Ch-3

09:54, 21 October 2024

It was evening when Sora returned from the University and hastily proceeded to arrange everything, even though there was still 2 hours left for Jungwon's arrival.

She took a shower and wore a fresh pair of clothes then she brought her books and all the study related things to the living room.

Kept glancing at the clock, she tried to study by herself till then but that was a worst idea because she couldn't comprehend a single question written in the books.

Minutes passed and she started to feel sleepy, though, she tried to keep herself awake but still ended up falling asleep.

It was for what felt like minutes but it actually was 2 hours, when she woke up at the sound of the doorbell.

"Shit"

Muttering, she got up hurriedly and arranged the books and all the other stuffs.

Glancing at a nearby mirror, she fixed her look so she won't appear messy and took a deep breathe before walking over to the door.

After mentally preparing herself, she finally opened the door to see Jungwon looking down at her quite annoyingly.

"5 more seconds late, and I would have left."

Saying, he walked past her and entered inside, leaving her to still process everything.

She closed the door and followed him inside, as they both sat in the living room. He placed his bag on the table, pushing his hair backwards whilst she stared at him, not even hiding that she was drooling over him.

"Did you completed your assignments?"

"Not yet"

She replied and sat down with him, whilst still staring.

"Ouch"

"Focus right here"

She yelped when he smacked her head and gestured at the books.

Rolling her eyes, she looked down at the books whilst he was scanning it. He checked her notebooks first and tried to figure out, that from where should he start.

"Should I start with chapter first?"

He asked, still reading the book as she hummed in response.

Since she had mentioned that she's not really good in maths, he decided to start with maths only, because the test is in next week, means they don't have much time left.

He explained her the basic points of the first chapter and solved some questions to explain her better on how to do that.

"Solve this one"

He wrote down a question on the notebook and gave her to solve.

She had tried her best to focus on everything he had explain but she didn't seem to completely get it yet.

More than solving it, she was just staring at it and trying to figure out the solution as he looked at her, realising she won't be able to solve it so he took the notebook from her.

He proceeded to explain her once again by solving the question and making sure that she's not missing out anything.

Afterwards, he again gave her a question to solve whilst he proceeded to complete his own leftover assignments.

This time she actually seemed to get it and solve the question, it still took her some minutes before she was done and with so much confident, she showed him the notebook.

He took the notebook from her and stared at it for a while, as she looked at him confidently that it will be correct this time.

"Come here"

He gestured for her to come close to him whilst her heart felt like it's about to explode.

Biting down a smile, she went a bit close to him till she was completely facing him. Her eyes widened when he slowly leaned in towards her, as she closed her eyes tightly.

"Ow"

She hissed when he flicked her forehead before scooting away slightly.

"What even is this? Is that how you're going to do in test?"

He asked as she looked down at the notebook, wondering how was she still not able to solve.

As she didn't replied anything, he sighed and took another attempt in explaining.

However, she was for real getting everything this time, but since the time was over in only explaining about the problems, he delayed it and just told her to practice solving the questions by herself.

Gathering his stuffs back in his bag, he got up and proceeded to leave, when he received a notification in his phone and turned to face her after checking it.

"As said, I sended you the money."

She said to him as he looked up at her and stared for a while.

"It's fine I don't need it, I'm sending it back to y-"

"No, you still have to keep it. You know my dad sends me money for my extra classes but since I don't have any extra classes, I'm giving it to you because you're my tutor."

She explained and insisted in walking him to the door.

"So technically, I'm just paying you as how I would do to any teacher in an extra class."

She said again and gave him a small smile before opening the door for him.

He had no reaction showing on his face and without even giving a nod, he proceeded to leave  from there."

"Also I'm going to do well from tomorrow onwards."

She yelled slightly, making sure he heard her before she closed the door at his disappearance.

Leaning against the door with a smile, she heaved a sigh and nodded her head, deciding to actually work on what she said to him just now.
