Chapter 68

A/N: This song never gets old~

I have been really busy with my work lately so I rarely have time to write. But I know it has been awhile so it's about time for a new chapter and I hope you like it:D

Jade's POV

"Ugh I hate it so muchhhhh"

Perrie whined and fell on the soft mattress, lying like a starfish with her face down. I shook my head and giggled at her antics. She is always like this when it comes to packing. I took a glance at her bags, grimaced at the mess she had made, but at least she tried this time and only stopped after getting the things she needed based to the list I gave her. I had to otherwise she is going to miss a thing or two.

I let out a long sigh, then took out the messy clothes in her bags that she squeezed in randomly, and folded them tidily and placed them neatly in order. That's so much better. I nodded and continued to sort and organize her things, smiled once I spotted the waterproof camera and smirked when I saw the 'toy' Jesy bought her, they were missing on the list on purpose but she still remembered. I was almost finished when a pair of porcelain arms wrapped around my waist and soft lips pressed on my cheek.

"You are the best" She mumbled and pecked my cheek

"Well. Someone has to do it" I shrugged

"You are not 'someone', you are my beautiful fiancé" She corrected me

"That's why I have to do it" I emphasized on the word 'I', and let out a long dramatic sigh. I tried not to laugh when I heard her gasped

"Aw I am sorry baba. Let me make up to you" She tightened her grip and pressed her lips on my cheek again

"I am really really really sorry baba" She cooed and kept pecking my cheek, I couldn't help but giggled at her cute gesture

"I am not mad silly, not at all"

I laughed, quickly turning my head so her heart-shaped lips landed on mine, her eyes twinkled at the contact, my heart swelled knowing I had such effect on her

"But a kiss would definitely made me feel much better" I winked

"A kiss made everything better doesn't it?" She whispered, her sparkling blue eyes gazing at my lips

"Mmm Hmm"

I untangled her arms and turned around, I sat on her lap and encircled her neck with my arms, then wasted no time to reconnect our lips kissing those addicting soft lips. She hummed and kissed me back momentarily, raising a hand to cup my cheek to deepen the kiss while the other supported my back. It started slow and sweet but soon enough some lips nibbling and tugging were involved, and right now our tongues were battling for dominance.

I moaned when her tongue shoved in my throat, I could feel her smirking so I pushed her down to the ground and straddling her, knowing I had an upper hand when I was on top, then immediately thrust my tongue deeply in her mouth, successful earning a huge moan from her. I smiled at the victory but her hands were somehow sneakily made their way to my bum and groping it, and a squeeze was enough to make me mewled...Okay it's a competition now.

"Hey girls it's almost midnight let's cele...Oh Okay!"

I got off Perrie instantly, quickly fixing my cluttered hair and reluctantly looked at the intruder, my cheeks heated up once I saw Debbie at the door, who has a huge smirk on her face

"H-Hi Debbie"

"Hello Jade"

"Hey mom"

Debbie gave her daughter a glare because Perrie sounded really grumpy, clearly not pleased our make-out session had forced to be cut short, I hit her arm gently.

"Hey mom!"

She put on a big smile and sounded so much delighted this time, I giggled at her shit act because I could see Debbie rolling her eyes knowing it was all fake.

"Well hello to you too"

"What are you doing here mom?" Perrie growled

"That's rude babe" I scolded, she pouted and laid her head on my shoulder, looking up at me with her puppy eyes. I sighed and kissed her head, which brought a wide smile on her face

"It's alright Jade. She is like this since she was born. It's nothing new" Debbie shrugged

"Everybody is downstairs except you two...but I saw you have a better idea to celebrate new year so I will just go back down maybe..."

"Oh right! We will be down in a few minutes. We just need to pack a few more things then we are done" I quickly said and gestured at our bags

"I know you are helping her lazy ass...I am really sorry Jade" She apologized after taking a glance at our bags

"How did you know?" I laughed

"It's too neatly and organized to be her doing, and I was the one who helped her packed before you had taken my place, so of course I know"

"I tried to do it on my own but I just hate it so muchhhh" Perrie whined

"It doesn't mean you can just let Jade do all the work" She reprimanded

"It's okay Debbie I don't mind" I smiled

"I love you baba" She beamed and hugged me on the side

"I love you too baby" I grinned and pecked her cheek

"You really are a lifesaver Jade, I don't know how this one could survive without you"

"I couldn't live without her either" I said genuinely and grinned at my blonde

"Aw Jadey!"

Perrie pounded on me and smashed her lips on mine, kissing me passionately while straddling my hip, I was a bit embarrassed to let Debbie saw us like this but I kissed her back because I could never resist those plump lips. And to be honest, I don't really care about that anymore because we have already shown more than enough affection in front of our families, thanks to Perrie...

"Here we go again..."

That's the last thing I heard from Debbie before I got completely carried away by her daughter's intoxicating lips

"Finally! I thought you two would never come. We have been waiting for you." Karl yelped.

I stuck my tongue out, but before I could hit his arm, Perrie wrapped her arms around my waist and sat me down on her lap, I smiled and turned my head to place a kiss on her cheek, who flashed me a huge grin in return.

"No Jade you are not sitting there. Come sit with me" Karl patted the empty space next to him

"What?! Why?" Me and Perrie shrieked at the same time, her grip tightened showing no intention to let me go.

"Because we are going to play some games, and it's Thirlwall vs Edwards". I scanned across the room and noticed my family did all sit at the opposite side, while Perrie's on my side, I turned my head to Perrie and there was a cute pout on her face. Aw

"Can we not play in this way? I don't want to let this cutie goes and even go against her" Perrie whined, jutting out her bottom lip further.

"Aw baby" I cooed and pecked her lips, turning it into a smile

"Sorry sis we have to, we have to show the Thirlwall what we are made of! You are going down Karl Thirlwall!" Jonnie pointed an intimidating finger at my brother

"We will see! Don't cry when you lose Jonnie Edwards!"

"What happened?" Perrie asked confusedly and looked at her dad for an answer, as he was sitting next to us

"They have been arguing who is the best on every little things the whole night, and soon they turned it into a family thing and here we are. We all got dragged into the mess" He sighed, shaking his head.

"And they won't start until you two join, that's why I came to your room earlier. Gosh they are like two 3 years old..." Debbie added and rolled her eyes.

So it all started because of my idiotic brother and Perrie's equally dumb one

"Now come back here you traitor!" Karl yelled, clearly implying me

"No Jade you can stay, you are going to marry Perrie so you are one of us" Jonnie countered, a smug look on his face

"Well in this case they can both join our team too!" Karl protested

"Can you see how comfy they are right now? I don't think they want to go to your side and you can't force them to..."

Except the two who were in a heated conversation, and baby Karl who was busy playing with Hatchi not really know what was going on (thankfully our two brothers didn't realize they were on different team either otherwise they might want to separate them too), everybody else in the room sent me and Perrie a sympathetic smile, I did the same knowing they all were victims in this silly fight.

I turned to face Perrie, legs on either side of her hip. My heart fluttered when she raised a hand to push some of my loose hair to the back of my ear, fingers caressing my cheek. I smiled bashfully and wrapped my arms around her neck, pulling her closer.

"I don't think Karl will drop it if I don't go...I am sorry baby" I sighed

"But I don't want you to go" She pouted, pulling out the puppy dog eyes again

"Please don't baby. You know I can't go when you do that" I muttered

"Then don't" She breathed out, her blue eyes pleading me.

I closed my eyes and smashed my lips on her, wanting to at least give her one last kiss if I had to go, even though I highly doubted she would ever let me because she kept reconnect our lips every time I tried to part them. And I let her, relishing how her lips moved perfectly against mine and how those lips made me feel, no matter how many times we have kissed. Maybe they won't bother us if we kept kissing, but it seems Perrie had better idea as she suddenly pulled away, making me whimpered in lost.

"Hey how about me and Jade host the game? You can't really play without a host right? And it's only fair to have one from each team."

Perrie's words had brought our brother's attention as they stopped bickering, and seems to be considering her offer. When they both gave us a nod, we squealed in excitement like we had just won the game. Normally I love games, and I know Perrie does too because we are both really competitive, but this times we better off being the hosts than rivalry, if it meant not being detached.

"That's a brilliant idea. You are so smart baby" I grinned and pecked her lips

"I guess being with the smartest woman in the world helps" She winked

"I am not" I mumbled, blushing hard

"Of course you are love. Now hold onto me babe" She cooed

She stood up once I locked my legs around her waist and arms around her neck, she walked to the other side of the room and picked up a chair with one arm, while the other one carrying me. I watched her in awe as she walked back with ease and sat us down on the chair.

"Are you Supergirl?" I was awestruck

"Call me Superwoman" She flipped her hair cockily, making me laugh

"My super fiancé" I said proudly

"I love the sound of it" She cooed

I beamed and leaned in, wanting to kiss the shit out of her even though we have been kissing all day, but I guessed I have forgotten we weren't alone

"Hey when are you going to start the game? We only have about one hour until midnight and I have to beat him and claimed the winner before this year ended!" I heard my brother's voice, and I didn't have to turn around to know who he was referring to

"You can take the loser title dude!" Jonnie opposed

I rolled my eyes and gave Perrie a quick peck instead, I cupped her face when I saw the disappointment on her face.

"Just hang on for one more hour then we could have our kiss at midnight"

"Can't wait for our first New Year's Eve kiss babe"

"And many more to come"

"This is the last round guys! We will have our winner very soon!" Perrie exclaimed, earning some cheer and scream in return

We have been playing some Q&As, and to be fair we have to find a topic that all of them have knowledge of. Guess what? Me and Perrie had been asking questions about ourselves, well Little Mix to be exact, as it's the only topic we are confident they could answer, well if not they should be abashed. The competition was neck and neck and they all are really competitive, I guess it goes in the blood of the whole family, both Perrie's and mine, even though Karl and Jonnie's aggressiveness are on a whole different level, who kept shouting out the answers even if it's not their turns...

"Who are going to compete for the last round?"

I asked, rolling my eyes when I saw our brothers immediately raised up their hands, let say half of the time were them go against each other and I was kinda sick watching these two, and I think others had already guessed that and not bugging to volunteer themselves.

"This is the last question. To be clear, you have to raise your hand before you could answer and I will stop reading the question if you do. If you answer it wrong, the other gets the chance to answer it and whoever got it right first will be crowned the winner and take the title for his family so the stakes are really high guys. Are we clear?" I clarified, they both nodded and got into beast mode.

"Wooooooo who is gonna win? Would it be Jonnie Edwards?"

Perrie shouted and cupped a hand around her ear, the Edwards family started screaming and cheering for Jonnie, who grinned and waving at them like they were his fans.

"Or would it be Karl Thirlwall?"

She howled and this time was my family's turn to go crazy, I laughed when I saw Karl took a bow and blew kisses to them.

"Now let the game begin" She spoke in robot tone which made everybody laugh

"You are an excellent host baby" I giggled and pecked her cheek.

"Thanks babe" She beamed and wrapped an arm around my waist

To be honest we have done a pretty damn good job hosting the game, me asking questions and be the judge while Perrie interacting with them and make sure there was never a dull moment, and they all said we did great and could have our own show, which we told them they haven't seen the best yet without Leigh Anne and Jesy co-hosting with us because well, we are all bloody amazing and hilarious, we just need someone to sign us four up on a talk show or game show.

"Okay. Let's see what the last question is..."

I put my hand in a box that full of random questions me and Perrie had written down, and when I said 'random', I meant it literally. I remembered there was one question Perrie wrote was 'What was my answer of the square root of 144?". Yes she asked what was 'her answer', not the real answer, and she was really disappointed when no one knew the answer to it. So when I told her it's '3236', she got all excited and even a bit teary and rewarded me with a kiss that almost made everybody left the room.

Well what can I say? Even though I do remember every little things of her, that's too hard to forget because of how shocking her answer was...I don't think I would ever get over it.

I picked out a folded paper and slowly open it, Perrie squealed because it was her question.

"Babe this is too easy don't you think?" I laughed once I read the question

"Well you have to put some easy one in there" She chuckled

"Guys if you don't get it right you should be really ashamed of yourself okay" I crooked a brow at Karl and Jonnie, who looked really confident knowing it's an easy one

"So..." I paused and cleared my throat, smirked as they almost raised their hands

"Who formed Little Mix?"

They immediately put up their hands, it was close but I could still see one was quicker than the other by split seconds

"Karl, even though you are my brother...but Jonnie was faster on this one I am sorry" He looked really upset probably knowing Jonnie was gonna win with this one

"So, who is it Jonnie?"

"That's easy. It's Simon Cowell!"

I almost, almost believed he was telling me the correct answer because he said it out with so much conviction.

"No Jonnie! He wasn't even on the show in our season! I can't believe you get it wrong you idiot!" Perrie scolded, and the rest of the Edwards were shaking their head clearly disappointed at Jonnie, who was in complete shock.

"NO WAY! Everyone knows it was Simon!" He protested

"Yes way. Sorryaboutit. Now Karl, it's your turn. Please tell me you know." I pleaded

"Of course I do. I am going to win it for the Thirlwall!" He grinned cockily, earning cheers from my family

"So who was it?" I smiled

"Tulisa! Haha I beat you Jonnie Edwards!"

After he yelled out the answer in full confidence, he got up and started celebrating his 'victory' with a happy dance, he was so into it that's why he didn't notice my facepalm and the eye rolling from my mam. Gosh I never thought it was such a tough question to them.

"No dad you are wrong!" We all looked at the four years who turned out was paying attention to our game

"What are you talking about son? It's definitely Tulisa. She was their mentor" Karl stopped his dance move and looked at his son bewilderingly.

"No dad. It's Kelly. Isn't it Hatchi?" His small hand rubbing on Hatchi's soft fur

"Arf arf. Arf arf arf" Hatichi barked in response, licking baby Karl's cheek as he was being held in my nephew's arms

"Was it really?!" Karl asked in disbelief

"YES"

Everybody shrieked, except the two men who happened to be our brothers that looked absolutely startled and devastated at their loss

"I can't believe you didn't get it...even baby Karl and Hatchi know it" Perrie chortled, holding her stomach by how hard she was laughing. I watched her with an amused smile on my face.

"What now? Who won then?" Jonnie asked

"I guess it's a tie then" I shrugged

"What?! NO! Ask another question Jade, I have to beat him" Karl objected

I glanced at the time and noticed it was almost midnight, I shook my head, went to grab the remote and turned the TV on, which showed there was less than one minute to 2017.

"Sorry Karl we don't have time" I gestured on the screen

"WHY?!" He let out a long frustrated sigh

"Deal with it man"

I groaned, but my face immediately lit up when I saw Perrie walking towards me, wrapping her arms around my waist once she closed the gap, I beamed and encircled her neck with my arms. We gazed at each other fondly with a huge grin on our faces while listening to the countdown on TV and the yelp from our families

We both leaned in so our lips were only inches apart

Her grip tightened on my waist, pulling me closer so her lips were hovering mine, her nose nudging mine affectionately making my heartbeat quickened

The next second her heart-shaped lips were on mine, making my heart almost leaped with joy. I smiled into the kiss, pressing my lips firmer on her soft one. It's only the beginning of this year but I had a good feeling already.

I am kissing the love of my life, who I am going to be married and spent the rest of my life with, and we are no longer forbidden to show our affection to the world. I have my and Perrie's family with me right now which soon would become one big happy family. Our new album had been doing great, and we are going on tour to meet our lovely fans, with Jesy and Leigh Anne my two best friends...I couldn't wait to start the year and hopefully more good things to come

This is gonna be an amazing year
