Chapter 16

P.O.V Alice

It is December 31th, I just woke up and now I'm sitting in my bed, deciding if I should go back to sleep or get up and eat my breakfast, Ivar slept in his house last night, he said he would call me when he wakes to tell me where we're going, I take my phone of the charger and look at the time , seeing that is still 7 in the morning , so I lay back, hugging the other pillow and going back to sleep

I wake up what it feels like 2 hours later, feeling arms around me, I open my eyes and look back to see who it was, seeing Ivarsen behind me, looking at me

"Did I wake you up?" he asked

"No" I said, turning to look at him, he put his hand on my face and caressed my cheek

"I have something to tell you, but you won't like it" Ivar told me, and I raised an eyebrow

"Go on, tell me" I say

"You see, this wasn't my idea, and you know I love you and I would do anything for you, but you know my mom and even though I'm 25 she can still beat my ass so I'll obey her, and new year's party will be at the Pithom" he said with a weird smile on his face

"Oh god, how long will we have to stay there?" I ask

"The yacht is leaving at 11 PM, will be back on shore at 5 AM max, I think" he says, I turned my back to him and shoved my face on the pillow

"Why did I had to fall in love with a rich boy, with his rich family, rich people have boats, I hate boats, fuuuuuck" I screamed, muffled by the pillow and he was laughing by my side

"So, this means you're coming with me?" he asks, and I raise my head to look at him, and I nod, he does a happy dance and hugs me, I laugh and hung him back

"I'm hungry, let's eat something" I say, letting go of him and getting of the bed, I'm only wearing a hoodie that I stole from him

"I found my hoodie" he said getting of the bed as well

"What hoodie, this one is mine" I showed him my tongue and ran out of the room, he came running after me, catching me in the living room and throwing me over his shoulder

"NOT FAIR" I say slapping his ass and he laughed, slapping mine.

He put me down when we got into the kitchen, and I decided that I would do avocado toasts with bacon for me

"Do you want avocado toasts?" I said getting everything that I needed

"I already ate, thank you" he said, sitting on a stool and observing me make my food, I put the plate in front of me and started eating , we talked about how things were at his company and also about how things were at the restaurant , the holidays for the restaurant were always full of orders to deliver , from full meals to only desserts, so we only open on the 24th to make and deliver those orders and close at 5 PM so everyone could enjoy the holiday and open on the 26th , new year isn't different , open on 31th, closes at 5 PM then open again on the 2th

"Speaking of food, what do I need to bring?" I asked, washing the dishes

"Nothing, we ordered from the restaurant" Ivar said, and I nodded

"So, what are we going to do all day?" I asked, turning to look at him

"Monopoly?" he asked, and I nodded

P.O.V Ivarsen

Monopoly is our favorite game, she always wins, but today will be different, I guess. We're in the living room, one in each side off the coffee table, me being the dog and she's being the cat, I was the bank this time, after giving separating the money for me and for her, we played rock, paper, scissor to see who would go first, and for some miracle, I won.

It started well, I was buying some properties, she was buying some as well, at this point of the game, most of the board was already bought, by her , cause for some bloody reason I never stop on mine so she won the money to buy more, and I'm almost having the same destiny as always , having to sell my things to pay what I owe, but , she starts to stop on my property and to only take bad luck cards.

Her money is starting to end, and I start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Her next move was to start selling her properties to the bank, keeping only the ones that gave more money to her. I was laughing and she gave me a death look

"It's getting a bit hot in here, isn't it?" she said taking her hoodie off, sitting naked, no underwear, nothing, in front of me "Go on, is your turn"

"That's cheating" I said and rolled the dice, stopping in the checkpoint and getting my ¥200

"I'm not cheating, I was just sweating" she said rolling the dice and stopping in the same place as me, she stood her hand, and I gave ¥200 for her as well

The game continued, she was still naked, I was trying not to stare to her chest, but then, she received the go to jail card, and we play a bit different, we let the person that goes to jail one round there , before start to try rolling the dice, so I have to play twice , giving me vantage , but being the naughty thing that she is, I saw her hand going down her body , and small whimpers coming out of her.

I stopped to watch what she was doing, and she was looking at me

"I think the came is over" she said, and I nodded, getting up and putting her on the couch, kissing her

We're laid in the couch, Alice is napping on my chest and I'm on my phone when it starts ringing, it's my mom

"Hi mom" I say, covering Alice's ears so I won't wake her up

"Hey honey, are you coming to have lunch with us?"

"Alice is napping but as soon as she wakes up, we go, is the food ready? Aren't we bothering you?" I ask

"You never bother baby, your dad just started making the lasagna so, you guys have time" my mom said

"See you later, mom" I say "Love you"

"I love you too darling, bye" she says hanging up, I caressed Ali's head, she'll wake up soon, so I don't bother about waking her, I stay on twitter for some minutes when Alice moves, and I look at her and smiled

"Hi Ali" I say, and she smiles at me

"Hey Ivar" she says sitting up

"My mom called, she invited us for lunch" I told her, and she smiled

"I'm going to get ready" she said and ran to her room I chuckled and went to get ready as well and in 30 minutes we're already in front of my house, I opened the door, and we got in

"We're here" I yelled, and footsteps can be heard when my mom appears "My babies" says my mom, hugging me then hugging Alice

"Are you hungry? The food is ready" she says, wrapping her arm around Alice's and we went to the dinner room, where my siblings and my dad already were sitting, my mom goes back to her seat by my dad's side, and I sit by Octavia's side and Alice sits by mine.

We ate in peace and then we sat in the living room to watch Disney movies till we had to get ready, Alice and Octavia singing along every song, my mom sleeping on my dad's lap and my brothers on their phone

It was 7 PM when me and Alice got at her house, she was happy, I put my bag on her room and told her to pack a small one for her, I was watching her when I reached for my bag and took a package out of it

"I bought you something" I said to her

"What is it?" she asked, turning to look at me, her eyes going for the box in my hands

"Remember when you said that you wanted pink hair?" I said smiling

"You bought me pink hair dye?" she asked, her eyes glowing with joy, and I nodded, standing the box in her direction, she came on my direction jumping and giggling, taking the box and putting at my side and jumping on my lap

"Thank you, thank you, thank you" she said kissing my face

"Anything for you, baby" I said, and she smiled "Do you want to dye it now? We have plenty of time" I said, and she nodded

"I'll get my things" she says singing the last part, kissing my lips, and running to the bathroom, getting her brush, a small bowl, and some plastic cloves, them coming back to get the pink dye, and the chair that was in her room, coming back again to take her phone and me

"PINK HAIR, LET'S GO!!!!" she said, kissing me again and sitting on the chair

"How do you want it?" I ask her

"The under part of my hair, and I'm thinking about doing the front two pieces, what do you think?" she asks me, and I try to imagine how it would be, it would be hot as fuck

"It would look hot" I say, and she smiles at me

"Let's do it then" she says and puts on some music. I hear her singing while sectioning her hair and brushing it, while I do it, she transfers an amount of hair dye to the small bowl. I started putting the dye in her hair, the process off putting the dye on her hair only took me ten minutes, I put the hair inside the cloves, so it didn't stain the rest of her hair and the front two pieces with hair pins

"Are you happy?" I asked her

"Yes, thank you babe" she says, taking her phone and putting 25 minutes on the timer and then we went to the private cinema on her house, we're watching She-ra: princess of power, we're still in the first season and Alice loves it, it's nice, at least is not a musical.

The timer goes off and I pause the episode and Alice goes to the bathroom to take a shower, to wash it of the dye and also start getting ready for the new year's party, I turn the screen off and close the room, going to the kitchen to get some chips , taking to the room, seeing that she still didn't finish her shower I lay on her bed and start eating, she leaves the bathroom wrapped around a towel , with a towel on her head to dry her hair

"My turn" I say getting off her bed, giving her the bowl with chips, a kiss in her cheek and closing the bathroom door behind me, I hear her laughing and start stripping

P.O.V. Alice

My hair looks so good, I take the hair dryer and start drying my hair, after it is dry, I get the hair straightener. After my hair is done, I start doing my makeup when Ivar comes out of the bathroom butt naked, I looked at him through the mirror

"Nice ass" I say to him, while doing my liner and he twerked, I started laughing and he laughed as well, he put on his boxers and black suit pants "Looking hot, babe" I say and he comes behind my back, pulling my hair to the side and leaning to leave a kiss on my neck

"Please tell me you won't pull 'no undies' this time again" he asks me, his hand around my neck, keeping me looking into the mirror, his eyes focusing on mine through the mirror

"Open my wardrobe and you'll find out" I said arching an eyebrow , he tightened his grip making me gasp and went to do what I told him to, I like to leave an open space for the clothes I would wear in case of an event or going out, so it was easy for him to find out that I would be using the same dress I wore on Christmas, but white

"I think we'll spend the night fucking" he said, and I laughed

"Why go over there to fuck if we can fuck right here?" I ask crossing my legs, fall for my trick, please fall for it, he takes a deep breath and covers his face with his hands growling (???)

"I see what you're trying here, no, you said you would go so we're going" Ivar said coming near me, kneeling in front of me "I know you don't do boats, now you hate more than ever, but I'll promise you, nothing will happen to you" he said, laying his head on my legs, I caress his head, playing with his hair

"Please, don't leave my side" I say laying my head on top of his

"I won't leave your side" he says

We stay in that position for some time, my arms around his neck and his hands running up and down my legs, when my phone starts ringing, scaring the both of us, I take it, answering

"Ali, are you all ready? Can you and Ivar come to get me and Gun?" I hear Fane saying

"Hey Fane" I said, Ivarsen got up to finish getting ready, we lost track of time "No, we're not ready yet, but sure, we can get you, in 30 minutes max we'll be there" I say do him, finishing my liner and setting my face with powder

"No worries, text when you're at the door" he says hanging up, I put my phone down and finish doing my makeup and I let my towel fall at my feet and I get up to get my dress, feeling Ivarsen's eyes on my body

"Nice ass" he says, and I just blow him a kiss, putting my dress on and getting my silver high heels. I turn to look at him and his is wearing a white shirt with a silver tie to match my shoes, I got to him and wrap my arms around his neck, kissing his lips, his hands going around my waist

"I love you" I say to him

"I love you more"

I smile at him, and we kiss again

"Ready to go?" I ask him and he nods, letting me go only for a moment to grab our bags and we leave the house, while he is locking the front door, I walk to his car, open and sit in the driver seat, he gets in and puts the bags on the back seat. we drive to his house and stop by the door

"Tell Fane we're here, please" I say to him, and he text his brother, while we wait his hand rests on my leg, a couple of minutes later we see them leaving the house and the back door opens, Fane and Gunnar getting in

"Hey" me and Ivar say

"Hey"

"How late are we?" I ask

"We're the last ones" Fane says

"Mom and dad went early with our uncles" Gun said "And Dag and Tavi went with Madden and Jet"

"Fuck" I mumble and start the car, heading to the docks

P.O.V Narrator

It was 11:45 PM, the yacht was already a few miles away from shore, everyone was having dinner, talking, and having fun and the closer it got to midnight, the energy around them grew warmer and cozy, screaming family vibes.

Alice was feeling super comfortable, she was having the time of her life, even if she was back at the yacht and the bad memories surrounded her mind, she was doing her best to control the nerves and Ivar was doing as he promised, never leaving her side, so it wasn't that bad.

"5 MINUTES TILL MIDNIGHT EVERYONE" Rika screamed, and they moved to the front of the yacht, couples hugging each other, brothers and cousins chatting, excited about the fireworks that the horsemen organized on the rooftop of the boat.

"1 MINUTE" Octavia said

Maybe everything was about to change, you never know what might happen when a new year comes, maybe it stays all the same and maybe your world might turn upside down, and for Alice and her new family, changes were on the schedule.

"10..."

Everyone screamed

"9..."

"8..."

Alice turned to look to Ivarsen's face and mouthed to him "I love you"

"7..."

Ivarsen grabbed Alice's face and glued their foreheads "I love you more"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR"

Alice and Ivarsen shared a passionate kiss, that was happier that Alice has ever been on new years since a long time, and she hoped that the new year only brings more of these happy moments and Ivarsen knew what was going to happen and after the inauguration party, Alice hopefully would say yes to him and before the beginning of spring, she would be his wife.
