Chapter 27

Alex's POV

We touched down in Ibiza and gently woke Perrie up letting her know that we'd arrived at our destination. I watched her sleepily look out the window at the scenery taking it in in all its beauty. I took her hand as we got off the plane, guiding her down the steps.

We were in a taxi on our way to the place where we would be transported to our boat. Not gonna lie I was really excited about this holiday, last year was really good but I had to have rehab whilst I was away which was frustrating. This year I can enjoy everything to the fullest. I know Perrie's particularly excited by the idea of going snorkeling in the ocean and whatever other water activities we get up to.

The boat was massive, I mean I knew it was going to be big but this could pass as a place someone could live full time. I was unpacking my clothes when Perrie walked out in a yellow bikini. Fuck. She was stunning, mesmerising in fact. How I managed to end up with her is beyond me, a smirk appeared on her face, clearly she knows the affect she has on me. She gave me a quick peck on the lips and walked out to the outer part of the boat. I changed into some swimming shorts and went and joined everyone else outside.

Perrie's POV

Alex walked outside in just swimming shorts and I came to the conclusion that I didn't know how I was going to control myself this holiday if he spent every day without a top on. Nevertheless, I was excited to go paddle boarding so jumped at the opportunity when it came about. I watched as Alex's face grew concerned about what I was about to do, not particularly dangerous but potentially fatal should it all go wrong. I flashed him a reassuring smile before jumping into the water.

The paddle boarding was so much fun and I was now back on the boat looking through the photos that Matt had taken deciding which one would be best to go on my Instagram. Honestly it's really useful when your boyfriends best friend is a photographer, it comes in really handy for just about every occasion. Alex got Matt to send some to him for 'future use' as he put it, cheeky bugger.

I was doing my makeup before we went out for the evening, tonight it was just me and Alex going out which would be nice. Corresponding outfits were sorted before we even left which definitely halved the time it took us to get ready. We got Matt to take some photos of us before we left, these ones wouldn't be going on the insta, don't get me wrong I love showing my man off and I love the support we both get from the fans but sometimes it's nice when not everything is completely public online, paps had already managed to get some snaps of us on the boat and we'd only been there a day.

We made our way onto the land and to a restaurant that Alex had booked prior to our arrival, it looked the perfect combination of special and not too fancy, with its lights guiding the way to the entrance. Honestly this whole place is beautiful, I'm going to have to come back at some point.

Alex's POV

We took our seats in the restaurant and looked at the menu, one of many positives of dating Perrie is that she really isn't picky when we eat, anywhere we go she'll eat anything providing it's not too fancy. I decided to have spaghetti bolagnase to make up for the one I didn't get last night because my girlfriend has got me wrapped around her little finger. Perrie decided on chilli con carne and we ordered a bottle of red wine to wash it down with. We talked about work and our careers whilst we waited for our food before settling on a comfortable silence once the food had arrived. The food was delicious and we both ordered a chocolate bomb for dessert watching it melt in front of our faces in delight.

We held hands as we walked along the beach enjoying each others company, savouring the moments we get to spend together because they can be hard to find when the season is back on and she goes on tour. Don't get me wrong, I love playing football and I love watching her perform in front of all her fans but I do wish I could spend more time with her. I suppose it makes me appreciate the time l get to spend with her more.

After walking from nearly one end of the beach and back we took the small boat that would take us to the boat we were staying on and got back to our room at around 10. We both got changed and climbed into bed, Perrie's head resting on my chest as usual but the rest of her body fidgeting. I stroked her hair in an attempt to calm her down but it wasn't working. "Baba what's up?" I said gently, she looked up at me, her blue eyes meeting with mine "I don't know, I just feel uneasy" she responded. I told her to roll onto her back and started to give her a massage trying to loosen her back muscles and any other tension that she might have had. Once I had finished her head took up its familiar position on my chest and her breathing slowed down signalling to me that she had fallen asleep and I could now sleep peacefully knowing that my girl was somewhat happy and that was all that mattered to me.
