the seats, and I walked up to the front of the chapel. There looked like there was supposed to be water at the center, but there was nothing there. Beside the little well with no water, there were two sets of stairs leading to a small little area. There I saw a symbol that I recognized from Alina's memories, of her mom, that is. Maybe this was part of their dimension? I thought about walking outside to see if there would be anything that could be remotely similar with Alina's world, but there was nothing. There was only a white void, replacing that dark one, and the chapel was sitting on a big puffy cloud. I walked back inside.
I walked all the way to the front again, where the symbol was, and I looked around some more. It was there where I found something I thought I had seen before. It was a white orb, floating underneath one of the seats. I got a little closer, and I reached for it. I nearly brushed it with my finger, but then the world started to break again. It was odd, but things started to disappear one by one, but some things would leave a word on the floor as they vanished. I looked at each word and wrote the sentence in my head before I could disappear as well.
SACRIFICE OF LOVE
The floors fell before me, and I fell as well, causing me to wake up from my dream, or at least I had thought. I was back at Mystreet, in the middle of the road. Suddenly, I wasn't there anymore. I think I was in..Space? Yeah, this is definitely a dream. I saw the whole earth, just minding its own business. Y'know, it was kinda cool seeing the earth like this. I've seen pictures, sure, but it feels different when you see it in person. Then I saw something coming towards it. It was darker than space itself, and it came in the form of a black whole. I watched as it swelled my home whole, and it didn't even take a minute. It was truly horrifying. I couldn't even do anything about it. Everyone I cared for was there, and I couldn't save them. Suddenly, the space I was in turned back into the black abyss, and I saw someone I had been looking for this whole time.
"Blaze? What was that?" I asked, almost demanding an answer.
"That was the future. Unless you start fixing things now, you can't do anything to change it. I told you this before, and now you have around two months left. That should be enough for you to get in and out before everything happens. You need to talk to Hyria. She's the only one who can tell you how to get to the Irene dimension. Please, do this. I know you can." Blaze flashed before my very eyes, and so did I.
I woke up back in my bed, looking around. I saw Aaron was sitting next to my bed, and he turned to me as he heard me wake up.
"Aphmau! You're finally awake!" Aaron exclaimed.
"Finally? I was only asleep a few hours." I said.
"No, you've been out for three days. We thought you might've been in a coma." Aaron explained. Three days?! I could've sworn I was only asleep for a few hours. Maybe it had something to do with my dream. Blaze did say that going into the dimension makes real time go faster.
"It's okay, though. You're awake, and that's all that matters. Oh! I gotta go tell Melissa!" Aaron jumped out of his seat and dashed to the stairs. Suddenly, I was alone, or at least I thought I was. I heard a whisper and turned in the noises direction.
"Psst. PSST! HEY!" I heard someone say.
"Woof? What are you doing in here? I thought you were in Aaron's room."
"I was, but your 'daughter' brought me in here and put me here." Woof explained.
"Ohh, that makes sense. Was I really asleep for three days?" I asked.
"Well, I have no way of telling time, but you have been asleep for a long time." Woof said.
"I gotta talk to Aaron about this." I concluded.
