The next sunup

I wake up to someone stroking my back with their nose. I see Firestar at the entrance about to stroke my back some more. "Oh your awake,"Firestar whispered.

"Of course I'm awake since you stroking my back with your nose,"I replied.

"Come on let's head out into the clearing and get some fresh kill,"and we walked out to the fresh kill pile.

"Firestar?,"I called.

"Yes?,"Firestar looked up from his vole.

"If we ever have kits would you want them or it to be a beautiful she-cat or a handsome tom?"

"Either one. After all, it is starclan's choice. But, if you ask hard enough, I bet starclan will listen."Firestar smiled.

"Oh Firestar ," I chuckled.
