Chapter 20: Letting Loose
08:05, 4 January 2021"I'm training right now," Naruto said with a small wipe of sweat from his brow. "Shadow Clones do pack a punch to the chakra reserves, but at least my reserves will grow. Right?" He asked as he tilted his head to the side for a second.
"Right," Tsunade finished in a dry tone. "I thought you're supposed to be twenty-something." Naruto shrugged with a small smirk.
"When the Sage of Six Paths gives you almost unlimited chakra as well as a quick way to learning things you don't really notice your reserves grow as big as they get, do ya?" He said sarcastically. Tsunade rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, the Sage of Six Paths. That guy," She mocked.
"Anyway," Naruto said as he sat down next to Jiraiya, who had been watching the entire ordeal with a small smile. "It seems we need a plan to take down Orochimaru, and lucky for us, this has happened before. So here's how it's going to go. . ."
Naruto stood in the field next to Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Shizune, across them from several yards away stood Orochimaru with his arms dangling to the side and looking a dark grey and his apprentice, Kabuto.
"Oh wow," Naruto said, clapping his hands with a small smirk. "What do we have here? We never thought we would see you guys here, especially you Kabuto. I thought you were dead. Oh well, but it's almost like an ambush," Naruto closed a single eye and threw his arms in the air dramatically. "But what you don't know, is that it was totally expected and that you aren't the ambushers," Naruto said with a wide grin before the four blew up in a cloud of smoke.
Orochimaru's eyes widened. "Where-" He began but stopped as a fist erupted from the ground and uppercut him in the air, that fist belonging to Tsunade as her honey brown eyes glared furiously at the Snake Sannin.
Kabuto reacted quickly and went to slice into Tsunade with his chakra scalpels, only to stop as Jiraiya came from behind them and created a boiling mud bog, with Kabuto sinking in up to his neck.
Orochimaru landed on the ground, his jaw bent awkwardly to the left. He placed his hand on the jaw and snapped it forward back in place and smirked. "Your punches have grown weaker, Tsunade. I thought they would at least leave a sting."
"I'll get up to speed real soon," Tsunade snarled, cracking her knuckles. "How about you be my punching bag?"
"As much as I would like to," Orochimaru shouted as jumped up. "I believe we have much, larger, things to be afraid of." As he descended, Kabuto shouted.
"Summoning Jutsu!" Orochimaru landed softly on Manda's large head next to Kabuto, his smirk growing as Jiraiya cursed, having to back away from the gigantic snake in threats of being crushed.
"Orochimaru," Manda slithered out. "Where are my sacrifices?" Orochimaru gave a mock sad smile.
"I apologize, Manda-sama, but I do not have them with me. However if you help me this time, I will double your sacrifices the next time I summon you." Manda hissed lightly before humming in agreement.
"Very well, but if you summon me without sacrifices, I will eat you instead."
"Oh wow," Naruto said, making himself known. "A big ass snake." He remembered Sasuke riding along those things, and had to battle much larger things than Manda with Madara's animal summoning with the Rinnegan. "Don't worry guys, don't pull out Gamabunta or that Slug lady granny has," Tsunade glared at Naruto, but held her tongue.
Naruto pulled out a sword. "I've dealt with hundreds of foes larger than you, a snake does not scare me." Manda hissed angrily.
"You dare mock me, boy? I'll eat you first!" Naruto pulled out his sword, holding it loosely to his side as it began glowing with red chakra.
"I very much doubt that," He closed his eyes and a thin layer of Kurama's red chakra encased him. He reopened his eyes to reveal that his sky blue had changed to a vermillion red with black slits going vertically down his eyes. He swiped the air once, a smirk donning his face.
A cruel smirk.
"Because you're already dead." Orochimaru was about to say something but suddenly felt Manda vibrate.
"Wha-" Manda got out before the air around him began glowing with red swipes in the air, horizontal lines littering in front of him. Suddenly, his body began getting cut in half, his entire face cutting into dozens of pieces.
Orochimaru and Kabuto jumped just in time as Manda fell into several pieces, the King of the Snakes dead. Naruto tilted his head to the right, a grin spreading across his face as blood rained down on his blond hair, covering it in dark red, his Kurama-enhanced eyes glowing slightly and his canines sharpened.
"Oops, too much?" He whispered.
"You'll pay for that boy," Orochimaru hissed.
"You have some nerve," Kabuto said between gritted teeth. "How dare you insult Orochimaru-sama like that?" Jiraiya and Tsunade were about to step forward but stopped when Naruto held out his free hand.
"No," His voice was high-pitched and slightly cracked. "He's mine." Orochimaru threw up his head and laughed.
"You got lucky at the Chunin Exams Kyuubi child!" Orochimaru laughed before his face twisted into one of rage. "But you also did irreparable damage to my body, so I guess I'll kill you in a more painful way than you escaped from me."
Naruto grinned, the blood from atop his head pooling over, sliding down his forehead and to his nose, splitting and going down both sides. "You aren't going to live this time," He bent forward, his hand tightening around his sword. "You took Sasuke away from me! And hurt my friends! You killed the old man not once but twice! I'll kill you because when I dance over your corpse," He looked up, his Kurama-enhanced eyes bloodshot and bloodthirsty.
"It'll be with a smile on my face!" He rushed forward, like lightning he bolted towards Orochimaru, leaping in the air as his glowing sword slammed down in the air, a blade of chakra coming out of his sword and heading towards Orochimaru.
Orochimaru jumped back, the chakra blade causing the dirt to explode into the air. Orochimaru's head shot up as Naruto emerged from the dirt, his eyes shadowed by his hair but the smile on his face wide as ever.
He struck down with his sword before spinning slightly, fire coming from his feet before he leapt into the air, pushing his right leg forward for momentum as the fire on the ground sprouted upwards onto his sword and he planted his right foot on the ground and swung his sword down with all his might, the fire forming a five-foot-wide and a twenty-foot-high blade of flames towards the Sannin.
Orochimaru's eyes widened as he slammed his hand into the ground, hoping to create a mud wall to shield him from the incoming inferno. He felt the heat wash over him, his mud wall barely being able to hold before a blade cut straight through the wall and into his throat.
"Grrgh," He sounded out as the fire died down and his mud wall crumbled to the ground, revealing a smirking Naruto in front of him.
"Naruto," Jiraiya called out. "Don't kill him. He has information we could use!" Naruto looked as Orochimaru clutched at his throat, blood spilling out.
"Orochimaru-sama!" Kabuto screamed out, chakra scalpels out as he rushed Naruto. "You'll die for this!" Naruto didn't hesitate, he ducked, twisted his feet slightly, and struck his blade out into the air, it slicing straight through Kabuto's neck, separating his head and torso.
"K-Kabuto," Orochimaru whispered in disdain as he saw his apprentice fall to the ground, dead. Naruto looked back at Orochimaru and slowly walked to him.
"Naruto!" Tsunade cried out. "Don't do it." Naruto sneered.
"He'll just escape, he always does." He cried out. "The only good thing he ever did was reanimate the first four Hokage! That's it! Other than that he's been worthless and scum!"
"Naruto," Tsunade whispered as she gently approached the blond. "You need to calm down. Orochimaru isn't going anywhere in his condition. We got him, just rest." Naruto's face curled upward before the red chakra on his sword vanished.
"Fine." He whispered. He turned around and began walking away. "But if he makes one move, tries one more time to do something shady, I'll end him no matter what anyone else says." Tsunade nodded.
"Good." She turned to Orochimaru. "Seems you got lucky. Now it's time for you to answers some questions my old teammate, if you don't we'll feed you to the brat." Orochimaru shook his head.
"What do you want to know?" He spit out weakly. Tsunade smirked.
"What do you know about the Akatsuki?"
And done. How was it? Good? Bad? Tell me!
Anyway ye
Til next time my lil demons!
