Epilogue: Legacy

    The Galactic Civil War went on for years after the battle of Yavin and destruction of the Death Star. Although a second Death Star was commissioned, the plans were stolen by brave Bothans and not by a Captain Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso. That Star destroyer was destroyed with the help of that duo, and in the end the Rebel Alliance won the war and established a new republic.

Captain Cassian Andor and his wife Jyn Erso, went on to serve the rebellion for many years until the war's end. Serving alongside Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa for multiple missions, they became household names of those loyal to the rebellion. They played pivotal roles in the victory of the last battle between the empire and the rebellion. The battle of Jakku. They practically vanished after that, some say they lived their days out on on an isolated farm on La-muh. Others say they continued on secret missions to arrest and capture the scattered imperials that had been left over from the war. There were multiple imprisoned imperials who swore and cursed the name of Andor. Yet no one could be sure or certain of what became of them or where they went. They are only known to live on as legends, and heroes of the rebellion and restoration of freedom to the galaxy.     There was, however, a tragic tale about them, that started to circulate about the time the new republic began to thrive. It was that they were hunted down by an assassin and killed. Them being Captain Andor and his wife, along with their unborn child. But the reports were never confirmed nor proven false. Most didn't believe the whispers, or the rumors. They only went on with their lives, rebuilding what was lost during the war.

The ex-cadet that had gone by the name Blaze, later went by his real name, with a title in front of it. Sarget Kes Dameron of the Rebellion went on to serve it and meet a one Lieutenant Shara Bey, with whom he married and had a son. They named him Poe, and he later served the Rebel Alliance's legacy of sorts, the Resistance. Which was a small task force, that's purpose was to oppose what grew out of a remanent of the empire in secret, the First Order.
