My first date!!!

Later that evening, Nya came over to my place and she helped me pick out an outfit and get ready. We decided on a white tank top with a few frills, ripped dark jeans, a denim jacket, a small pair of light weight hoop earrings, converse shoes, and my hair up in a curly ponytail. " Oh my GOODNESS!!!! Y/N you look so great!" Nya exclaimed practically jumping out of her own pants. I giggled and thanked her while she helped with my makeup. Soon we heard a knock on the door. We sprinted down stairs. My mom gave me a thumbs up. I hugged Nya and thanked her again before opening the door. Lloyd was standing there in a green (of course) button up shirt with jeans. " Hi Lloyd you look so cute." I gasped as he pulled out a rose from behind his back and handed it to me with a cheeky smile. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen! I took it and held it up to my nose to smell it. " You look beautiful." he said staring at me. " Thank you. Nya helped a lot." I replied giving her credit. " Where are we going?" I asked. He held out his hand, and I took it. " You'll see." He answered and told me to put on my ninja mask, and he put his on. I put mine on and he led me out the building to see his dragon mech sitting in an alley way across the street. We walked over to it and he helped me climb on. " Hold on." He said and took off. I gasped at the sudden movement and wrapped my arms tightly around his waist.

We flew to a large empty park and landed it in a clear space. We hopped off and I turned to see a picnic all laid out for us with our favorite type of pizza, strawberries, an apple pie, and some chips with cheese dip. I smiled big. " Surprise!"He shouted in a whisper with jazz hands. I giggled and hugged him. He hugged me back tightly and nestled his face in the crook of my neck. I let go after a minute and we were both blushing. We sat down and ate the delicious food. By the time we were done, it was dark and the sun had gone down. We laid down in the grass beside each other and looked up at the stars. Lloyd was very quiet. " Lloyd are you ok?" I asked him. " Hm? Oh yeah I'm alright.... just thinking about my d-...." he trailed off. I waited in silence for him to continue. " Y/N why do you like me? I-I mean I'm the son of Garmadon." He said and I grabbed his hand. " Lloyd....." I said and squeezed his hand. " You are the sweetest guy I have ever met, you're brave, you stand up for what's right, and..... you're cute." I whispered the last part. He chuckled. " I just wish that he would stop trying to conquer Ninjago, a-and that we would just get along and for him to just be my dad...." He said with his voice cracking. I couldn't think of anything to say. I sat up and he did the same. " Lloyd... look at me." I told him and put my hand on his face and he looked into my eyes, "I never knew my dad, and I can't imagine what you're going through. But it's ok. Alright? Everything will turn out ok." I told him and suddenly felt emotional. I sniffed blinking back tears. Lloyd wiped away a tear that had fallen and pulled me into a hug. I berried my face into his warm chest as he stroked my hair. I heard his shaky breathing. " It's ok.... I'm sorry..... I know this might not be the best time to ask but.... will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, and I froze. I pulled away from the hug to look at him and smiled. " Yes Lloyd! YES!" You both laughed and jumped up. Lloyd picked you up and spun you around. I giggled before he put me down. " Y/N I'm so happy right now.... with you." I don't think I've ever seen a smile bigger than Lloyd's.

Lloyd took me home not long after that. On the way back we never stopped smiling and I hugged his waist tightly while resting my head on his shoulder. When we got there we climbed of of his dragon mech, and I thanked him for the best time I've had in my whole life. Lloyd chuckled and cupped my face with one hand causing me to look up into his shinning emerald eyes. " I-I.... I love you Y/N." Lloyd said slowly, and my heart fluttered. " I... I love you too Lloyd." I whispered sweetly. Our faces got closer. Lloyd took another step, and I could feel his warm breath on my face, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Our lips connected, and though it was a little chilly outside the kiss was warm and sweet. Our hearts melted together. After a little bit we broke the kiss and hugged each other. " We should do this more often." he whispered and smirked after letting go. I just nodded my head and brushed some of his shaggy white hair out of his face. He kissed the tip of my nose before climbing back on his mech, and he waved goodbye. I waved back before he flew off. I watched him go until I couldn't possibly see him from where I was anymore. I squealed with excitement, and thought about all that happened that night. I have a boyfriend! Lloyd! I never had one before, and right now I hope he's the only one I'll ever have. I rushed back inside to have a more fun with Nya at our sleepover and told her everything.
