——————————————COSETTE HAD TIMED HALF AN hour on her phone before she and Chris could go back to class, they didn't go to Miss Stevens office they just ended up sitting next to her locker and on their phones."Right let's go then." She says getting up. Chris nodded his head in response and got up running his fingers through his surprisingly knotless hair and taking the 100th sip from his Pepsi. She walked inside to see everyone in the soundproof music rooms and says, "sir I'm deeply sorry for disturbing your lesson." "Good." He looks over at Chris placing his glasses at the tip of his nose rather that the bridge."Yeah, what she said." He says quietly scratching his neck. Chris looked to the side and then down at Cosette, but then looking straight at the teacher again."Good enough, right since you missed the first forty five minutes or so you will have to be each others partners." Cosette's face dropped instantly in shock horror, partners with Chris? Absolutely not. She looked over at Chris who had the same open-mouth wide-eyed expression on his face and back to the teacher. She was about to argue her point but the teacher obviously saw and decided to interrupt her."There will be no discussion, you have the whole of Christmas break to write a song, based on sad feelings that one or the other has faced, you are in practice room B for this lesson. See you next year and happy holidays." He said not caring for Cosettes input. She stormed off to the practice room Chris following in similar pursuit.

They both sat there in silence before Chris spoke up."I can't play piano but I can play guitar." He said less mad in a quiet suggesting tone. This surprised Cosette a lot, Chris had never been to academic and learning an instrument is obviously an extracurricular activity. "Really? Cool. I could try come up with the lyrics" They might aswell try. They have the whole Christmas holidays together by the looks of things."Yeah, could we do it like soft at first but turn it into some sort of rap song?" He asked getting louder as he spoke. She hated the idea of rap but I guess they had to cooperate. "Sure."

I'm the end they decided for it to be about Chris's house fire which was pretty traumatic for him so Cosette could definitely sympathise.

When it got to last lesson P.E. she was excited, the holidays started tomorrow and her last lesson was with Isla, except they were only watching a guys basketball match. "You know Chris likes basketball." Cosette thought aloud. "So?" Isla says sitting down on a seat farthest from the pitch."I don't know."she answers truthfully."How do you know that anyways, I thought you guys hated each other?" Isla questions."We have a music assignment together so we were stuck in a music room for an hour and-" she gets cut of by Heather May and her large "popular" friend group. Isla and Cosette lean back to eavesdrop."Is it true then?" One of the blonde girls asked."Are you dating him?!?" Another blonde asked. Heather nodded in response, she's dated nearly half the school, but to be fair she is really pretty. Cosette wondered who it was as she saw Chris scoring again. His triplet brothers were the only ones clapping and cheering for him until Heather started to slow clap too. Which was strange as Chris wasn't apart of her friend group. "I cannot believe you are dating Chris Sturniolo, personally I prefer Matt...." The voices of the girls got drowned out by Cosettes thoughts. Chris, dating Heather? No surely not, it must have been some sort of prank or.. no, no. Wait what did it matter to her anyways? It was just Chris? Chris who would slap his brother nicks ass when he saw him in the lunch line, Chris who Cosette disliked immensely. She looked back over to Chris who was chugging his water bottle and combing through his hair  with his fingers. He did that a lot, she thought before catching her self and muttering 'because he has long grandma hair' which Isla must have heard."Huh?" She asked."Don't worry." Cosette said smiling to herself. Whatever, the match was nearly done and it was nearly Christmas break.
