Sarai's POV"You good?" Durk asked me as we waited outside his front door to be let in. Henry should've been down here by now but he's taking forever.

There's a bunch of security walking around in hazmat suits with huge guns...probably at least 50 of them.

They are trying to detect if there are anymore bombs in the vicinity or if any other type of damage has been done. I also noticed one of the guys keeps eyeing me down...weird right?

"Yes...are you okay Durk? I know you have so much going on right now." I already know he's not okay, understandably, but I still ask.

Zayden hasn't said much and is holding onto Durk's left leg for dead life.

"When they unlock this door and I see all my kids okay, I'll be good then. But you ain't gotta worried about me, I'm a thug."

"Well don't they say thugs cry too?"

"You'd never know it."

"I can see pain when I look into your eyes Durk, it's okay to not be okay sometimes."

"You think you know me now huh?"

"I'm getting to know you—

"Well I already know you and I like what I know." he smirked giving me his side eye that he always does

"You know some things about me but you've yet to open up to me and I'm just starting to not be awkward enough to open up to you..."

"Oh, Sarai?! You're back!" Henry yelled cutting Durk off and pulling me into a huge hug.

Durk and Zayden walked inside without me and I saw his kids run up to him. He hugged all five of them and Henry was still squeezing the life out of me but it's okay, I miss him too.

"Ms. Sarai, where have you been?"

"Oh not too far..." I smiled walking inside as he shut and locked the door behind us.

"Hey Sarai" Bella and Skyler both said running up to me and hugging my legs.

"Hey.......seems like someone missed me..." I laughed bending down to their level and giving them high fives.

"My dad said we are all going on a trip for a little while."

"Oh really...where?" I asked even though I know Durk was listening and wouldn't want them to tell me because he hasn't told me himself........they probably don't know where we are all going anyway.

"Daddy ain't said where yet, go pack y'all bags. You can bother Sarai when we get in the car." Durk spoke up and the girls did exactly as he said. The boys already ran off to their rooms to get started packing.

Once they were gone in the distance Durk walked a little closer to me and said "come on..."

I didn't question him and continued to follow him through the house. I already know we are headed towards the elevators I used to take everyday when I lived here.

"You remember these?" he asked as he pressed the up button five times in a row...I'm starting to learn Durk may not be the most patient guy I've ever met.

"Could never forget them..." I smiled as we continued to wait for the elevator to come. It was taking longer than usual and sounded like it was struggling to come down.

It slowly opened after a few more minutes and we were finally able to step inside and go upstairs to pack his bags I assume. He still hasn't told me where exactly we are going and my curiosity is only growing.

The doors shut so I decided now is a good time to speak up "I've never been up to your room Durk..."

"You will like it, I got all my plaques and awards and shit everywhere."

"I bet you have Gucci bed sheets."

"Nah, but if you want some I'll buy them for you."

Hmmm...he is always trying to buy me something. I think that's a good sign...

"You don't have to — whoa what was that?!"

"Uhhh..."

"Durk!!! Oh my—

"Let me see..."

He started messing with the elevator buttons but it wasn't moving and the lights were flickering. The elevator is stuck and my anxiety, plus claustrophobia isn't built for this.

"Oh no Durk it's stuck!!!"

"Don't freak out..."

"Is this the first time this has happened to you???"

"Yeah...I can see it's yours too." he was slightly laughing while I was overwhelmed with fear.

"Ummmm can you call someone to come and fix it???"

"I am, you claustrophobic or something?"

"YES!!!"

"I see...this the most and loudest I ever heard you talk, scary ass..." he's still laughing at me and part of me wants to laugh just because he is. But...I can't because I am starting to hyperventilate, I need to get out of this elevator now!

"Did you text someone or why are you waiting to call!?"

"I texted Henry, they fixing it now...they thinking India might've done something with the electrical shit."

"Durk, I can't breathe please...why would she do something like that?! Did you know she was this crazy all along???"

"Nah, I didn't.........but Sarai...just calm down, you not in here by yourself. We will be outta here in a minute."

"Durk pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee" I continued to yell as I slid down the wall and fell to the floor of the elevator. I am completely embarrassing myself in front of him right now but I can't help it.

"Aye just look at me, Sarai.........Sarai you need to just fucking breathe."

"I I I I I I can't..........Durk...I'm going...............to.....have...a panic..............attack" I said in between breaths because I'm about to faint.

He dropped down next to me and placed the upper half of my body in his lap. He then moved my hair out my face and put the back of his hand on my forehead.

"Sarai you working yourself up for nothing, I'm right here witchu."

"I know but who knows how long we will be in here, we have no food or water...nothing!!!"

"But we do have each other..."

He keeps saying the sweetest things but I can't even take it in because I'm in fear. "Durk please help me!!!"

"Sarai—

"Durk—

"Sarai—

"Durk I can't breathe!!!!!!!"

"You okay I'm here..."

As soon as he said that I gripped his wrists so hard to try and calm down but it wasn't working.

He pulled me closer towards him and held me in his arms tightly but it's not working, I can't calm down. I'm 10 seconds away from fainting or screaming or worse...

I couldn't control my breathing and I felt him slip his hand in mine and then he kissed the back of it?!? That threw me off guard and my stomach started dancing. 💃🏽

I began to watch his every next move as he put both his hands on the sides of my face. Okay so I'm thinking he may try to kiss me again, I definitely wasn't expecting this moment to come again so soon...or in this scenario.

He pulled my face in to his and my heart started beating so fast I seriously think I might have a panic attack now.

He could clearly tell I was nervous and before he connected his lips to mine he said "I wanted to do this earlier so hopefully it calm you down..."

In this moment nothing else mattered and I didn't even think about anything else but him and I.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back at the same pace he was kissing me. I've never felt feelings like this ever in my life and I never want this moment to end.

He slipped his tongue in my mouth and started biting my lip and I damn near died.

He gently laid me back on the ground of the elevator and continued to kiss me until I broke it because I couldn't stop smiling.

He smiled back at me and grabbed my neck and continued to kiss me and choke me for what seemed like eternity until the doors finally opened...☹️

"Ummmm Mr. Banks, Ms. Sarai it is fixed now......." I heard Henry say in a faint whisper before walking away

Durk immediately got off of me and extended his hand to help me stand up. We both walked out the elevator and he was still holding my hand as I followed behind him to his room. We walked for about five minutes until we stopped in front of two solid black doors.

He put in a code that opened them and immediately started packing some stuff in a duffel bag when he walked in. I saw him pull out a bunch of stacks of money and put it in its own bag...all I can say is wow.

"Ummm Durk....." I said looking around with the biggest smile still on my face. Everything in his room looks and smells like money.

"What?"

"We just kissed..."

"I ain't forget" he smiled wrapping his arms around me from the back and kissing my neck. I slightly jumped because that was unexpected. I turned around to face him and he started kissing me all over again for about three minutes until he pulled away sadly.

He whispered to me "yo lips taste  hella good, I'd never get tired of em"

"This set of lips or the other?" I joked as he continued packing

"Keep playing..."

"That felt..."

"What?"

"Really good..."

"It did............I'm addicted...you my new addiction"

He stood up to peck my lips a few more times before saying "you can get all the kisses you want once we get to where we going"

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see...come on"

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door with him before shouting "Aye Henry, cancel all my shows for the next seven days. I'll be back in a week."

"Yes sir"

"My kids in the car?"

"Yes sir"

"Aight cool, get my girl one of them OTF sets they just sent me too."

"Yes sir. The car is ready as well sir."

"Can we take the stairs?" I asked wanting to avoid another elevator at all costs.

"Aight" he said walking towards the stairs instead but I could tell he didn't want to. The whole getting stuck in an elevator thing didn't seem to get to him much.

When we got to the main floor I saw Muwop and some other guy I've seen around before standing there with bags and guns.

"She coming?" Muwop asked with a disgruntled expression towards me.

"Duh nigga you already knew that, come on." Durk answered

"What's your name shorty?" the other guy asked me as we all started walking out.

"Sarai, what's yours?"

"Benjamin—

"Alright, that's enough." Durk interrupted as he held the car door open for me.

There were two black Escalades pulled up and Muwop walked to get inside the other one. I'm not sure what his problem is with me?

"Guess I'm riding with y'all then..." Benjamin said jumping in the front seat.

I slid in the back and Durk slid right next to me. I turned around and saw the girls sound asleep.

"Same location sir?" the driver asked and Durk simply nodded his head yes.

"Where are we going Durk?" I whispered

"You'll see when you wake up."

"It'll be that long of a drive?"

"Yeah...here, you look tired."

He patted his lap for me to lay down and I gladly accepted the offer. I cuddled up to him and he rested his head on mine. This is going to be a long ride._____________________Two days later...

India's POV"Okay y'all see them over there right or am I tripping?"

"Nah that's them for sure..." Asian answered me but that's not the answer I was looking for

"Bryson is that Sarai yes or no?!?"

"Yeah that's her..." he finally responded after acting like he's stuck

"Okay so now we just follow them" Asian suggested

"Please, I have better things I could do with my time. Bryson we need you to text Sarai tonight and make her tell you where she's staying."

"For what India? What's your fucking problem with them?"

"I want my man back and we made an agreement, I know you didn't forget that quickly?"

"You drove all the way to San Diego to find them and now what? You already had to go to great lengths to track them down. If Sarai tells me exactly where's she's staying what are you going to do? Pop up? You see them eating over there right now why don't you just go say what you have to say to em."

"It doesn't work like that, I need to be able to say what I have to say privately."

"Something doesn't seem right about this shit."

"I just need to talk to him, please Bryson...I'll throw it back on you again. Plus, I know you don't want the shaderoom finding out you used to work for Durk."

"Yeah okay..."

"Why does she keep laughing like that? She's a total downgrade from you India honestly..." Asian added

"Oh I know, Durk is going to be so jealous when he finds out I let big Choppa hit it..."

"Stop" Bryson said annoyed but I don't care "just call me Bryson damn..."

"You know what, fuck it, we will just follow them back to their hotel..."

"Are you sure?" Asian asked

"Yeah, why not?"

"Well what if he sees us, I mean I do have blue ass hair right now."

"He won't and if he does..........I'll shoot first."

Bryson walked off in the distance so he didn't hear that. He doesn't know my true intentions of killing both Durk and his sister for what Durk did to Sky's dad.

I mean...I may end up killing Bryson after all this is said and done.

Sarai's POVDurk and I left the kids back at the hotel with Muwop and Benjamin, plus the rest of security so we could go on some sort of a makeshift date. Durk keeps saying he's been wanting to do this for the longest to right his wrongs with me.

We are enjoying the best food out here on the San Diego pier...

"So...can I ask why you invited Muwop and that Benjamin guy to come on this...getaway?"

"Seem like you like him or something?"

"What?! I don't like either one of them."

"You talking about em..."

"I'm messing with you Sarai, they here just in case..."

"Some shit pop off, I always have my shooters with me. Plus, I knew I would need help watching and protecting my kids and you."

"Yeah, they was out there when we first got to the house on the security team. But I have always tried to help my friends out that was there with me in the trenches."

"Mmm...makes sense now why there was a security guard angrily eyeing me down..............but anyways, you never gave me a nickname Durk..."

"I don't know, you're supposed to be creative with it.......I know you've given a bunch of people nicknames."

"You know.........when you were talking to Henry before we left you called me your girl?"

"I've always felt connected to you to Durk, I don't know how to explain it..."

"Me either, but what I do know is I want you to be mine."

"Boyfriend and girlfriend?"

"Awwww oh my gosh Durk.........you're asking me to be your girlfriend?"

"You ain't said yes yet so I might take it back."

"Yes, I'd love to be...you would be my first boyfriend."

"First and last."

"That's the plan........maybe we should just keep it between us for awhile though.......with everything going on?"

"If that's what you want, you no secret though."

"I know.......but your fans wouldn't be too happy either so I think that's best for now."

"I gotchu"

"So I won't tell anyone yet...no one should know, not your friends or mine.....just for a few months maybe so we can see how it goes. If our relationship can last........"

"Aight, anymore requests princess damn?"

"No.......well...I especially don't want Muwop to know because he hates me."

"He don't, he just know I'm feelin you...you know he India cousin right?"

"I didn't.........but hey, do you ever feel like someone's watching you..."

I don't know why but I've just had a weird feeling that we aren't safe the entire time we've been out here. I know it's all in my head but it's because of everything that's happened so far. I feel like I can't trust anyone walking around me, not even the waiter.

"You just paranoid I think, if you with me you ain't got shit to worry about. I always got my fire on me, I don't even need security for real."

"True..."

"Let's get back to the room though, did you enjoy our first date out here on the run?"

Durk's POV"Dad, why did we have to come to San Diego again?" Du'Mier asked me

"Gotta take care of some shit son, ain't safe to be home for a minute."

"What are you taking care of? Why was there a bomb at the house?"

"We just making sure the house is safe and ain't shit else happened to it. You know India and daddy broke up so she got upset."

"He's planning to kill her..." Skyler added

Unfortunately, my kids know me all too well.

"I always knew she was evil..." Bella said climbing onto my lap

"Why you ain't tell daddy sooner?"

"I don't know...didn't think you two would ever break up. I have a suggestion though, I think I saw her earlier outside the hotel."

"What? You just now saying something, whatchu thinking Bella B?"

"I wasn't sure but I'm pretty sure...maybe we didn't go far enough and we have to leave the country?"

"Bryson is calling me I'll be back—

"Don't answer him" I told Sarai because I don't trust any motherfucka right now, especially not that nigga.

"Imma have to put a bag on India's head, so we gotta leave the country anyway."

"What about Willow and Sky?" Bella asked

"They'll just live with daddy right?"

"I guess"

"Ummm...where are we going next Durk?" Sarai asked me looking nervous as hell
