Chapter Eighty Three

Sam couldn't believe she had gotten her girl back. Beth Greene. She really was here. So many thoughts ran through her mind. Was she hurt? Did she find another group? Was she with anyone from our group?

"Is anybody else with you?" Sam asks with a hopeful smile.

Beth sighs and shakes her head.

"I was with Daryl and Ari but a big herd came through, Daryl and Ari took them down, told me to run. To find you, and Maggie and Ellie. Are they here with you?"

"Yeah...Yeah they're here. So is Bob, Sasha, Merle and Glenn...We got some new people too."

Beth raises her eyebrows and nods in Lauren's direction.

"She's one of them I'm guessing." She says crossing her arms.

Sam turns around slightly and looks at Lauren and nods her head.

"Yeah, that's Lauren."

Beth slowly walks past Sam and walks towards Lauren. The brunette shuffles her feet slightly and gives the blonde a small smile.

"Hi."

"Hi. I'm Beth, and that's my girlfriend." She growls before raising her hand and slapping Lauren hard across the face. "You little bitch."

Lauren clutches her face as tears sting her eyes. Sam gives her a small smile and walks over to Beth and kisses the side of her head. Lauren shakes her head and walks away towards the group.

"Come on." Sam smiles and grabs Beth's hand as they run past Lauren and run towards the camp.

A smile sits upon Sam's face. She can't wait to see the look on Maggie's face.

They burst through the trees and everyone quickly raises their weapons, but they're slowly lowred, except for one that can be heard falling to the ground.

Maggie stands there in shock, not believe what she's seeing.

"Maggie!" Beth yells happily and releases her hand from Sam's and runs into Maggie's open arms.

"Beth! Oh I missed you so much." Maggie cries.

"I missed you too." Beth says pulling away.

Ellie slowly walks over to Beth and just stands there, looking her up and down.

Merle joins them and pats her back gently.

"Where...Where's Daryl?" Ellie asks.

Beth takes her hands and holds them tightly.

"I was with him...And Ari...But a herd...A huge herd...They told me to run. To find Sam, Maggie and you."

Ellie roughly removes her hands and grits her teeth angrily.

"You just left him?! HE COULD BE DEAD!" Ellie growls.

Sam quickly walked over and pulled Beth behind her, she tried to calm Ellie down but nothing would work, she found that out the hard way when a stinging sensation could be felt on her cheek.

"Sam...Sam..I'm so sorry." Ellie gasps and goes to hug her but Sam takes a step back, shocked at what has just happend.

"So ya should be."

Ellie eye's widen and she turns around slowly.

Stood behind her covered in blood is someone she wasn't expecting to see.

"Daryl." She whispers.
