Author's POV

Everyone gathered at Taehyung's hospital room, who had woke up as well. It was Seokjin, Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi, Jimin, Jungkook, Anna and Minna. "Mianhae... hyung", They heard Taehyung spoke for the first time in a while since he had quiet ever since he woke up. He had the coldest expression on his face, showing no emotion. Seokjin and Namjoon looked at him only to find Taehyung looking back at then."What for?", Seokjin asked with a frown. "I-...I suspected you and treat you badly..", Taehyung trailed off, taking a deep breath in order to control his feelings from overflowing. Seokjin and Namjoon had already known what Taehyung meant since Yoongi told him every single detail about was going on."It's not your fault. If anything we are sorry... we should have acted earlier and get you and mother out from that hell but we couldn't. Dad was detected with last stage cancer and we couldn't leave him. He was too weak to even bring him here. We had no choice but to stay with him", Seokjin explained."D-dad? He was with you?! And why did you lie about when you came here?", Taehyung stuttered.Namjoon sighed before answering the younger, "We came here earlier and even attended the event where Jaejoon announced you as the heir. We were supposed to somehow help you and Mother out soon but the chaos went up. And that day at the hospital we couldn't tell you because we decided it was better to let you out of the matter till we actually find a way to bring Jaejoon down"The other sat quietly listening to the whole situation."Why did you meet the attacker at the gathering then?!", Taehyung asked Seokjin."I didn't know he was someone suspicious. I mean he was about to bump into me and just talked randomly with me. I didn't even understand the point behind his words. That's it", Seokjin cleared. "This might have been planned out", Yoongi spoke out, gathering all the attention. "What do you mean?", Seokjin asked."It might have been a trap to make us believe that Seokjin is the prime suspect. So we wouldn't look for the actual culprit", Yoongi explained.His explanation instantly clicking in everyone's mind."I'll look more into Bomin's case. Until then, you guys better watch you backs and report anything suspicious as soon as possible", Yoongi commanded as he stood up from his place, walking next to Taehyung. "I have to go for now but Get well soon. We need you!", Yoongi spoke as he gave Taehyung a soft smile making Taehyung return the gesture."Thank you, hyung!", Taehyung thanked.Yoongi just ruffled his hair, saying bye to the rest before leaving.

Minna's POV

It was now just me and Taehyung. After Yoongi left, Seokjin and Namjoon left to look after their mother while Hoseok, Jimin, Anna and Jungkook left a few minutes ago towards the cafe. I insisted on staying and they agree asking what I and Taehyung wanted from the cafe. And now it's just two of us in an awkward silence, not knowing on how to start a conversation."I hope you know that you're out of this now", I looked up at Taehyung as soon as his words rang against my ears. He looked at me with same cold expression that i despise the most. "What... do you mean by 'i'm out of this'?!", I asked, straightening my back, squinting my eyes at him."You wanted to avenge Jaejoon. He's dead. Hoseok and Jimin are back. You're done!", He spoke in a casual way. "So? You telling me to... leaving now?!!", I exclaimed."What else do you think I'm saying?", His gaze held mine firmly."You're being ridiculous right now, Taehyung!", I scoffed at him."I don't care... Just stay away for the time being! I'm not asking you to do something real hard!", He retorted. I don't know why but him telling me to stay away hurt me in a way. "It would've been better if you told me to do something real hard! You think it's easy for me to leave you into this mess after knowing every single detail?! How can you even say that so effortlessly?!", I hissed him."It's to keep you safe! You have your family back now Minna! Think practically! This is not something you can easily butt into!", Taehyung raised his voice. I had to admit his expressions and his tone of talking did scare me to death. For a moment, I lost my composure but i held my emotions back. I couldn't bear loosing myself right now in front of him.I gulped before answering him, "i know! But you can't expect me to totally leave you alone!""Don't make me try my ways Minna-ya! I'm asking you for a favour that you must do either way!", He growled. And this time, i was sure that the tears were evident in my eyes."Fine! You always do this... but I won't stay still if something happens, you better mind that! Kim. Tae. Hyung!", I snapped before grabbing my purse and leaving the hospital.

Taehyung's POV

"Fine! You always do this... but I won't stay still if something happens, you better mind that! Kim. Tae. Hyung!", She snapped before grabbing her purse and leaving the room. I sighed, closing my eyes. I had to do that. I felt really bad when i saw those tears but i had to do it. I can't endanger anymore. The image of Jaejoon about to shoot Minna in the head kept replaying in my head that was keeping me from letting her stay with me.At least till it ends with Bomin. I can't let her be with me. She'll only get hurt. And i can't let it happen anymore.

Anna's POV

Jimin and I sat next to each other in the cafe as Hoseok and Jungkook sat in front if us. Our orders had arrived. All along we had talking about random stuff and the mood was nice. But somehow i felt an awkward tension between Jimin and Jungkook.While i was busy thinking about both of them, i didn't notice the molten lava cake was hot and took a spoon full of it."Ah!", i hissed as my lip and tongue burned. Jimin and Jungkook instantly shoved their iced americano in front of me. I halted at their action in sync. I then glanced at Hoseok who seemed to have a serious look on his faced as looked at the three of us. I knew this look. It meant something is about to go wrong. "I-...i'm okay", I said breaking Jimin and Jungkook's starring battle. "You should be careful", Both of them spoke in unison.I looked back and forth between the two. It was really really awkward. "Thanks for your concern but i can look after her", Jimin's words make my eyes widen in shock.I turned to see Jungkook's reaction and he seemed to glare back at Jimin."I'll do what i have to", Jungkook spat."Look! I know you have been taking care of her 'really well' but I'm back now", Jimin hissed."Jimin!", I exclaimed but got ignored."You should have been back earlier then! It may have been too late now", Jungkook shot back."Jungkook! Stop it... you two!", I protested yet again but this time looking at hoseok for help."She's right! Look around where you are before starting a quarrel!", Hoseok scolded the two."I'll head to the hospital", Jungkook sighed and stood up.It hurt me to see him leave like that."Wait-..", I was about to stand up and follow Jungkook when I got pulled back down to my seat."What?!", I asked Jimin who pulled me back."You're seriously going after him now?!", He growled at me. I was taken aback by his sudden change in behaviour."What has gotten into you Jimin!? What was even the point in starting such quarrel?", I questioned back."Woah... You really did change in the past months without us", Jimin spat and stood up before leaving. Hoseok sighed."Let's just go, Anna", He motioned me to follow him."No, i'll go to the hospital first", I told Hoseok, to which he nodded and we went our ways.

*At the hospital*I knocked and entered Taehyung's room. Jungkook sat their next to him with an expressionless face. Minna was no where to be seen, Hoseok told me about her message that confused but i had to talk to Jungkook right now."Yah... you all went together right? What happened to him? Where are the others?", Taehyung threw a bunch of questions at me.i sighed before answering, "Jimin and Hoseok went home. He and Jimin had a small bickering"Taehyung glanced Jungkook and me but didn't say anything."Jungkook, i- i want to talk to you" I gathered the courage and went near him. He gave me a brief glance before sighing and going out the door."They fought about you?", Taehyung asked as soon as Jungkook left.I couldn't help nod, looking down in embarrassment."Everything will be okay. Just talk it out well", He assured as reached for my hand, giving it a slight squeeze. I gave him a sincerely smile, thanking him before following Jungkook out. I went out and saw Jungkook sat on one of the chairs. I sat next to him before speaking."I'm sorry", I apologised.He kept quiet and stared down.

Author's POV

Minna rushed outside wiping her tears. As soon as she heard the notification bell from her phone she stopped in her tracks before reading the text.

His message made many emotions to rise in me. I was scared to face him yet i wanted to confront him. I wanted to ask where it all went wrong and persuade him to leave Taehyung alone. The message only gave me hope that he might actually listen to my words. Shaking my thoughts away, i exited from the chat and texted Hoseok.

Taking a deep breath, i went out of the hospital, hailing a cab and instructing the direction to the driver. A few minutes later, the driver stopped at the said destination. I paid and went out. Gathering a whole lot of courage before actually continuing my way towards the back of the place. I went in deep and by the end of the cliff, I saw a man's back that i considered as Bomin's.As if overhearing my footsteps, he instantly turned around, giving me a soft smile.

"I wasn't really expecting you'd come"
