Chapter 22

Ink P.O.V.

Its been awhile of silence, everyone had created a protective formation around me. Nightmare, killer, and Dust were in front, whilst Horror and Cross were behind us, and Dream, Blue and Error walked beside me.

I didn't say anything, but it made me feel kinda uncomfortable, with everyone surrounding me. The quiet eerie, it was awhile of walking til the silence was broken.

"we should stop, we've been wandering around forever in this big arse building" Killer spoke up. Everyone took a moment to glance at each other before nodding.

We decided to stop in a random room, everyone was relaxing, and chatting. Whilst in the inside we were all scared and anxious.

"Dusty? You've been kinda acting strange, whats wrong?" Blue asked his lover, this managed to catch everyone's attention. Dust stared at the floor "I don't know, I feel like we're being watched, or just walking right into a trap."

Everyone stared at dust. All of a sudden, we saw Horror's axe fly across the room. It hit a vent in the top left corner of the room. Everyone jumped slightly at the sudden action, we all looked at Horror behind us.

He had a serious look on his face. His single eye narrowed, and sharp teeth clenched. "What the heck Horr-" Nightmare yelled, but cut off as a bubbly, slimly noise was heard. Black ooze slipped out of the vent.

Every leaped to their feet, backing up, as the black ooze slowly formed into Gaster. 'He's been watching us the entire time!' I thought. I quickly shuddered at the thought.

Horror raced to the vent, grasping his axe "RUN!" The axe wielding skeleton yelled while he stayed, fending off Gaster. The rest of us wasted no time, Error quickly picked me up, as we sprinted down the halls.

I glanced over Error's shoulders. I heard a shriek, followed by a cracking noise. It was silent in the room that Gaster had crawled out of till the sound of something clanging against the ground which most likely was Horror's axe echoed.

Gaster immediately came racing out of the room. 'Holy shit! Did he just kill Horror!?' I stared at him, he was gaining up on us fairly quickly. "Dream!! Shoot the gun!" I desperately yelled to my friend.

Dream quickly halted, as the rest of us escaped. He aimed at Gaster and pressed the trigger as a bright glowing beam of light shot out. Gaster dashed to the side, entirely dodging the blast.

Dream shakily held the gun, as the tried again. Gaster dodged once again with ease. Fear began to build up inside of me, as Gaster began getting closer, and closer to dream. "Dream run!!" I shouted.

Dream did not budge, he was paralyzed with fear. All of a sudden Killer halted, dashing back, sprinting as fast as he could towards his lover "Dream!!" Killer screamed.

Killer leapt forwards, protectively holding Dream in his arms. He took gun from Dream's hands, aiming at Gaster, but the melting being swiftly knocked the weapon out of his hands, it skidded a few feet away from them. We all had halted.

I heard the two lovers scream, as Gaster stretched over them, as they both got absorbed into his enormous melting body, Gaster slowly began to grow bigger after he absorbed the two. "DREAM! NO!" both Me and Blue yelled desperately

"DREAM!! KILLER!!" Nightmare, screeched, as his brother got absorbed into that creature and his most trusted serve- I, uh, mean friend! :D

Black goop started to emit from the top of his skull, it leaked, as covered his body quickly, four tentacles emerging from his back.

The god of Nightmares Naruto ran towards Gaster, and thus te epik battle of goop vs goop began. This gave us time to quickly rest up, since we've been running for awhile.

Nightmare kept on trying grab the weapon, but Gaster wouldn't let him. Cross closed his eyes, hiding his face in his scarf as Nightmare was slammed against the wall with a sickening crack.

Nightmare fell to the ground, struggling to get up. Cross instantly got up pulling out his giant knife, and stabbing Gaster. A deathly screech emitted from him. "Wait! Cross! You're hurting them." I shouted, referring to our friends who are inside of him and might still be alive.

Cross hesitated, before dropping his knife, holding Nightmare close to his chest, the goop started to melt away from Nightmare.

Nightmare used one of his tentacles, to quickly grabbed to gun from Gaster and shooting it in his side, Gaster let out a bloody scream, I cringed at the sight as a large goopy, bubbly lump fell out of his side.

The goop started to melt off of the lump to reveal Dream. He let out a gasping breath. Slowly looking at his brother "Nightmare...?" He weakly asked. Nightmare picked him up with his tentacles which were slowly melting away.

He shoved the gun in Dream's hands. basically yeeting the god of positivity towards us "WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" Dream screeched. Blue was quick to catch dream like he was a football.

We all stared wide eyed at Nightmare and Cross "run.." Nightmare whispered out while he held his lover close as he and Cross were merged into Gaster gross, slimy body.

"Nightm- wahhhh!" Dream began but was cut off as we all broke into a sprint.

Error P.O.V.

I held Ink close to my chest as we all sprinted down the halls 'shit! Not Nightmare and Cross! And i don't know if Gaster killed Horror or if he's in there' I thought I glanced over at Dream and Blue

"The gun is out of ammo!" Dream yelled "shit!" Replied Dust. "I think we should split up and meet through the vents! Its risky but it might work!" Blue suggested.

We all glanced at each other before nodding. Once we reached a point to were the hallway split, Dust and blue went left as Me, Ink and Dream who decided to come with us went right. Gaster surprisingly went after Blue and Dust instead of us.

"Hope those two will be alright" dream worriedly said as he glanced back at were they went. "They'll be fine, Dust is pretty strong, and Blue seems capable of defending himself" I reassured the worried god.

We turned the cornering, finding a vent. I gently put Ink down as I shot my strings towards the vent, latching on. Dream and ink grabbed onto the sides of my strings pulling. After a few seconds the vent flew off. Dream and Ink went through first.

I checked the halls, before crawling through myself, closing the vent behind me...

Dust P.O.V.

My breathing picked up, Gaster was gaining on us. I glanced behind me at Blue who was slowing down. I quickly picked him up, he let out a little squeak as I did.

I raced down the hall. Blue who was in my arms, was firing attacks at Gaster in an attempt to slow him down. I was a bit slower, due to holding Blue, but I couldn't bare to watch him get taken by Gaster.

Gaster was a bit farther behind us now thanks to Blue. I glanced at his face. Clear regret was upon it, probably cause he knew in order to slow Gaster down with his attacks, he had to hurt our friends who are inside of him.

"Dust! Look! There's a vent up in that corner!"  Blue loudly shouted, pointing down a hall which led to a dead end. I quickly nodded, swiftly turning down the hall that the small skeleton pointed towards.

I ran incredibly quick. Skidding to a halt once we reached the end of it. The vent was in the right top corner I summoned a series of bone attacks, flinging them at the vent. I gave my boyfriend a boost as he began to pull at the vent.

The loud goopy noises of Gaster came closer by the seconds that passed by. "Blue, not to cause you stress but try to pull harder!" I warned him. Worry lacing my tone. "I'm trying!" Blue instantly replied, he was clearly struggling.

I began to hear Gaster nearing way closer. "Blue! Let go." I shouted. He nodded as I put him down gently. I leapt up grabbing onto the vent.

Pulling as hard as I can. I felt blue latch onto my waist helping me. Within a few seconds the vent came off. "Yes! Now hurry! I'll give you a boost!" Blue smiled happily "OK!"

I cupped my hands together gesturing him forwards. Blue carefully and firmly stepped onto my hold. I gently boosted him up. I heard weird gurgling noises, I whipped my head towards to hall, and Gaster stood right at the end.

As soon as Gaster moved I shoved Blue up into the vent "whoa!" He screeched in surprise. I glanced at Gaster before looking up at blue, wide eyed. "Dust! Take my hand!" He desperately shouted as he reached his gloved hand down towards me.

I wasted no time gripping onto him. Just as he started pulling me up Gaster latched onto my legs, trying to pull me down. Blue had clear fear in his eyes. I felt his fingers tighten their grip as he tried his best to not let go of me.

"Blue! Let go! Or you're Gunna get pulled in too!" I shouted, my arm's starting to hurt 'shit! Their both gunna rip me in half at dis rate!'

"No! I'm not letting go! It's my turn to protect you now Dust!" Blue shouted through blue tinted tears gathering at the edges of his eyes. All of a sudden. I heard Gaster screech out in pain, he let go of my legs "waaaaah!" I screamed as I basically went flying in the vent, clashing against Blue.

"Owww.." I whined "oh, Hey" I smirked, I was in an awkward position above blue who was trapped underneath me. He immediately flushed a bright blue "get off me you doof!" He chuckled. \\Yeah, save that for later ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) \\

I gently laughed getting off of him, getting in a sitting position. Realisation struck me, I instantly crawled to the vent entrance, Looking bellow to see Horror basically cat fighting Gaster. I gasped "Horror! Quick! Take my hand!"

I screamed reaching my hand down, I felt Blue grab onto my legs, ready to help me pull Horror up. Horror hissed, scratching Gaster across the face before swinging his axe into his body, a screech emitted from him.

Within an quick action that was so quick I couldn't tell if it actually happened, Horror dug his hands into Gaster's goopy body, grabbing ahold of something, pulling it out with all his force.

The goop instantly began to melt off of the figure to reveal Cross. Cross began breathing heavily like he had been holding his breath. Horror glanced at me, hopping over Gaster, holding cross who was out cold. The cannibalistic skeleton grasped my hands.

I began to pull, Blue tugging at my legs. Within a moment we both pulled Horror and Cross into the vent with us. "Horror! You're alive!" I screeched with joy. I quickly examined Horror.

The entire right side of his body was covered in hairline fractures. "Yeah I am dummy! lil shit almost killed me, but..... I LIIIIVE!" Horror bloodily screeched. "Ow meh nonexistent eeears!" I whined.

"U-um dust? Horror? Don't you think we should run?" Blue shyly spoke. "Oh ya! :3 prepare you're best screams everybody!" I spoke in a child-like voice. We all stood up, Me, Horror and Blue cleared our throats, before screaming bloody murder, racing down the vents...

1951 words - oh boy! Quite the chapter! Also don't question how big that place is- I also am curious, what did sci put in those hot dogs?? I need that kind of energy to run that much!! QAQ last chapter you may have seen the comments of me saying I was gunna kill someone... My target was Horror... Yes, I was going to kill you're comedic relief... But! We are approaching maybe the last or two chapters, also I was wondering, would you be interested if I started an art book? Alsox2 undertale's birthday is today ( its 12:44 am owo ) and I have no idea what in gunna draw -u-" ......Sansy got into smash... Congrats buddy! I knew you could do it!! :D
