Chapter 7

Ignore the mistakes ♡

I walked down  the hallway trying to figure out where  was my Bestfriend at. I turned the corner where Daejah locker was located.

I was hit with yelling. Everyone was yelling, and was in a big circle. I'm surprised security wasn't here yet.

" Ariana, your Daejah in there, with your brother. " Some girl said.

" What the fuck is they doing? " I asked myself, moving through the crowd. " 'cuse me y'all. " I said.

Finally making it through, I saw my brother, August, Davontae,  and Daejah all surround.

" Why you worried nigga!? Don't you got a girl?" Reese yelled.

" That ain't nun' of yo' business ."

" Yeah, okay."

" Who you talking to? Not me nigga." August looked beside him.

" I thought I was talking to the shitty ass NewOrleans nigga, that's in front of me."

In swift motion, August punched  him in his jaw. Then all hell broke lose, right before my eyes.

I ran up to Reese then held him back and told jayden to help me because,  I'm not that strong  to hold back my older brother.

Then I told Daejah and Davontae to hold off August. " Man get the fuck off me!"  Reese yanked his arm, trying  to get out of jayden and my grip.

" Reese you and August need to calm down it ain't even that serious." 

" Aint nobody finna calm down this nigga kissed Daejah?" August yelled, getting more mad.

"Wait what ?" I said suprisely, letting go off Reese by accident.

" Ariana why you let go?" Jayden said as he tried to hold back Reese.

When Reese got out of jayden grip, he  ran towards August about to throw punches but the security got to them first and everything else was a big blur after that.

Reese.P.O.V.

I don't know what the wrong  with August . That nigga just mad cause I kissed Daejah .

" So why are you guys in here today ?" The principal asked while sitting down and taking a sip out of his coffee. 

" Well first off this nigga Reese wanna kiss Daejah  in the hallway." August mumbled, but everyone could hear  him.

" August no cursing in my office nor school. " Mr. Harvey glared at him.

" Ight bruh."August mumbled.

" Mr.William you got anything to say about this?"

" Yeah  um.... I wanted to feel up on Daejah  in the hallway and I like said I wanted to do some and she said go ahead and I didn't think  she knew what I was gonna do, but when I did kiss her, she returned the kiss." I smirked and licked my lips.

I saw August roll his eyes and I know this nigga big mad

" So what it seem like is that Mr.Alsina probably have some relations with Ms. Robinson." Mr.Harvey eyed Daejah  and August.

" Is that true Mr.Alsina?"

" I wanna say no but, I can't lie to ma'self .... I do have feelin's fo' Daejah." He admitted.

When August said that I wanted to punch the hell out of August.  I looked over at daejah, she just sat there looking down playing with her nails.

" Ok what I wanted to talk about was no more kissing in the hall's and no more fighting or I'll have to suspend you guys."

Mr.Jones was talking about suspending us, but soon as he said that August tensed up. I knew he got suspended a couple times and he was trying not to get suspended again.

" So what I'm not gonna do is suspend y'all, but I'll give you all a detention today."  He  said while grabbing the paper. " But remember if y'all fight on school grounds you either getting a in school or suspended it depends but we'll see."

Reese and Aug and I walked out of the office and it was the end of the day. I'm was tired and about ready to go home.

I grabbed my bag and my phone from my locker. With no surprise I received  missed calls and text messages  from Ariana. 

                                                                         - Everything's Ok , was just finna get suspend but got a detention instead I'll talk to you later when I get out .

I put my phone and the rest of my stuff on a chair beside me and sat down, after checking in. This detention lasted and hour and 30 mins. It was bout to  be boring as hell.

I saw Aug' walk in, sign in then he sat right next to me.  " Was' poppin' ma'?"

" Hey August.... and about to do my homework."

" Why won't ya' call meh daddy Daejah, dats gon' be ma' name In bed baybeh." He smirked.

" We'll see daddy." I teased him, smirking.

" Mhm." He groaned " Just like dat."

I playfully rolled my eyes and got out my calculus  homework. 2 minutes later Reese walk over to the table and sat across from me .

" Hey baby girl." Reese said while sitting down.

" Hey Reese." I waved then started to do my homework again.

Some minutes later,  August tapped my shoulder. " Yes Aug?"

"I need help wit' 'dis problem girl."

" Okay, I'll help you." August was good at math I don't know why he was asking me for help.

After helping him with his homework Reese needed help with his English. I swear these nigga acting like they special.

When we all got done I saw August pull out his notebook then  flipped to a page labeled " Downtown."

I peeped over, being nosy as usual.

" Word got around that a nigga got shotHeard a nigga drew down and he bucked so his ass got poppedWe was on my block trying to move these rocksTrying to stack this cash on the low, gotta duck these copsWe was off third and polock chilling in the back of the tracksNiggas got packs, trying to get them racks ".

Aug notice I was looking then he closed it and put it inside his book bag. 

" August them where some really good lyrics "

" Thanks ma'." He smiled.

" Can I see some more?"

" Nah it was kinda private..." 

" Oh." I said kinda bummed.

* Hour later *

It was time to leave so I put my stuff in my bag and headed out the class. 

" Hold up Daejah!" Reese said while running up to me .

" Yes Reese?" I turned around, so I can face him.

" Are you still up for our date Friday?"

" Of course." I smiled.

" Ight good." He sighed then started smiling.

" I'll text you later, okay?"

" Ight imma start heading out this way. Bye mama."  He walked off out of the building.

" Bye."
