No Gods, No Masters

SHIELD Secure Facility – Outpost V, Greenland – 0500 Hours

The guards never saw it coming.

One second: calm, clear sky. Routine perimeter sweep. High-frequency jammers active. A transport scheduled for 0700.

Next second: the clouds twisted open like teeth. A bolt of green lightning slammed into the frozen tundra.

Loki stepped through the breach in space first, his cloak whipping in the subzero wind, scepter already alive with magic.

Y/N followed a beat later — gauntlet lit, new armor humming softly with Stark energy. Her core glowed bright violet in the stormlight.

This wasn't a raid.

It was a statement.

Inside the Facility – 0502 Hours

The first wall buckled inward from a sonic burst. Guards scrambled. Panic surged across every comm channel. And then the footage came through:

Y/N Stark walking through the smoke like death incarnate. At her side: the god they swore would never escape again.

One guard raised a weapon. She didn't fire.

Y/N disabled his entire exo-rig with one magnetic pulse, walked past his collapsed form without blinking.

A second guard aimed for Loki.

Y/N blocked the shot with her hand. It ricocheted.

Loki turned to her with a smile. "You're getting faster."

"You're getting cocky."

She extended both hands. Her gauntlets fired twin arc bursts into the heart of the security grid.

The power went out.

The doors unlocked.

And the floor rumbled.

Because they hadn't just come for vengeance.

They came for the vault.

Vault Core – 0507 Hours

Y/N touched the terminal.

The screen flickered.

Then glowed.

Inside the vault were crates upon crates of experimental weaponry, most based on the very tech she'd designed five years ago — altered, militarized, corrupted.

"This is where they stored the prototypes," she said. "The ones I buried."

Loki stepped beside her. "And you want them destroyed?"

"No," she said.

"I want the world to see them."

Thirty Minutes Later – Live Broadcast Leak

All across the globe, every black-ops command center blinked red.

Footage played from Outpost V's own cameras.

Crates marked STARK PROPERTY opened, scanned, and displayed in brutal detail. Energy weapons. Neural disruptors. Tesseract-charged drones.

Each marked with a SHIELD clearance tag.

Each one illegal.

Each one tied to the Avengers.

The footage ended with Y/N staring into the camera.

"No gods. No masters. No secrets."

"I'm not asking for your approval."

"I'm just showing you the truth."

Avengers Compound – 0600 Hours

The fallout hit instantly.

Tony watched the feed in silence, hands clenched around the edge of the table.

Natasha was already compiling damage control files.

Steve paced, tight-lipped.

Bruce sat with his head down, shame written in his spine.

"She cracked the entire archive," Hill said, storming into the room. "Everything buried in Outpost V is exposed. Weapon manifests. Project histories. Covert ops signed under SHIELD but executed by us."

"She just made us criminals," Steve said.

"No," Tony said quietly.

"She just showed the world we always were."

No one disagreed.

Mountaintop Shelter – Hours Later

Y/N sat on a ledge above the ruins, a thermal cloak wrapped around her shoulders. She was silent, gauntlet powered down.

Loki approached from behind, slow and careful.

"They're panicking," he said.

She nodded.

"They should be."

"You said no more hiding," he said.

"I meant it."

Loki crouched beside her, reached to brush hair from her face.

"You're not afraid of what comes next?"

"I was," she said. "When I still thought I could be both."

"Both?"

"Daughter and rebel. Hero and destroyer."

She turned toward him, violet light pulsing faintly in her arc core.

"I'm not both."

"I'm just mine."

He smiled.

Then kissed her — slow, reverent, like worship.

She didn't stop him.

She sank into him.

Because tomorrow would be blood.

And tonight?

Tonight was hers.

Global Response – 0800 Hours

UN COUNCIL EMERGENCY SUMMIT CALLED.

Stark Enterprises stock drops 22%.

Public unrest builds in six countries.

Civilian protests erupt in London and San Francisco demanding declassification of SHIELD weapon archives.

World leaders demand the Avengers surrender Y/N Stark for prosecution.

Avengers Compound – War Room, 0830 Hours

"She's not just targeting us," Bruce said.

"She's unmaking the myth," Natasha added.

"She's not hiding her face anymore," Steve muttered.

Tony stared at a still image on the screen — Y/N stepping out of the vault at Outpost V, gauntlet still smoking, eyes bright.

His voice was barely a whisper.

"She's becoming something we can't stop."

Elsewhere – 1000 Hours

Y/N stood beneath the collapsed remains of an old Hydra site. The structure had been sealed for years. Buried. Forgotten.

She walked through the wreckage with quiet precision.

Loki beside her.

"Why this place?" he asked.

She stopped in front of a data terminal. Half-buried. Still blinking faintly.

"This was where they stored the records of every enhanced child they experimented on," she said.

"Before Wanda. Before Pietro."

He tilted his head.

"You want revenge?"

"No," she said. "I want a monument."

She turned on the camera hovering behind her.

"This is where they turned children into weapons," she said, staring into the lens. "And no one paid for it."

The data downloaded.

The broadcast began.

Again.

World Response – 1030 Hours

Y/N STARK RELEASES CLASSIFIED HYDRA TRIAL ARCHIVES.

Video footage includes child experimentation, enhanced subject torture, failed prototype testing.

World governments scramble to verify authenticity.

Public outrage surges.

"This is not treason," one protester says. "This is justice."

Avengers Compound – Private Hangar, 1100 Hours

Tony stood alone.

He hadn't spoken to the team in hours.

He'd watched every video. Every file she leaked.

And what broke him wasn't that she was right.

It was that he'd always known.

She was never just a Stark.

She was a scalpel.

He tried to dull her.

And now?

Now the blade was loose.

And cutting clean.
