Chapter One

Calla

"WAKE UP KENRIC!" I said, barging into his room, banging pots and pans together. He didn't even flinch. I sighed. "Jolie, come help me!" I yelled. It was 2 pm and Vera's sleepover started at 2:30. Jolie came in her mouth full of mallowmelt. I froze then sprinted downstairs.

"Wait, I thought you needed something!" Jolie yelled.

"Must... get... mallowmelt....before....," I stopped mid sentence. "LEO!" I screeched. "You ate all the mallowmelt!" I collapsed on the ground dramatically and closed my eyes. Ella came downstairs and sprinkled some pepper on my face which made me have a sneeze attack. I glanced over at the clock which read 2:23. I got up and sprinted upstairs. "ELLA CAN I HAVE SOME PEPPER?!??!?!?!!" I exclaimed. She tossed it to me and I sprinkled it over Kenric's face. His eyes flew open and he began the same sneeze attack I had. The Vackers had invited everyone, and I mean everyone over for a sleepover. Because of course they had a sleepover room at MountainCast (their huge glittering estate) big enough to fit 16 kids. She invited us, (The Fosters) , her family obviously (The Vackers), The Dizznees and the Endals.

"KENRIC! WE HAVE TO BE AT THE VACKER'S IN 7 MINUTES!" I screamed in his ear. He laid there for a second, then shoved me out of his room so he could get dressed. I went and checked on Jolie who was reading Harry Potter, one of the human books mom gave us.

"Are you ready and packed for the sleepover?" I asked her. She nodded. I went to Leo's room AKA a trash dump. I don't think any of his clothes are clean and in his drawer. You can't even see his floor. Mom tries every week to try to get him to clean it up but he always responds with, "It's my room" I plugged my nose and creaked open the door.

"Hey Leo, are you ready for the sleepover?" He yelled yes from somewhere in the room and I went to Ella's room. She was playing on this contraption mom brought from the Forbidden Cities, called an Ipad. She had Uncle Dex fix it up and now Ella's addicted. Uncle Dex isn't really our uncle, he and Mom and Dad were friends growing up. Ella said she was ready. I ran to the Leapmaster and screeched at the top of my lungs that I was leaving with or without everybody. Jolie, Leo and Ella ran around the corner with their bags that were stuffed like mine. Kenric hurried after them and I selected Mountaincast on the Leapmaster.

"You know I could just teleport us," Kenric pointed out. I rolled my eyes at him.

"BYE MOM, BYE DAD!" we all yelled.

WHOOSH

We arrived at Mountaincast's front gate which was glittering and sparkling like usual. Finn was waiting at the door tearing his hands through his hair. He saw us approaching and waved to us. He smiled at Ella and she twirled her hair around her finger. I swear, she's only 11 but is one of the most boy crazy kids I know.

"You guys are the last ones so be prepared for a Vera lecture," He said quietly, leading us inside. When we got inside Biana and Tam gave us a wave as Finn led us up the many stairs to the sleepover room. By the time we get to the top we're nearly out of breath. Everyone was in there, bags thrown everywhere, kids on the ground laughing and talking. Looks like Vera had a plan to set up and was waiting for us to kick everyone out so she could get started.

"FINALLY!" she yelled over everyone.

"So sorry V, this one, " I said, jabbing my finger at Kenric, "didn't wake up til 2:23 and even then I had to wake him up by sprinkling pepper on his face." I gave him an elbow jab to his side. Vera snickered. "I'm guessing you want us to get everyone out," I said.

"You know me so well," she said laughing.

"EVERYONE LISTEN UP!" I yelled, stepping up onto a chair. Surprisingly every single pair of eyes looked at me. "Everyone go into the......" I looked at Vera for help.

"GAME ROOM!" she mouthed.

"The game room while V sets up!" Everyone filed out of the room and into the room next door.

"Thanks Cals," she said, as I headed out of the room. I gave her a thumbs up and went into the next door room. It was basically an arcade. There were arcade games like pac man, there was air hockey, there was even a bowling alley. I walked over to where Jolie, Cassy, Tiergan, and Kenric were standing. Kenric was playing pac man and failing pretty bad at it. Soon enough Vera came in and told everyone it was ready. I walked into the room which was completely transformed. I walked into a fort that was as big as a circus tent. There were fairy lights strung around the fort and there were colorful pillows and little beds for each of us. It was so pretty. Who knew a place so beautiful could be the place where everything went wrong.

A/N: Here are some pictures for reference, some are just little snippets that would be in the fort. I'm also going to create a thing for sleeping arrangements! (BTW none of these photos are mine except for the sleep arrangements which were made on Canva)! I hope you liked the first chapter!

Chapter Two

Vera

I grinned as I watched people gawk at my magnificent work of art. I went with my mom to Atlantis to buy all of the stuff and it turned out beautifully. Everyone unpacked their stuff and surveyed the sleeping arrangement. I know every single girl's crush in this room even if they don't know it themselves and I purposely placed everyone next to their crush. I don't know if anyone will figure it out. I placed myself next to Jolie and Kenric. Jolie because she is the sweetest thirteen year old girl I know. Kenric, for other reasons that y'all don't need to know about.

"What should we do first?" I asked.

"I know some human games! Mom taught me a bunch," Calla piped up.

"I'm in," Clyde and Cliff said in sync.

"All in favor of Human Games say I!" Jolie exclaimed. The Fosters all yelled I, and then looked at us weirdly as if we should know what it meant. "Oh, they don't know what that means," Jolie said, blushing.

"You're good, Jols. Basically if you're in favor it means you want to do it and like fancy people/people in the olden days say I to be fancy or something. So basically if you want to do it say I," she explained. Everyone said I and we decided what we should play first.

"Ok so how do you play truth or dare?" I asked after we decided.

"Basically," Ella jumped in "Someone asks someone else Truth or Dare. If that person answers truth, they have to answer a question of the person's choice truthfully. If they pick dare they have to do a dare of the person's choice. And we'll play if you don't do the dare or answer a truth you have to do 10 push ups, right Cals?"

"Make it 20, I want to see them suffer. And they have to eat a spicy pepper," she said with an evil laugh.

"Sounds easy enough," Clyde said.

"Who's going first?" Cascade asked.

"I could grab a hat to pull a name out of!" Finn volunteered.

"Ok Finn, I'll come with you and write the names," Calla said. They went to grab the stuff and we played the one word game where each person says a word and then it makes a story.

"Once."

"Upon."

"A."

"Time."

"There."

"Lived."

"A."

"Beautiful."

"Toad," Cassy said. Everyone looked at her.

"What? Toads are beautiful!" she said, laughing. Calla and Finn burst into the room holding a large top hat.

"This hat is perfect and we can also use it for Seven Minutes in Heaven!" She set the hat in the middle.

"Who wants to do the honors?" she asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"ME! ME! ME!" Kenric shouted.

"Fine," she said, sighing. Kenric reached into the hat, shuffled it up really well and pulled out a name. He opened the slip and read off the name.

"Cassy! Go ahead and pick someone to ask," Kenric said , throwing the paper somewhere behind him. Call grabbed it and put it back in the hat, rolling her eyes.

"Ummmmm," Cassy said. "Cliff, Truth or Dare?" Cliff turned bright red.

"Ummm Truth I guess?" he said nervously.

"Hmmmm, let me think of a special one for you," Cassy said, smirking. She leaned over to Ella and they started whispering, taking glances at Cliff.

" Okay Cliff, what is your biggest fear?" Cassy said, grinning like she knew what he was going to say.

"Umm I-I'm s-scared of... Cass why????? Umm my biggest fear is... balloons," he said, face as red as a tomato.

"Hmm good to know," Kenric said, smiling menacingly.

"See, Cliff, that wasn't too bad! Only because Ella stopped me from embarrassing you to

death," Cassy said, rolling her eyes at Ella.

"Ok, now it's Cliff's turn to ask," Calla said. It goes on for another 5 minutes until Mom comes and reports dinner is ready.

"LAST ONE TO THE DINNER TABLE HAS TO SMELL IGGY FARTS!" Calla screams. It's a mad dash to the door. Since I'm one of the closest, I get out the door first, jump on the stairway banister, and slide down the stairs.

"SEE YA LOSERS!" I yell. I gracefully hop off at the end and slide across the wooden floor and into the dining room. I take a seat at the table and wait for the rest of my friends to come in. Finn comes in shortly after me because I taught him how to slide down the banister.

"The benefits of hosting the sleepover," Finn jokes. The sleepover room is on the very top floor of our house and our house is like 60 stories tall. There are a lot of stairs. About 3 minutes later, Kenric walks in, face red, gasping for breath.

"That. Was. Not. Fair," he says in between breaths. "You've got to teach me how to slide down like you did." He sits down in between me and Finn.

"How far behind are the others?" I ask. "Mom said we can't start eating 'till they showed up," I said, rolling my eyes.

"Well, I was in the very front, and someone behind me tripped, and it was kind of like a domino effect. I barely escaped it," he said laughing. I laughed. Moments later Calla burst through the door, Jolie in tow.

"Probably wasn't a good idea to race people down the stairs," Calla said sheepishly. The Dizznees and their strawberry blonde hair barge into the room. The Endals calmly sweep into the kitchen going unnoticed by most of the room.

"Gosh, where is Ella?" Finn says.

"Worried where your girlfriend went?" I tease. He turns a bright red. I snicker. Ella bursts into the room.

"The party is here!" She sings.

"Ha, Leo has to smell IGGY farts," Calla sings. Her voice is better than Ella's and I catch Clyde looking at her in amazement. I smirk. Leo walks into the room.

"Well, well, well," Kenric boasts.

"If it isn't our little brother," Calla joins in.

"The one," Kenric continues.

"That has," Calla adds on.

"To."

"Smell."

IGGY FARTS!" They finish together. I smirk. We all sit down, me in between Kenric and Clyde, and we start eating
