—————————————CHRIS WAITED IN HER MUSIC studio whilst she had a shower and brushed her teeth for about ten minutes when she walked through the door. "You don't look ready." Chris said staring at his phone not even looking at Cosette in her pyjamas still after having had the shower."Thanks." Cosette scoffed loudly."Although you do smell better." He said whilst standing up. She had forgotten how tall he was compared to her, even though most of the guys at her school were taller than her, she noticed it about Chris weirdly.He grabbed the guitar and started strumming and making sure it was in tune, when he asked why the fuck her family were rich enough to have a whole music studio.

"My dad he- he passed away, with an unexpected amount of money last year left in a separate bank account, a third of it went to my mum last year- and I sing occasionally- I'm not actually quite sure why I told you that." He stopped strumming and looked down at the floor solemnly.

"Sorry." He said in a quiet, deep voice."Thanks." She stared out the window into the distance as he looked at the floor in silence for a while, before Chris started humming a tune and then grabbing a piece of paper and jotting down notes. He played it. He played it again. It sounded good. "You know what. You can go and do whatever and I'll stay in here and come up with the first bit of the song, then you can make the lyrics up for that part of the song, and then you can surprise me at the show when I hear it for the first time." He said quietly. "Uhh okay do you want lunch in like an hour? I can order McDonald's.." she adds hoping he'd say yes."Yeah sure." She went into her room and put on her makeup then went downstairs to play Mario Cart with her younger brother since she promised she was going to spend time with him. He ran up to her and she hugged him sitting him down to the side of her passing a controller.

About an hour passes by and Chris comes out of the studio and knocks on the living room door since it was shut, but Cossete and Charlie were invested in their game so they kept their eyes glued to the screen."Just come in!" Cosette says passing Charlie getting into first place and screaming when she wins. Charlie looked like he was going to cry before he heard the door open and looked at Chris, a little scared and confused."Oh erm- Charlie this is Chris my- friend.?" Chris walks toward Charlie and sits down looking at the tv and grinning."Hey Charlie are you playing Mario cart? That's one of my favourite games!! Can I play?" He said really sweetly making Charlie smile and nod. Chris surprised Cossete once again, she didn't think him the type of guy to act all cute around kids especially Charlie's age- he was only 7."Here you can have my controller I'll be back in a second." She said getting up of the couch. As she gave the controller to him she felt his warm hands graze against her cold ones. She turned away and started walking to the bathroom when Chris adds turning his head in Cossetes direction but keeping his eyes on the game."Oh and can you please order some food now? I'll have nuggets, Pepsi and fries thanks cosy" he called her cosy again. She didn't notice it ever really but I guess he never really talked to her that much.

She got the food and sat down with him in the kitchen sitting at the breakfast bar for some reason."Thank you soo fucking muchhh." He said whilst immediately grabbing the Pepsi."So Pepsi huh?" Cossete wondered taking a sip of her water."Huh?" He looked down at her."Pepsi- you just always have one with you. Do you always have Pepsi or is it just coincidental that every time I see you your drinking it?" She asked genuinely taking Chris by suprise that she even noticed."Nah Pepsi is my favourite drink of all time." He said taking a fry.

They talked for about an hour about random shit when they hear the doorbell ring.

Chris looked at his phone."Shit I didn't realise the time, Matts here I'll see you later cosy." He said leaving Cosette questioning herself.Why did she enjoy that so much? Why was he so nice to Charlie? Why did he suddenly stop being a dick to her?
