Good Bye, I love you, Good bye

20:03, 15 February 2019

Dear Hotel Note-Pad Diary,

I still can't believe I left my laptop charger back at the dorms... I'm actually writing my diary entries in the hotel's notepads...

Anyways...

It's our last day.

Today when we get on the plane... they go back home and I go back home...

This is my last day with them...

I have to make the best of it.

Good news though, I think Jihoon and I are friends again. We hang out often and we've been making music together most of the time too...

I'm gonna miss him...

Don't be sad! I still have all day today!

I still have my last day...

Make the most of it Jessica...

-Jessica

I placed the pen down softly on the table and looked over to Woozi still sleeping on his bed.

'I bet he stayed up late again after I went to bed.'

I sighed and slowly packed my clothes into my suitcase and got things ready for my flight tonight.

I placed my suitcase under my bed and sat down on the floor, my back leaning on the wall.

"Jay?"

I peeked over my bed and saw Woozi beginning to sit up on his bed.

"Morning, how did you sleep?"

He rubbed his eyes while nodding and he hummed in response.

"Go wash up. I'm already done getting ready so I'll wait for downstairs to eat breakfast, cool?"

I stood up from the floor as Woozi stood up from his bed. I handed him his towel and guided him to the bathroom by his shoulders.

"Alright, I'll meet you there soo-"

He was cut off by my phone ringing.

"Who is calling you?"

I grabbed it out of my pocket and I frowned at the name I saw shining bright on the screen.

"Who's calling?"

I shook my head and looked at him.

"Just spam. Don't worry about it. Go wash up. I'll meet you down there."

I gave him a quick smile and shooed him into the bathroom then I left the room.

I leaned back on the wall next to the door and I answered the phone.

-["Hello?"]

-["Are you packed?"]

-["I don't get on the plane until tonight. Why the rush?"]

-["I asked if you are already packed."]

-["...Yes, I  am..."]

-["Good. The manager will be giving you your ticket when you go down. Go now."]

-["Yes dad..."]

-["When you get on the plane the person sitting next to you will help you with any connecting flights you'll have to do.  Alright?"]

-["Yes dad..."]

-["Good girl. Oh yes, also, I almost forgot, before you get of the plane. Change into a dress or the best clothes you have. Right after you get off the plane you'll be driven to a lunch with your mother to discuss your wedding plans."]

-["Wait, wedding plans? What are you talking about?"]

-["While you were gone we found a boy your age from a wealthy company to make connections with. You need to marry their son to seal the deal."]

-["No! I didn't agree to this!"]

-["You don't have a choice. You're my daughter. And you will marry him like it or not."]

-["But, dad!"]

-["I'm hanging up."]

-["No! Wait! Listen to me-"]

As I heard the line cut off from the other side I felt a tear go down my cheek.

'I'm 18. I'm in love with a kpop idol. I'm getting married to somebody I don't know. And I'm leaving the one I love... Perfect...'

I shoved my phone in my pocket and looked up to the ceiling.

I let out a sigh and closed my eyes.

Soon after I felt a hand on my cheek drying my tears.

"Why are you crying?"

I opened my eyes quickly and looked straight at Chan who was standing in front of me.

I moved away from him and dried my tears quickly before clearing my throat.

"It's just because. It's our last day of our trip and it was a lot of fun and I'm going to miss being here since everything was so pretty and relaxing and I'm going to miss hanging out with all of you everyday and playing everyday and... I'm rambling..."

I turned to look at him and he had a smile on his face.

"Well, yeah we might go back to our old routine but that doesn't mean that we won't see each other anymore. We're still going back to the dorm at the end of the day and you know you're always welcome to pass by the practice room whenever you want."

Dino walked closer to me and held my hands in his.

"Yeah... you're right..."

He softly flicked my forhead and chuckled.

"Let's go get breakfast."

I nodded and smiled while I followed him down.

~:~

"Give me a second I need to stop by the front desk to get something I asked for."

Dino nodded and gave me a small smile.

"I'll save us a table to eat at, cool?"

I smiled and gave a thumbs up.

"Jihoon oppa will be joining us by the way! Save a seat for him too!"

Dino nodded and quickly walked to the dining area.

I turned and made my way to the front desk.

"Excuse me? I'm pretty sure my dad left a plane ticket for me here..."

The man at the front raised his eyebrow at me and hummed.

"Jessica Kingsley?"

"Yes, that is me."

"You're father left this plane ticket and this document. He said to tell you the document holds all the information you need to become comfortable with him."

"Ah, yes. Thank you... Have a nice day..."

I grabbed the plane ticket and quickly put it in my pocket. I looked at the document in my hands and sighed.

'I don't want to get to know him...'

I began to make my way over to the dining area. On the way there I was Jihoon heading in that direction as well.

"Oppa!"

He turned and smiled when he saw me then gave a small wave.

"I thought you'd be eating already."

I shook my head and smiled.

"I had to pick up something at the front desk first..."

He raised his eyebrows in curiosity.

"Is it that document you have? What is it?"

I stiffened at the mention of the document.

"Yeah... Don't worry about it though. It's just some personal things I needed..."

He smiled again.

"Okay. Let's go eat, I'm really hungry!"

He grabbed my hand and pulled me along with him towards the dining area. After we both got what we wanted I searched for Dino to find our seats.

"Jay! Here!"

I looked to my left and saw Dino waving me over. I nodded and looked back at Woozi.

"Oppa, this way."

I pulled on Jihoon's sleeve and guided him over to the table with me.

"We're here!"

Dino gave a small smile and gave Woozi and quick glance before looking at at me.

"Let's hurry and eat. Should we go to the beach today? Or head to an arcade later?"

I looked at Woozi to see his opinion on the places suggested.

"Either one is fine. It's our last day and we've pretty much done everything here."

I nodded and began to eat.

"Let's do both then!"

They both looked at me.

"Arcade first and beach later. I want to see the sunset before we leave..."

They both nodded and began to eat as well.

~:~

We were tired. Really tired. We had gotten to the arcade about an hour after eating. We had walked slowly and taken our time on our way there.

As soon as we got there we began playing the arcade games and going around the whole place playing everything. That is, until we got to DDR. And of course both Chan and Jihoon super good dancers so for the rest of our time at the arcade they both spent their time playing DDR.

Slowly as time went on a crowd began to form around us. Jihoon would win one round then Chan would win the other. In the end both tied and we called it a day.

Currently we are talking to the beach near our hotel just as the sun is going down.

'Just a little more...'

I looked at both of then through the corners of my eyes.

Jihoon on my right and Chan on my left.

'How am I gonna be alone with Woozi while Chan here... I need to get us alone... I need to tell Jihoon how I feel before I leave...'

"Are you okay?"

I looked to my left to see Chan looking at me with concern.

"Ah...um... I feel a bit lightheaded actually..."

I felt somebody grab my hand. I turned to my right.

"Lightheaded? Why? Do you need water?"

I looked at Woozi who had begun looking around.

"I guess... Maybe water will help me feel better..."

Dino put his hand on my shoulder.

"I'll go get you some water. I'll be right back."

I opened my mouth to say something but Chan had already begun jogging towards the nearest convinience store.

I sighed and closed my eyes for a bit.

'That was... easy?'

I turned quickly towards Woozi.

"Oppa... come with me really quick... Before Chan comes back."

He looked at me confused, but followed my nonetheless.

I led him up the cliff I found. The view of the sunset is better up here.

"Jay... Why are we here?"

I sat down on the floor and pat the spot next to me.

"Just because. I feel calm up here."

He nodded and looked over to the horizon and the sunset.

"It looks pretty."

I looked at him and my heart beat quickened.

"That's why I like this spot."

He looked back at me.

I smiled. I looked at his hair and then to the sky.

'I was right... his hair matches the pink in the sunset...'

I slowly reached over and put my hands on his cheeks.

"What are you doing?"

I looked at his face and smiled.

"Your hair."

His brows furrowed in confusion.

"What about my hair? Is there something on it?"

I let out a soft laugh and shook my head.

"It matches the pink in the sunset. It's pretty."

He looks at me with an amused expression and laughs as well.

"To me... you look more amazing than this sunset."

I put my hands down and laughed out loud.

"Too cheesy! What was that oppa?!"

Jihoon gave a slight pout while his cheeks became dusted with a light pink that resembled his hair and the sunset before us.

"Anyways... thanks. For helping me have a good time here also..."

He turned to look at me.

"Also?"

I bit my lip and looked at him.

"I love you..."

I had barely mumbled it, but he seemed to have heard it.

He stood up and grabbed my hand to pull me up as well.

"Can we... try that kiss again? And this time, I promise, I'll make sure to treat you right. The way you deserve to be treated."

I gave him a small nod.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. Slowly he leaned closer and closer.

"I love you Jay."

He finished closing the gap between us and we kissed.

I was filled his happiness but at the same time worry. How would he feel when I was no longer by his side? Will he hate me when I suddenly dissappear? Should I tell him I'm going back? Should I tell him I'm getting married? All these questions flew around in my head.

'Don't think about that right now. Think about Woozi. Only him. Your last moments with him...'

I felt a tear roll down my cheek and Jihoon pulled away.

"Why are you crying?"

I shook my head and sniffled.

"I'm just really happy right now."

He smiled and kissed my forehead. Then placing his forehead on mine. He pulled me even closer than before and sighed.

"You're mine. All mine. I'm really happy too. I've been waiting to tell you this for a while actually. I didn't want to make you uncomfortable and rush things so I waited for you. Now though, you're mine and mine only. I love you."

I smiled and wiped away my tears.

"I love you more."

I wrapped my arms around his waist and snuggled onto his chest.

'I'm gonna miss you. I'm sorry...'

~:~ Dino POV ~:~

"Woah~ I can't believe they ditched me."

I was walking around the area close to where I last saw them. I was looking for them for about 20 minutes before I found them sitting on top of a small cliff.

'Isn't Jay lightheaded? Why would she climb that? Ugh, this girl...'

I began to go up the cliff and soon made it too the top.

"Ya! You guys... suck..."

Jihoon hyung had his arms wrapped around Jay's waist and their faces were only centimeters apart.

"I love you Jay."

My eyes widened.

He kissed her. And she kissed him.

I felt my heart sink and shatter.

My body felt heavy.

I couldn't breathe.

I just watched. I watched and saw my world fall apart.

'You knew this was gonna happen Chan. You knew they still loved each other. Why is this affecting you so much?'

They pulled away and smiled at each other.

'I wish... it was me...'

~:~ Jay POV ~:~

We met up with Dino at the bottom of the cliff.

He was annoyed we left without telling him. Right after the three of us began walking back to the hotel.

Everyone was packed and ready to go.

We quickly headed to the airport.

Right as we had begun boarding I called out to Jihoon.

"Hold on. I'll be right back I need to buy something really quick. I'll see you after the flight okay? I... I love you... a lot..."

Jihoon smiled while looking a bit confused.

"Yeah, I'll see you after the flight. I love you too."

He went inside and I walked away quickly tears rolling down my cheeks.

Soon I walked over to the departure gate of my flight.

["Ms. Jessica."]

I turned and saw one of my dad's workers.

["This way please. You're flight is about to depart."]

I sighed and nodded. I followed the man into the plane and sat down on my seat.

'First class... of course...'

I put my headphones on and listened to music until I fell asleep through the whole flight.

~:~ Woozi POV ~:~

We had been waiting for two hours.

Jay never came out from the arrival gates.

According to the flight attendants a person named "Jay" never even bought a ticket to Korea.

We called her phone several times only to get the same voicemail message every time.

After waiting for two extra hours our manager called us to head back to the dorm.

I sat on my bed confused and feeling empty.

'Where are you?'

I stayed in my room surrounded by my thoughts as everyone else was outside eating dinner.

"Jihoon. You should unpack at least. Everyone else has already."

I looked up to see Seungcheol poking his head in through an opening from the door.

I just nodded and pulled my luggage closer and began opening it up.

I began putting away my shirts and pants until I got to the bottom of the suitcase.

There was Jay's cellphone and a pile of note-pads from the hotel in a small transparent bag.

I reached for it quickly and looked through it.

I tried reading what she had written but it was all in English.

"This girl..."

I sighed and grabbed the phone. I turned it on and saw all the notifications come in.

I groaned in frustration seeing as the phone was no help to me.

'Joshua! Vernon!'

I quickly grabbed the note-pads and walked outside.

"Joshua! Vernon! Hurry! Come here! Jay left these in my bag. It's like some sort of diary? I can't understand it though. It's all written in English."

Joshua and Vernon both quickly stood up and each took half of the pile.

They began to read through it furrowing their brows in some moments, smiling in others.

Finally Vernon had gotten to the last note-pad.

"She's in love with Jihoon hyung?"

Everyone looked at me and I gulped.

"We can talk about that later. Does it say where she went? Where she might be? Anything like that?"

We all focused on Dino who looked slightly annoyed but worried.

They both shook their heads.

"It does say her father contacted her a few times though."

Joshua seperated the ones where it was mentioned her dad contacting her.

"In this one it says her friends called her..."

Vernon held up one note-pad and placed it on the table.

"Also, all these entries... are signed with the name "Jessica" not Jay..."

I looked at Joshua confused and took a nota-pad into my hands.

He was right.

They were all signed Jessica.

'But why...'

I began to think on why she would have given us a different name or why she signed with the name Jessica until I began to think about other things.

"If her friends called her then the number must be saved in her phone! We can call her friends to find out if they know anything about where she is!"

They all looked at me confused.

"Wait, do you have her phone?"

I nodded and ran back into the room, grabbed the phone, and headed outside again.

"It was turned off and inside the bag with the note-pads."

Dino walked over to me.

"Check the contacts list, hurry."

I unlocked the phone and quickly searched for the contacts icon. After finding it and clicking on it I searched through the list.

"Alex... and Alice? Do you think those two are her friends?"

Vernon looked over my shoulder.

"Well everybody else saved into her phone is us, our manager, dad, and step mom..."

We looked at the time. It was almost 11 pm meaning it would be around 9 am over there.

"Maybe we can call now?"

I looked at Vernon and Joshua seeing as they would be the ones speaking.

"Let's wait another hour. We don't want to wake them up."

I nodded and sighed. I sat down on a chair and put my hands through my hair.

'Jay... Jessica... where are you?'
