New school and New friends

Your alarm went off and you sat upright in your new bed. You got up and put on your outfit you had laid out. A white shirt, black jeans that were ripped some, and your favorite gray jacket with combat boots. You put your hair in a ponytail and applied some makeup, and then you realized how nervous you were, and suddenly you couldn't tell if you wanted to eat something or vomit. You didn't like to admit it but you were really shy. You knew you could't let anyone find out you had powers and had always carried a ninja mask around in case you had to throw it on to use your powers without anyone knowing it was you. You had tried to teach yourself to fight before, but your powers were enough most of the time, along with your flexibility and acrobatic skills you learned years ago thanks to gymnastics. You used them against robbers, or jerks trying to cause trouble, although you didn't use them much you had learned to control them. You were born with them and your mom was the only person who knew about it. She told you that your father was an elemental master (whatever that was) and that he's the reason you had your powers.

You walked down stairs to the smell of bacon. " Good morning Y/N." your mom said with a smile. " Good morning mom. Oooo yum!" you said suddenly wide awake looking at the bacon. Your mom chuckled. You fixed your plate, sat down at the island and enjoyed the warm breakfast of bacon and eggs. The news was on the tv across the kitchen and in the living room. " Good ~~ morning Ninjago!" came a voice from the tv, and it started going on about how Garmadon was going to attack the city again today and about the ninja, which you and your mom had heard of. There was Fire, Earth, Ice, Water, Lightning, and the green ninja who appeared to be the leader. You kinda liked him but thought that you would never meet him. Then birthdays; " This hot dog guy, this panda, and - *gasps* Lloyd Garmadon!" another reporter continued, " The son of the evil Lord Garmadon. Must be tough to be that kid." I froze and realized that this Lloyd probably went to my new school, but that didn't mean he was evil. He actually looked rather cute and innocent from the picture they showed on the screen. I gasped as I looked down at my watch realizing what time it was. " I gotta go mom." you told her and stood up to leave. You grabbed your backpack, and walked towards the door. " Ok bye sweetie have a great day at school, and be careful!" she emphasized on the last few words. I waved goodbye and headed towards the bus stop.

When I got there I saw a few other kids waiting, and then a blonde guy with green eyes and a green jacket on walked over with a kind of smile on his face, he waved and said hello. The other kids pulled out there phones and began to text extremely fast. I gasped almost silently as I realized who that was. Lloyd Garmadon. I just stood there as my hands started shaking a little bit even more nervous. He looked cuter in person. I didn't know why but I couldn't stop staring at him. 'No, No, No, you can't like a person you've never met before' I thought to myself. He sighed and looked down for a minute before looking right up at me. He looked into my eyes and gave me a confused yet sympathetic look. He smiled softly. Then the bus got here I followed the rest of the kids on and Lloyd followed behind me. Everyone on the bus was acting crazy, but when he got on they all stopped. I kept walking slowly, and sat down on a row to the left. I noticed Lloyd followed me. He looked nervous and stuttered, " H-hi...um... c-can I sit here?" he asked me. I looked at his innocent face, " Yeah.... sure." I said kindly and smiled, and for some reason his eyes widened. "R-really? Don't you hate me cause of my dad like everyone else?" he asked confused but seemed a little happy. Wait did he say hate? Who could hate him? He seemed so nice. " What? No... just because your dad's evil doesn't mean you are.." I replied and looked up at him again and scooted over so he could sit by me. He extended his hand, " I'm Lloyd..." he introduced himself. I shook his hand, " I'm Y/N.", we smiled at each other and he sat down before noticing that everyone else on the bus was squished together on the other side. I frowned thinking that was just mean, but Lloyd didn't seem to care. He just smiled and payed no attention to it. This made me stop frowning and a smile twitched at the corner of my mouth.

Lloyd's pov. (point of view)

'Alright I'm gonna have a good day' . I walked over to the bus stop where a few of the kids were already there. " Hellooo." I said hoping for a good response. Nothing. They pulled out their phones and started texting each other quickly. Probably about me. I sighed disappointed and looked down at the ground. What was I expecting? I looked up and noticed a girl I'd never seen before standing there, but she wasn't on her phone like everyone else. She was looking at me with pretty E/C (eye color) eyes with her H/C hair in a ponytail with a F/C streak showing. She was...... I don't know how to describe it... beautiful and mysterious.? I felt myself smile a bit and she smiled softly back. The bus came and we broke the gaze. The other kids got on first and she followed then I got on and everyone stopped except her and I who kept walking slowly to a seat. I followed the mysterious girl as she sat on a row to the left, and I got up the nerve to ask if I could sit next to her. I got so nervous all the sudden as I thought she would never want to sit next to me, but here it goes, " H-hi... um.. c-can I sit here...?" I stuttered. " Yeah... sure." she said looking at me with kind eyes. My eyes widened. " R-really? Don't you hate me cause of my dad like everyone else?" I said confused but slightly happy. " What? No... just because your dad's evil doesn't mean you are..." she said looking up at me, and then scooting over so that I could sit next to her. I was still shocked, " I'm Lloyd..." I introduced myself holding out my hand. " I-I'm Y/N." she replied and shook my hand. We smiled at each other. I sat down and felt happier than I think I ever have. Except for when I met the ninja, my friends, Zane, Kai, Cole, Jay, and Nya, Kai's sister.

Time skip to school.

Your pov.

When we got to school Lloyd and I stood up and walked off the bus I followed behind him. And just like what happened when he we got on the bus, when we got off everyone froze and watched as we walked up to the school I heard a girl whisper something; " That's the kid I was telling you about. His dad ruins everything." Lloyd ignored it all and turned to me, " I haven't seen you here before I'm guessing you're new..?" he asked. " Yeah my mom and I move around a lot cause she needs work. She says she thinks this could be our permanent home, but..." I trailed off. He kept walking in silence waiting for me to continue. " I'm afraid we'll end up moving again." I sighed and looked down. " It'll be ok..." he said, and somehow I felt a little better. " I-if you like I can show you around.." he said looking at me. " Thanks." I replied and smiled at him. I jumped at a sudden; " Hello." it came from a guy voice except... it sounded off. I turned to see a guy with white/blonde hair that stuck up. He was wearing a long sleeved shirt. " Zane! Hi!" Lloyd exclaimed. I guess he knew him then. " Man my mom is my case all the time she's always-" he said before 'imitating' his mom by making a bunch of beeping sounds and waving his hands around and then scream whispering at the end. I laughed at his funny imitations. " Who are you?" Zane asked curious. " Zane this is Y/N. She's really nice." Lloyd answered for me and smiled. " Nice to meet you Zane." I said.

When we got inside what appeared to a few more of Lloyd's friends came up and told him happy birthday and gave him a hug. I laughed. Apart from Lloyd and Zane there were 4 others. Lloyd introduced me and his friends. " Y/N this is Kai," he pointed at a guy with crazy brown hair wearing mostly red, "Jay" he pointed at a guy with redish brownish hair wearing mostly blue, " Cole" he gestured at a guy with shaggy black hair half way up in a man bun with headphones on wearing mostly black, " And Nya, Kai's sister." he said gesturing toward a girl with dark hair up in a ponytail she was wearing a white and black striped shirt with a black leather jacket, and ripped blue jeans. They all waved and said hi and I did the same back. " Its nice to meet you all." I told them with a sincere smile. The guys gave Lloyd a look and elbowed him making him blush and rub his neck. I blushed too slightly and looked down at my feet to hide it.

Just then a group of two girls and a guy in cheer outfits came by. " Oh look its Garma-dork and the dork squad. Wanna hear are new chant?" It was the guy that spoke. I hated that voice immediately and gave him an evil look. " L" "L" "O" "Y" "D" " His dad is bad and so is he! Boo Lloyd!... Boo Lloyd!" they all 'cheered' and the guy yelled the last part; "Boo Lloyd!" Lloyd gave a fake sarcastic looking smile and said; " Great chant! Hope you have a number 1 hit on your hands!"
